H Mart - Frederick

H Mary has become one of my favorite food halls in the area so far!! First of all, it’s a grocery store that has a food court! The best of both worlds. I tried hot stone bibimbab for the very first time and have to say that I was extremely impressed by all the flavors! Look at the video I posted and listen to that wonderful sizzle! The are multiple restaurants to order from. You order from one central location and listen for your number, you then go to the restaurant you chose your food from to pick it up! I highly recommend this place for the many different types of foods!

Love this store. Large variety of foods you won't find at normal grocery stores. Korean, Asian, Japanese, even some African, Mexican, Jewish, British (apologies if any of those categories are incorrectly labeled) and more. Tons of fresh food options, large fish and meat market, huge produce selection. Bakery, coffee shop and food court with hot items that smell and look amazing. A must check out if you like trying new things, flavors from around the world, hard to find items/ingredients.

So much to choose from in such a huge store! The store is stocked well and kept organized. Inside is a fish market, ready to eat foods and a dining area with multiple places to buy from. Will be back again to try all the foods we don't have in our local grocery stores.

This is a bigger HMart than the one in Ellicott City but pretty comparable. Great selection of Asian foods and fresh fruit and seafood. The food court at this location is very tasty, but don’t go right to the restaurant to order. There is a central ordering and payment location and then you take a seat and the restaurant will call your number when the food is ready.

I love this place, incredible value, insanely great produce, buy here or pay five times the price at Wegmans, the choice is yours! Some of the aisles smell very funky though, it's probably just the items they stock. Staff are lovely, plus the food court has some Delicious options, but the ordering system is weird and stressful :) I recommend buying rice in bulk here, will save you hundreds, great for frozen gyoza too, and fresh seafood....and the list goes on. And don't forget to sign up for a loyalty card!!!!

I love going here! They have amazing food in their food court. It’s fun to just adventure around. We usually get Bulgogi to cook at home. They have a nice selection of cookware. Well worth a trip. I will say, if you are sensitive to smells wear a mask.

I love this location!!! Beautiful and clean. Good is always fresh and a great eatery. They have several mini stores inside including a nice bakery. My favorite part is that they have a Caribbean section!

Tonight I did my shopping and paid before dining in the food court. I asked an employee if he would be able to keep my frozen items cool while I was eating. He and the woman behind the counter kept my items in a refrigerator for me. I thought this was so kind and helpful as they did not have to go out of their way and do this for me. The food was ok. I had soondubu, tteokbokki, and a mozzarella dog. There were plenty of leftovers. The mozz dog was the best! Thanks for being kind, H-Mart!

We always find what we need and things we didn't know we needed.

The food court here was really good. You had a lot of options including a delicious boba/bakery place. The seating was plentiful and the staff were all very friendly. Major, major shout out to the fruit lady who hooked my girlfriend up with a very fresh and sweet mango. It made the whole trip that much better. Such a great addition to Frederick and the Golden Mile.

This is our go to place for all things Asian. We shop there regularly and the only thing we wish they had more of, is Filipino foods. Their food court could use a Pinoy stall for ready to eat items like crispy pata, soups and salon-sapin. The fish is super fresh with a good variety - they just need to have grouper more often; hint-hint. Everything is well presented and always neat and tidy.

LOVE THIS STORE!!!!!!! I can't express how much I love this place. Amazing variety of fruits and veggies, fresh fish of all kinds!! Samples everywhere!! Ohh and don't forget their food court which is the best!!!! Must stop here if you in the area I promise you'll leave with something!

My first visit to this H-Mart was a great surprise. I ordered what turned out to be the best Thai I've ever had! Just enought lemon, noodles cooked or perfection, and flavorful beef. I also bought a Daifuku which turned out to be soft and fresh. I'll definitely stop here next time I'm passing through!

Absolutely amazing, felt like I was back in New York. It brought a slice of nostalgia to my mind. The bakery is absolutely amazing, as is the wonderful employee I met there. Hmart has Asian sweets to Jamaican spices to Hispanic snacks. They have fruits that most places don't carry and fresh seafood. There's also a small beauty mart that carries a lot of Tony Moly, which is a terrific brand. (They sell it at regular price, no overcharging here) Lastly there's a food court which I have yet to try but I'll definitely be back. The only downside is the prices of groceries, but mostly everything is imported and very difficult to find -I don't mind paying a little extra for some rare yummies. Looking forward to my next adventure at Hmart!

Love this Hmart! By far my fav one. The food court area is so wonderful. Best food and so many things to pick from. Ramen, sushi, Korean corn dogs and much more. The bakery is by far the best one in the local Hmart locations. Always so fresh. Now for the grocery portion... they have so much variety. All the wonderful Asian staples. And great prices. Fresh fish and seafood here is unmatched by anyone. The best!

Very diverse collection of international groceries. I always stock up on my favorite Korean items here. The food court is amazing, except they no longer have the Korean fried chicken shop, that’s a bummer.

Oh, I loveeeee this place. When I first moved here, I couldn't find any of the Caribbean products that I was used to cooking with, and someone sent me over to HMart. They had everything I needed and then some. They have all the produce you could ask for, fresh. Omg, the food court food in the back is bangingggg! Try it out, guys. You won't be disappointed. Pretty much, it's an international food market with products from many other countries.

H Mart is one of my favorite international supermarkets around. The selection of goods is quite nice, a must if you need something food related that's not from around here. 😉

Definitely the go-to Asain grocery store. Basically has everything unique that you would want or like to try from Asian food. Prices are decent and not overly priced. The employees are usually very helpful but some are rather rude. The food court is a absolute must try if you visit here. So many different options to choose from. The boba tea stand is outstanding and well. Can't wait to visit again and buy lots of different and fresh types of seafood and fish that are prepared right in front of you.
