1877 Pub & Grub

Came here on Friday night it was nice and pleasant and food tasted great. I’ve ordered pub chips and they were super crispy on a thicker side. Really liked them!! The signature 1877 cheeseburger was amazing. This provolone cheese and not overwhelming amount of mushrooms was great.

This was our first time here. The steak bomb was very well seasoned, the chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the prices were reasonable. My wife got the Carolina burger and said the chili was amazing. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic tacos!! I got the ones with grouper. Really fantastic flavors, you can't go wrong with this dish. I tried a small bite of chicken fingers and they were really good too. Not the best fries ever but I ate some of those too. Cool spot. Great service.

A must stop and try! We only live about 2 minutes away and I don’t know how we missed this place for the last few years. We were seated right away, Drinks were brought out quick and the food was delicious. The food portions are good and the prices are reasonable. I had a pasta dish, but the ones that ordered a burger was not disappointed. We are planning to return.

Oh my gosh this place is amazing. You want one of the best burgers you’ve ever eaten and you e got to try the 1877 pub nacho’s. The service was great, nice atmosphere and outstanding food.

Looked up places in Conover, NC with salads. 1877 was at the top of the list. Tried it out and had a Cobb salad. Delicious, tasty, crispy with all the goodies. Was greeted friendly, quick service and before I needed to ask, another glass of tea came to the table. Thank you Lauren for the good food and excellent service, I'll be back next time in town!

I've eaten here a few times and every time, it's delicious. Every time the service is excellent and every time, I enjoy my visit. I'll be back for sure!! 😊

The staff is great. Bartender is incredible. Great place to eat and enjoy.

Good food, good service. We got buffalo chicken wraps with pub chips and beer mac n cheese. All was really good. Portions were good.

I have eaten here for lunch many times!! Service is always friendly and we were well taken care of! The burgers are always on point! The french dip is always good!

The food is typical of your bar/pubs. The sandwhich I ordered was good. They definitely added their twist to distinguish it from a regular panini sandwhich.

We were there during the evening and the service was great. The wait staff definitely does their job well.

I'm not sure if most nights are like this but you seat yourself/self seat.

We went to 1877 Pub and Grub on Wednesday for musical bingo and it was a blast. The service and food was good as well, but the atmosphere was my favorite part of the experience. It made for a perfect date night.

My husband and I both had burgers that were good. The pub chips were great. The portion sizes were really large, especially for the sides.

I would say that the music they play for musical bingo is not clean (not surprising since it's a bar/themed for adults), so if that bothers you or you don't want small children around that just be aware.

Overall, we plan to go back regularly on Wednesdays for the musical bingo and good food!

First visit to this establishment. It is laid back, friendly, atmospheric, and the food was oh so good. Our waitperson, Bill, was efficient and kind. Will most certainly return again.

Was a great experience. Had the Carolina burger with two sides. It was delicious. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat for those drunken pinto beans if I didn't live so far away.

My wife and I keep 1877 in our normal rotation for dining out. I normally get a burger and she gets the Turkey panini. They are both delicious. Their chicken tenders are great as well. I have never tried their wings, but they look great too. My only complaint, it that it can get a little loud in there sometimes, and if you are looking for a quiet place to have dinner, it can be noisy at times. Honestly, we have walked in and heard the noise level before and walked out. However, if you have never been, you have got to go and give them a try. I don't believe that you will be disappointed.

Really great food and service! Had lunch on a Sunday and it was busy, but still had great service from Savannah. We all enjoyed our meals, and I had a yummy cheeseburger with Beer Mac and cheese that was outstanding! Highly recommend!

Great spot! We are from CT and stopped in for a bite to eat on our road trip. Our server was so friendly and attentive, the food was amazing, and they even had live music as we were leaving. Would recommend if you’re in the area!!
