K&W Cafeteria

I'm a truck drive when I have time to stop and grab a bit. My family lives in Greensboro NC and they really enjoy eating at this location of K&W Cafeteria. It is really convenient it's just off 85, either North or Southbound exit 143 Burlington, NC. It's very convenient that my 18 wheel gets in and out with no problem.As you see, no meat for me. Vegetarian, please stop by. You want be disappointed. Fresh hot food friendly faces with a smile. Clean comfortable family environment. Our seniors they value always someone around to assist. So NC, next time your on I-85, stop by K&W. Reasonable price great service. Remember drivers we move the world. Stay safe.

The food is always good. The customer service is always good. I wish more people ate here. Great hidden gem. This place should be packed all the time.

We did not have a single poorly prepared item all the food was excellent. one of us got turkey and dressing and the other got fried chicken. we both got two sides and pie and tea to finish. the service was also excellent I'm going back again any day that I have to go shopping in the area K&W is locating near serveral shopping streets home Depot , State employees credit Union, off exit 143 it is readily available to many shoppers. It has been awhile since I had eating there over 6 months the menu and service have greatly improved. In addition pies and cakes are available by order to take out and judging by what we had today would be an excellent addition to any family gathering.

Thank goodness this cafeteria is still open. Going has been a tradition since I was a baby. I’m 50 years old now. The Burlington cafeteria has the same fantastic familiar food. Nice staff. Don’t forget to leave a tip. When I was a teenager I worked in the one in Raleigh. Tips are so kind.

I went to K&W about a week ago. Needing to consume more vegetables, I thought this would be an excellent place to get them. Passing through the take-out line was fast and easy. The lady server on duty was nice and patient as I made my selections. All of the food looked scrump-delicious. When I got home, I began to eat my food. The vegetables were "Off-the-Chain!" The fish and chicken fingers were browned pretty and crispy, and tasted amazing. It was a perfect visit! I thanked my server for being professional and patient. The atmosphere was that of a grand Ole family reunion among great tasting food, wonderful cooks, and gracious family members. No doubt I will be going back pretty soon. J.S.Jordan

The food choices are a lot better and the atmosphere was good enough talk with out having to yell.

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat. Food is hot and fresh. Friendly employees, especially Miss Betty she is the sweetest.

The whitefish was excellent. Service also excellent. I wish the two KW cafeterias in our area were not closed last year. We really miss them.

I always enjoy K&W cafeterias when I'm close to one. Nice home cooked food. Reasonable prices. Wish we had one in Durham.

They have best home cooked food and desserts. Good prices. Always 8 or 10 meats to choose from and veggies and salads

We were traveling and stopped at K&W at 10:55am. Michael was our server and we were blown away. The carbonation on the soda machine wasn't cool yet so the drinks were flat. Michael didn't tell us what he was doing but he ran down the street and bought a diet Pepsi and Sprint 2 liter and bought it to our table. Talk about above and beyond. The food was cafeteria food - decent... but Michael was an above and beyond all-star. Visit just for the service!!!

Good food 😋, will visit again is my desire.

If you like home cooking, this is your place! The line ladies were very friendly and welcoming. The food was great also. Our waitress was Renee and she was very attentive, very down to earth (which is priceless in today's times) If we come back to this area we will definitely stop back in for a quick but relaxing bite!

Had a 50th anniversary dinner for my parents with lots of family and friends. Dave and his crew did a great job. Christie kept everyone happy. I know we can be overwhelming at times. We had about 70 people and no problems. Thanks again.

Food was good a little bit loud ,bus full of kids an parents ,field trip maybe,but all good.

I like desserts they make. Get one about every 6 weeks. Food is great, too. People are warm, friendly.

Line moved fast. Great food. Friendly staff

A treasure for anyone who loves the old fashioned cafeteria...anytime we are close, we stop for a wonderful meal...
