Those Lovely Locks

I always look forward to my maintenance appointments with Moon. They are skilled, knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. Moon takes great care of me and I always leave with a big smile on my face and my locks looking quite lovely!! 10/10 recommend booking an appointment with them!

Moon and Jazmin are amazing people. Jazmin shared her knowledge about locked hair with me and then Moon did my install. They did such a wonderful job! Don’t underestimate Moon just because they are the apprentice!! I really enjoyed my install day! :)

Outstanding! Jasmine fixed my dreadlocks that were previously installed wrong by someone else and I thought they were unfixable. I would highly recommend these lovely locks if you are interested in chemical free matted locks to give Jasmine a call. The wait to get on her client list is extremely worth it! Miss Jasmine is absolutely amazing. All the questions 3 to 4 years ago I had before I got my dreadlocks she answered every single question. I hate I had. I had to move to Florida. A year later. She not a lock technician she’s made me feel like family. My new lock technician is good but not as great as her. If she’s taking clients you’ll never find better.

Price is reasonable. She makes sure your hair is exactly the way you want it. If you have any questions she takes her time explaining everything to you. She doesnt push any sales onto you. Its a comfortable lovely place to go get your hair extentions or dreads. Hence the name lovely locks. BONUS! Its connected to an awesome clothing shop! Plus size friendly! Great prices as well!!!

Jazmin is very experienced at her craft. If you want to have dreadlocks, this is Asheville’s gal to get them from! Your locks can get a deep clean here as well! I go to her for maintenance, root repair, and lock repair.
I’m proud to see how far she has come growing her own business. She now has a new apprentice to guide!
In addition, her studio has expanded into a plus size clothing store! She’s making her dreams come true by working hard with a full heart!

Jazmin is amazing with locks/dreads/ropes. I've been seeing her for almost 7 years and she is the only one to work on my hair. She doesn't use any chemicals or products, which I love.

The weekend before Christmas, I had dreads done in Pittsburgh (where I live), then promptly traveled for gigs in Florida the following week. I realized pretty quickly that the person who installed the dreads didn't do a very good job and that I was in need of some immediate help to prevent a huge problem.

I was going to be in Asheville on New Year's Day, and through a google search found Those Lovely Locks and contacted Jazmin to see if she was, by chance, taking appointments on the holiday. Thankfully, she was, and she was willing to do as much work as possible during the short 3-hour window that I had in town.

She's a wizard. We got through about 2/3 of my head and the locks she fixed look amazing. She's also an amazing person and I had a great experience spending the afternoon with her working on my hair.

The only con to my experience is that I live in Pittsburgh, PA ... nearly 8 hours from Asheville. While I'll need a more local loctician for routine maintenance, I'm going to work a trip or two each year into my schedule to have Jazmin give them some love.

Huge props for great service, an amazing experience, and going out of your way to see a brand new client at the last minute on a holiday.

Getting my dreads started here was one of the best decisions I ever made. I can say I have truly loved every step of my dreadlock journey and any time I have needed help or advice Jazmin has been there. I can say I've come away with much more than just a hairstlye, most definitely worth every penny!

I don't trust anyone else with my locs. Jazmin gets the job done. She's friendly, funny, extremely knowledgable, and always has the best Netflix recommendations for a retwist session. :) If you care about your hair, this is the place to go.

The chick who owns this place is very cool i dont have dreds but there is a resale shop More 2 love there to I go there . I sell my clothes there i love to shop and fi d lots of good deals so i need to purge alot .
