Comfort Inn & Suites Durham near Duke University

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Great room for the price. Nice walk in shower. Tv was little small and dated, kinda blurry. Parking was kinda limited. They are doing renovations on the hotel so parking lot had that stuff in it too. Second floor was closed. Definitely recommend this one.

This morning there was an extremely large group of 5th graders on a field trip. We were there with 20 of us. I wanted to commend the dining room staff. They did amazing job keeping up with so many people in a short time.

We have been staying here since 2018. We love the staff, they have become like family. In the summer there is a pool to relax by. We appreciate their kindness to us when we are here.

Family trip to help our recent college grad relocate. The service was top notch. Maricela at the front desk was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The other staff members were also very good. The hotel was impeccably clean and maintained. It is not glamorous, but very comfortable. The room was very clean, comfortable, functional and quiet. The room was efficiently cleaned every day. The AC seemed to be well maintained and worked well. Breakfast was hot, plentiful and the facility was very clean. The management and staff should be proud of their hard work and their hotel. Well done.

Location is great right off the Highway and near Duke Medical Center. They have recently done some exterior updates on the landscaping which look great! The desk staff are friendly and very helpful when I am checking in have stayed a few times. The rooms are always clean and the housekeepers are friendly as well. Breakfast is always good (eggs, bacon or sausage) plus waffles and cereal! More than some hotels offer these days! Always a pleasure when staying at this location.

For a 2 star hotel, this was a great place to stay. The lobby was spacious and well lit, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast had a ton of options. It's right off the highway, so it's perfect for traveling, which is what we were doing. It took us less than 10 minutes to get to the Museum of Life and Science from here. Highly recommend this place.

Clean, quiet rooms and a lovely staff! We had a great night’s stay!

The service provided by the hotel staff is top notch. I had my flight delayed and then cancelled twice so I arrived at the hotel a full 28 hours after I had planned. Not only did they hold my reservation, they did not charge me for the day I was not there because of the issues with my flight even though they had every right to charge me. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept on with plenty of good pillows that weren't lumpy. Breakfast was great with multiple hot breakfast options. No food options had run out before I got there, there was plenty of seating, and the staff cleaned the tables quickly after guests finished and left. My king room was spacious with a large sitting area next to the bed, a microwave, and a fridge. The room was clean although it was showing its age here and there. Overall, I felt it was a very good value for the price.

Definitely I recommend this hotel for any kind of visit, as a business or leisure travel. Front Desk very professional and sympathetic. I was in line observing how they treated guest in front on me and made me feel I was on the right place. My room very peaceful and cleaned, breakfast great, pool was opened and got to enjoyed a little peaceful time. I will come back next year and definitely this Hotel will choose again!!!!

Great service, friendly staff. Clean rooms. Will be starting here again. Also they are updating the bathrooms in all rooms and the new look is great. Walk in glass enclosed showers. LED lights behind the bathroom mirrors. Good job.

The room was very clean and smelled nice. Amenities were plentiful. I slept amazing during my stay and usually free breakfast at a hotel is awful but in this case it was hot and filling and delicious and abundant! Plus scorching hot water that doesn't run out! Big thanks to the staff!

We were amazed at how clean the lobby and rooms were. How fresh the rooms smelled. We even wondered what they cleaned with. The people at the desk were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The hotel was 6 minutes away from the VA hospital in Durham which was our destination.

Hotel is located right off of I-85. Dustin, the front desk clerk was awesome. Originally had my room on the 3rd floor but since my father (Army Veteran) has to use a wheelchair. Dustin was able to switch our room to the 1st floor close to the entrance. I would definitely use this hotel in the future and would recommend anyone to use this hotel.

Great experience, second time here, we are in the area twice a month, switched from a place across the street. Decent room, clean, breakfast was also nice, overall no issues. Front desk personnel very nice and we had no issues with the room. We will be back.

This place has been remodeled I love it was so clean the service seemed to be really nice the only issue was the towels the linen in the bathroom was not clean that was in the bathroom that was folded up but other than that everything else was awesome

I come to Durham about every 3 months with my daughter she is sick. This is the first time staying at this comfort inn. It was the cleanest hotel by far after staying at a handful in the area. You can tell the housekeeping staff is well trained no dust no hair bed was comfortable. Breakfast attendant was very aware of the people in the breakfast area and helped whenever asked. I felt completely safe coming and going from my room. Will definitely put this one on my list for my next stay. Thank you to all the staff. The hotel was amazing and so clean will definitely recommend it to my friends and family. See you again in January
