Have 2 dogs and love the staff at Compassion Vet! My dogs are always nervous to go, but they do their best to put them at ease. I did witness a wonderful site when they had a dog that was very timid around other dogs and they made sure that no one brought their dogs in until they got him to his owner safely. They go above and beyond!

How can you not love and appreciate the good people at Compassion Veterinary Center? They always take great care of our buddy, they are very flexible, innovative and patient as well. This practice has taken care of our two dogs throughout their lives and I do not have adequate words to convey how much I appreciate each and every person there. Now our brand new puppy is starting his life off right under their expert care. Their name could not be more fitting, as Compassion is their guiding principle. I am incredibly grateful for them.

We had to let one of ours cross the rainbow bridge today. Dr Brook & Tyler were so caring! Dr Brook explained the whole process, Tyler helped cuddle Bailey.... and they were great with our younger dog being with us to help him understand. Wish we had found Compassion Care years ago! They rudely care about our pets and us.

I absolutely love this practice! Just as their name says, they are truly compassionate. I know my fur babies are in wonderful hands with them. I would recommend their fabulous team to anyone!

The progressive ethos of this practice is stellar. All clinicians are kind and truly compassionate. Having been to a variety of veterinary practices across the US and abroad, I have seen my fair share of clinicians who treat animals with shocking levels of apathy. This place blows them all away. Always true to their name, all vets, techs, and the receptionist are very compassionate, kind, and caring. They've taken care of our Husky for 7 years now and Dr. Brooke Loewenstein previously cared for our Shepherd/Lab mix for 13 years. The doctors provide thorough, helpful information and genuinely care for their patients. We can't recommend them enough!

Excellent vet! I adopted this pretty tabby mix, a previous stray and wanted to get him checked out. Very convenient location beside sproing sport urbana. They got me in same day and had a minimal wait time. The vet did a full checkup and was great with my kitty. He got lots of compliments and attention! She truly has a passion for animals and it really shows. Very clean environment and reasonable pricing. I will continue to go to Compassion for my animals.

Compassion Veterinary Center is great. Their name describes their service. Knowledgeable, available, and kind. My 2 fourteen year old Bichons have been taken very good care of. I recommend them highly.

I had a great experience taking my ginger kitty Emma Stone to Compassion Veterinary Center. I had not taken my kitty to the vet since I got her over 2 years ago because of the pandemic. So, I knew she was overdue and I was worried about her not having been seen in over 2 years by a vet. Like every pet parent who treats their pets like children, I was anxious and had TONS of questions. They were very gentle with her despite her growling at them and they were SUPER patient with my plethora of questions. They gave her the shots she needed, inspected her little body all over, clipped her nails and gave her treats. The cost was obviously a lot as all vet care is, but it was still reasonable and I wasn't overcharged for things. My kitty was not feeling well the next day and I was worried when she wasn't interested in food (food is life for her and she usually squeals in delight when she gets fed). The vet was very kind to call me back and alleviate my concerns that she was just feeling crummy from her shots and she told me what signs to look for just in case. Emma is feeling MUCH better today and is eating normally, but I appreciate the doctor taking the time to reduce my anxiety. It's not fun seeing your usually playful, happy kitty hiding under the bed for a whole day. Every single person I encountered at this center was friendly, knowledgable and kind. Being new to the Frederick area, I'm glad to have established a good vet for my precious kitties.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! They have always been able to squeeze my boy Finn in whenever he hurts himself and needs fixed up (which happens often). The staff is so friendly, I even caught my self saying how compassionate they are with Finn and made myself laugh because their name says it all! Thank you all for being so amazing and loving our pets as much as we do!

Dr. Shell is the best....my dog absurdly lives her and we trust her diagnosis implicitly.

Vet and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Staff allowed me to have a few minutes alone in the room before they came in to let my cat get used to the room. The vet worked with my cat where she was comfortable, on the floor in her carrier. My scaredy cat really appreciated it. The office was clean and prices reasonable. Wonderful vet center, highly recommend.

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this clinic is. By far the best experience we have ever had with a veterinary team. They care as much about our dog as we do! The team is amazing and we will not go anywhere else. Dr. Shell and Dr. Brooke are fantastic and caring they give you and your pet the kind of attention of concern you only get from your family and friends. Lots of empathy and comfortable feeling. You rock!

This vet has been nothing but helpful and kind. Came in with an 8 week old kitten with a bad leg and they have done everything they can to help us straighten it out and give her the best life she can have! Minnie is learning to walk properly because of them. They truly care about your pets here and I will be booking for the other three cats as well!
