Danneel Park + Playground

Very nice clean place with soft astroturf surfaces for the kids and comfortable benches for parents/nannies. I was just on a long walk by myself) no kids and went into the fenced area for a short rest. Basically a perfect spot. There used to be lots more benches along the streets of New Orleans.

Danneel is in a great spot and has a couple of playgrounds for different age groups- a 2-5 and a 5 and above. There is also a large grassy area for play that many people walk their dogs through. Pretty well shaded because of the trees. No potties.

A couple of age separated playgrounds are available. This is pretty accessible as you can get to it by trolley on St. Charles line. Usually, it's not crowded. There is plenty of open place to play as well.

Danneel Park, a quick hop off the St. Charles streetcar line, is wonderful park with plenty of shade and equipment for kids of all ages and capabilities! I love this location and so does my son as there usually is plenty of other children to play with. There are a lot of benches so adults can rest while their kiddos are playing. Unfortunately there is no bathroom and part of the playground isn't gated to keep the rambunctious kiddos away from zooming traffic.

Great park for 2-10yo. Lots of room to run and play with toys in the park area. There's a fence asking St. Charles so little running into traffic danger. Park also pretty good visibility to make it easier to keep up with multiple kid.

I was at this park for a fundraiser for a local school, Audobon Charter. Incredibly, in such a fall event for a primary school, the music was live and top notch, the food was worthy any taste, however sophisticated (not even our french friends found much to complain about). The combination of a culturally mixed crowd, and the lovely setting of the park made for a great afternoon.

Cute little park off of St Charles lots of friendly kids and plenty of places to play very safe there's a little fence that keeps all the kids nice and safe and plenty play areas it's very clean and well-kept and there's an adjoining yard where people walk their dogs all in all wonderful little place

It's a nice, tidy, well maintained playground with multiple play spaces for children 2-12 years of age, along with a large open grassy area for play or picnicking.

Great spot with friendly folks right by St Charles. Nice playground and large grass field nearby. My daughter loves this place

This was a great park for the kids! A huge playground with lots to do, and all the other families were very friendly.

The best shaded playground for hot days. Also accessible by streetcar and bicycle lane.

Great multi age play spot with trees and a wonderful green space big enough to run around in, lounge on, and generally enjoy. Water faucet. No bathrooms.

Loved my cave breakfast. Substituted the three pork chops with eggs and avocado. Paleo pancakes were delicious.

I go to this park with my toddler weekly. It is one of the nicest parks in the uptown area.

Really nice place fo kids and families. Have taken my children and now my Great Grandchildren there.

This playground has separate areas for big kids and little kids. There is plenty of shade.
