Great subs. Somehow the bread gets better if you order a hot sub to go.
Wonderful, friendly folks running it. Only open lunch hours except Thursdays during the summer.

5 stars for sure!! Yep your going to wait at peak times but it’s worth it. This place is managed well and let me tell ya these ladies are working nonstop to get these orders done. So much to choose from, and everything I’ve ordered has been amazing. If your in a hurry and want subpar food, go somewhere else. If you want quality food, come by Chubbys. You won’t be disappointed unless your in a hurry. I review a lot of restaurants and this one is 5 stars. I highly recommend this place for sure. Good job Chubbys Conover. We will definitely be back.

The food and service were great. Atmosphere is a nice small mom and pop shop. Well worth the stop.

I'll say their pizza and burgers were decent but their homemade chicken is incredible. Would highly recommend this place.

BEST KEPT SECRET IN CATAWBA COUNTY....WHEN YOU DREAM ABOUT SOMETHING AND IT TASTE JUST LIKE IT YOU HAVE MY TITLE FOR WORLDS BEST SPAGHETTI!!!!!!!!!! Yes LORDDDDDDD..... probably gonna be there EVERY THURSDAY FOR IT!!

A really good place to go and get a salad or a sub fast and friendly service and the staff is really nice to so if you haven't tried them yet go and check them out

Food was great, there was so much to choose from on the menu and the service was excellent! There's just something about a place when they make you feel so welcome it adds to the food and you enjoy it even more! Will definitely return to try more menu items. I fell in love with their Italian sub. Any time I'm in town I'm going to eat there. The staff is really friendly and the service is fast. Try them you won't regret it.

I have frequented this place on my lunch break for 26 years, know Wendy and her staff well. You will not find a place with a more welcoming atmosphere, or better lunch food, or with people that are more friendly and eager to make sure you enjoy your meal. Suggest you try it for yourself.

It's a bit of a drive for us just to have lunch it was worth it!!!! I had the white chicken chilli and a salad. Chilli was just hot enough a tiny bit spicey but absolutely delicious I wish she had bigger bowls. My wife had an ultimate veggie sub and though I think of every meal being a chance to eat meat the sub was great also. You can't go wrong eating there. Only open till 2:30 though. Go for lunch other great items on the menu too.

Absolutely love Chubby's. The chef salad is awesome, Subs are great, and the fact that they will "bake" your spaghetti for only $1 upcharge, is great. I eat here any chance I get. I highly recommend.

Very cozy place. The staff are friendly and the food is great. The menu is quite large, so there is a lot to choose from. Salads, melts, sandwiches, soups, pizza and more. If you are in the area it is worth stopping in and trying.

I've spent many years in NY where there are countless sub shops, and this is BY FAR the best meatball sub I have ever eaten. Amazing.
