Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar

Out-of-Tower here, but looks like where the locals hang out. Everything was excellent. Good, attentive service, and a fun atmosphere. Fix (or take down) the burnt-out Xmas lights, however (personal pet peeve).

I felt like a pelican scarfing down these plump, juicy, briny oysters and perfectly grilled tuna tacos. Goodness sakes I love this place. Can't wait to come back.

What started as a bit of a mixup. Ended with a great experience. No one is perfect plans do not always go as planned. The Owner or manager made it right! I left feeling very Satisfied and Happy. In a world that no longer seems to value customer service.... This gentleman did and turned a difficult situation into a positive. We will return and will make this restaurant a priority when visiting my Daughter. Oh the food and drinks was excellent! Very glad we choose this place. Give it a try you wont leave disappointed.

The raw oysters, and chargrilled oysters were delicious. They were also those big oysters and not those tiny ones where you barely have anything in the shell. The clams and old bay wings were just as good. The drinks were just okay but the food is great!

I’ve been going to the “shack” since it opened . It’s my go to bar that I go to because the staff is amazing and the food and drinks are great. They have a karaoke during the week and different themed parties on weekends which make it fun. Happy hour is every day during the week from 3-7 and they have other deals on food..Favorite bartender is Val..she has a great athletic ability at making any drink that you want and she’s a great person. There are other good bars in downtown Frederick but shack is the place to be.. PARTY ON🍻

Me and my wife came here for my birthday, the food was amazing as well as the service from Tiffany! She was so hospitable we will definitely be back! It's awesome when businesses have such high quality employees!

We usually go at Happy Hour for the $1 oysters. Quite a lively place and always friendly! A friend of ours knows the owners, so we took her recommendation..

It is what it is. A dive bar for locals. I’ve gotten to know the bartending staff and they are an awesome fun loving bunch of sweet (and gorgeous) women. Ive never had a bad experience there. I truly come here for the staff and the atmosphere. Best bar in Frederick. 😊

This is a surprisingly good place! I say surprising since I never had had oysters before and now, well yum! The wings, calamari and chicken tenders we also really good. Busy but the service didn't suffer.

This place is great to grab a drink and a bite all times of day. Staff is always very friendly and very attentive. You will not find a better place centrally located in Frederick. Best oysters and seafood in the area. Lexi is the best.

I have been coming to this establishment for years and have received nothing but excellent service! I highly recommend you come here for a fun time with great drinks and food! Some of the staff members I have enjoyed being served by are (but not limited to) Hannah, Val, Kylee, Alex, and Alyssa!

Went for happy hour. Place was packed but was able to find a table. Have TVs in case you want to watch a game. Server was friendly she had knowledge of specials. We ordered a few appetizers that came out and look great tasted great. Would recommend to friends family and would go again.

It's actually has a really nice sports bar! Classic feel that you just don't see anymore a true sports bar! All you can eat oysters on certain days, great food and drinks as well! Definitely be going there more often!

This was a wonderful experience to celebrate a special day. We had a wide variety from drinks to oysters and more. The service was exceptional and the food was amazing. Although the entrance is challenging if you are handicapped, it was an awesome lunch.

This place is the best, the service is top notch and I always have friendly service. Shout out to Lexi, Carol, Darlene, Jackie, Hannah, Alyssa, Val, Alex and Kylee for always providing fun, fast, and friendly service. Our beers stay cold and football Sundays will continue to be spent at the Shack!

Love this place! Amazing service, happy hour drink/food specials, and live entertainment multiple days a week. Sports bar, so there are always games playing! HIGHLY recommend!
