Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The only downside to this place is that everyone loves it so there's almost always a big crowd to wait out to get a table.
As someone from the part of the country that doesn't really have Cracker Barrel I've become pretty obsessed.
If you're looking for fine dining or fancy food this isn't the right place for you. What they do have is homey and comforting food that is incredibly tasty and could almost be mistaken for Granny's Cooking.
Staff is always friendly no matter how busy they are.

Catered my company’s Thanksgiving dinner and the food was on point. Turkey was moist and perfectly prepared, the sweet potato casserole was amazing, not to mention the fresh cranberry relish, pumpkin pies, and all the rest. Did I mention it’s affordable? And the staff at the Morrisville location were easy to work with, friendly, and went out of their way to get everything done on time. Highly recommended!

We were very apprehensive to go to this location. The last few visits we were either told there would be an hour - an hour and half wait (even though 2/3 of the dining room was empty) or the time we were seated we waited an hour for our food and when it came out, some sides were missing. Rather than saying they were out, the waiter tried to pass it off. When I asked, he said they were out. He asked if I wanted something else and I said I didn't want to wait another hour, so I sent everything back.
Fast forward about a month. We went in last night, were seated within five minutes of entering and our waitress was one of the best we've had in ANY restaurant. When we asked about a certain side, she made a face and said they may be out - she checked BEFORE we completed the order. Luckily the side was available. The food was delicious, came out in a timely manner and our waitress kept our beverages filled and made sure we wanted for nothing. This trip restored our faith in Cracker Barrel and we will definitely be back!

Staff was very friendly as soon as we walked in, we left Whaffle H because the staff was rude and the coffee cup had lipstick from previous customer. Waiter was very friendly, food was hot and yummy and place was very clean. We made the right choice of stopping by after the horrible experience at the previous place. Our second time coming to a Cracker Barrel one in Myrtle beach and this one and both were great.

Our server made the meal! Elizabeth was so attentive and sweet. Her over the top attention to details were so appreciated. Her involving everyone singing happy Birthday to our grandson was the best.

First time trying out the chain, and it was amazing. Great tasting southern food, friendly service and good atmosphere.
The general store is very nice too.
Will definitely visit again!

Have loved your place forever but have not been in awhile. I was hoping to find the biggest reeses cup for 3 people but couldn't find it anywhere....then my friend let me know you had them. I drove right down and found 1 pound reeses cup....wow were the three people I gave them to amazed and happy! Definately love your restaurant and store. Thank you! PS: one pound snicker bar available too.

The service was slow low staff. The catfish was the best... yummy! Grits not cooked enough no seasoning on them. Eggs not season. Customer service good. I usually always get breakfast food only. Rest of food pretty good.

The wait staff was awesome in a bad situation! The food took an hour from order to delivery. The problem was the cook staff! Evidently, not enough staff to cook the food. But the food was excellent when it arrived. Our waitress was awesome! She was so apologetic for the wait, refilled our drinks, brought us fresh hot biscuits from the kitchen! Even gave us a piece of cake.

The food was great as always, but it seems the staff is easily confused, which takes up a lot of time.

Cracker Barrel has the best sit-down restaurant value that I can think of. Good, hardy food; good, friendly service; good, old-timey ambiance (especially when they get the big fireplace going). All at a reasonable price. Cracker Barrel also has the best merchandise area. Even if you're not into shopping before or after a meal (I'm definitely not into it), they still have interesting stuff to look at.

Ordered through the app - this review is more on customer service than the food (I was sick and couldn't smell/taste food). When the food arrived, a few plates were opened and spilled out, along with missing a few items. The Mamager on duty, Sheree, was very apologetic and even called door dash for us about the food. Based on this great quality if service, as soon as I am able to taste and smell my food again, I will he visiting the restaurant in person.

My husband & I were in the Durham Raleigh area. We ate at the Cracker Barrel on Spergess Rd. We ate there 2 maybe 3 times while we were in the area. We ENJOYED eating there. Breakfast was fantastic! Dinner/Supper wasn't as good. My chicken was over cooked. However, the rest of the food was like Momma would have cooked it. At the time we ate dinner it was under staffed we waited about 45 minutes or more for our food. I Love shopping in your stores. IT IS WORTH GOING TO EAT THERE.

The best Cracker Barrel I've ever eaten from!!! I frequently order delivery from this location through various apps and I always have a great experience. The food is consistently packaged so nicely and they give me extras which is wonderful. Currently, I am a graduate student living in a hotel. The dishes at Cracker Barrel are the closest examples of the food that I would consider as home cooked. They never disappoint and seem to take extra care of my orders. Thank you so much to all the workers at this location. You always make me feel as though my business is appreciated!

We had an outstanding waitress her name was Ashley!! The food was great the restaurant was clean. The manager was walking around helping staff and talking with customers.

I ordered over the phone! The young lady that took my order was great! She even found me a cheaper combo which is great!Service great food!

My experience at this location was AMAZING!!!!
I obtained my Master’s degree on Saturday, December 9, 2023 and I wanted to celebrate by having dinner with my family. I needed a location that would accommodate a large party and in close proximity of the highway to make it easier for my parents who had travelled in from out of town.
I chose to dine at the Cracker Barrel on Airport Boulevard in Morrisville, NC because it was conveniently located just off of Interstate 40 and a few minutes from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.
The restaurant was understaffed at the time of my arrival due to employees that had not shown up for work, nevertheless this did not affect the service that my family and I received. I would like to thank Mike P. for the service that he provided to us. Although he was the manager on duty he did not hesitate to leave the comfort of his office to serve me and my family. The food was great and the service was impeccable!!! Thank you so much for allowing me to end my graduation day on a high note!!!

Great stopping pount on our vacation. Rv/bus parking in the back. Pull thru. No hookups. The manager was kind enough to let us stay the night after our meal. Then we ate a good breakfast before heading out. Very nice people!!! Great food!
There is an airport nearby, and there were planes flying over which was cool. It did not bother us at all. And we both slept great!

As a driver, I get around a lot. Cracker Barrel is consistent with service and and food in the 4 diferent States I've dine in. Definitely recommend. Grandmas sampler(posted picture) always hits the spot.

Loud mouthed lady drinking a beer and talking loudly on her phone ruined the otherwise quiet and calm atmosphere. Talking on your cell phone should be banned in the restaurant. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the waitress was very attentive.
