Buen Dia Mexican Breakfast & Lunch

By far the most delicious, authentic Mexican food I have had in years. I am OBSESSED with the beef enchiladas. They have the best sauce I have ever tasted! Really cute restaurant, friendly staff, awesome food. My only regret is that it took me so long to try it. I will definitely not wait long to go back!

Veggie egg omelette with refried beans was amazing! The staff was friendly and polite. The restaurant was clean and bright. I would highly recommend!

The tacos were amazing. Service was great, in reviews a few people complained about service and ours was great. You seat yourself but staff was right over with menus and food came out quickly. I will definitely be back. It's hard to find good Mexican food in nc as I moved here from TX 25 years ago and this place is probably my favorite now.

My Wife found this amazing restaurant and we decided to give it a try for breakfast. Let’s just say we were absolutely blown away by the quality and amazing and authentic flavors of the food! Presentation was perfect and their prices are family and budget friendly. The restaurant is super clean and the decor is fun and vibrant. The staff were super friendly and very helpful with menu suggestions. Honestly this is the best and most authentic Mexican food we have ever eaten, and we eat it a lot! Can not wait to come back and bring our family to this gem of a restaurant! They are just a short drive from both Wilmington and Leland and so worth it!!

Stopped in on a whim after being nearby, and I am so glad I did! The food was so good, and the service and speed were excellent. I had an egg and chorizo scramble (not sure the proper term) that was just out of this world. My only complaint is I don't live closer, already trying to figure out when I will be back!

I recently visited Buendia restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and I must say, the experience was delightful. The chilaquiles and café de olla I had for breakfast were a perfect start to the day. The chilaquiles were incredibly flavorful, striking a nice balance of spice and freshness, and the café de olla had just the right amount of sweetness.

This place is awesome and the food was authentic and very delicious 😋. I love the smell when u walk in. The staff is friendly. I will make sure every time im on this side of town to come again.

Thoroughly enjoyed! Being from a Hispanic/Latino background myself, This is by far the BEST authentic Mexican restaurant I have ever had in the Wilmington area! This will be the only Mexican restaurant I ever eat at again- the food was fresh and delicious. We went in on a Thursday midmorning around 11a-12pm. It was a bit crowded but luckily we found a small table towards the back. It is a very small place inside and there is not much seating. Although there was a crowd, the customer service was great! We ordered the birria tacos, Street tacos, and jarritos tamarindo. Everything was soooo delicious. Our bill was a bit over $30 and worth every penny! If you are inquiring about this place, just GO!!! You won't be disappointed! Will return soon.

Excellent authentic Mexican. The Quesabirria tacos. The consomé was amazing. Staff was very nice and quick! Great spot!

Stopped in for lunch. Thick corn tortillas; you get your money’s worth of food. The taste was outstanding.

It's worth the wait.

The best mexican food I've ever had! The refried beans are CRAZY good. The chips are hand made. The kids got pancakes and they were amazing too. I'll be coming back tomorrow.

Truly amazing! It’s the only restaurant in Wilmington where it’s truly Mexican and you can tell just by walking in! Will come again with my college friends!!

They were packed with several parties in line. They managed all well. The food is great-- worth the wait. Everyone there was in good spirits.
