La Cocina Mexican Restaurant Burlington #8

My new favorite Mexican restaurant!! The menu items are different and refreshing. I found many heart-healthy options, and the food was delicious. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable.

First time going here and I've been here in the Burlington area for almost 2 years so I kind of hate myself for missing this gem

It was honestly one of the best experiences all of the staff are kind! Like if you needed help just look at them and they are on there way. When you are seated at a table you feel very calm.

Stopped by here on the way back to Raleigh. Huge restaurant, lots of places to sit. Place was well lit and decor was good too. The portions were good size for what you paid for. I got the chicken quesadilla and it had a TON of chicken in it. The queso for the chips was a huge bowl(see picture). The waitress was awesome, got our order super quick. When we were done our lady bought to go for everything that we needed without even asking. Definitely would come back if we are in the area!

This review is based on my very first experience there which was Saturday. If I didn't live so far away, I would go eat here more frequently. Beautiful establishment the food was great the service was great too.

One of the best, consistently great Mexican restaurants in/around Burlington. It’s always great service and great food and have been coming here for years!

I'm here at least once every time I am in the area. Excellent consistent preparation for all the dishes I've tried. Pico de Gallo is delicious and my favorite meal is Pollo Chipotle... other's that are among my favorites.. Hawaiian Fajitas and the Carnitas Mexicana

The best Mexican food in NC! I love the margaritas. They’re huge and delicious. Frozen or on the rocks. The atmosphere is great and the place is large and can accommodate well parties and groups. The staff is amazing and the kitchen is so speedy. The food is always great as well. My family and I love La Cocina! This location is our favorite too.

A friend gave us a gift card The food was very good but some of it' was to spicy For me next time I need to ask for something not so spicy

It's been a while since I visited this location. But met up with an former coworker for lunch. Went out on a limb and tried the #15 lunch special. You can't go wrong with chorizo, bacon and eggs. It was sooo good. I'm so glad I ordered it and will definitely be getting it again. Our server was nice and attentive. I was please with everything and will return.

Was looking for descent mexican and always saw this place being busy and when we tried it we could see why, food was great and the service is awesome and friendly.

Food came out very fast! I loved my dish. Steak was tender. Will def go back again while I’m in the area.

The staff was friendly, their horchata is the best I've had since I was in Texas. The mango habanero wings were so good, that adding ranch hurt the flavor! The ribeye I ordered was juicy and went well with the rest of what I ordered.

Food was fresh and tasty. Really good tacos. Service was great.

It was dead when me and a friend went. Sat us fast, got out drinks fast, but the margaritas we ordered, took long to get and were so sour we didn't even want to drink them but did, and had to stay for almost an hour after drinking them cause we both felt sick. The frya I ordered amazing, the number lunch 5 special amazing work it was hot and filled me up.

I love coming here for girl's night! The service is the best part. Our waiter, Oscar is always very attentive and accommodating. As usual, the food was awesome!

The salsa is soooo good! Every dish I have ordered has been delicious ~ I love their Margaritas too! Oscar and the staff was so nice and quick to serve!
