We came here for a late breakfast after hiking the Eno River State park. The place was busy but we were able to grab a table right away. I really enjoyed the omelette I ordered. It came with home fries and toast. My daughter ordered a really creamy shrimp Alfredo. The food was delicious and came out fast. We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and felt the price was fair. I would definitely recommend and be back for more

One of the best Cappuccino I’ve had in recent times! Live music on Friday evening made it more memorable. Nachos and bagels were worth trying for the price.

FRESH Delicious Food & Cafe beverages at a reasonable price!!! (Worth every penny) they have an amazing staff,barista & chef. I'm dropping this review because the warm welcoming family environment i experienced from my boi Alex and server Fabeola ....from the door I was greeted and treated like family ! plus did I say everything is FRESH👍😉

Amazing prices and even more delicious food . I got their breakfast Baleada and it was stunning. The wrap was buttery soft , the meat was citrusy and flavorful and the seasonings all added to the amazing flavor . Recommend for an indulgent breakfast .

I found this place because of the coffee options, I keep coming back because I can't find a single menu item that isn't amazing 🤩. To go orders are great but take some time to sit with friends, family, or your partner for a meal and just enjoy the atmosphere and energy of the place. I never have a bad experience and if you can catch the schedule you might see a live band playing.

I went here on Saturday March 30th at 7:00 and the food was delicious, the coffee was really good and I appreciated the kind waitress! She was very helpful and polite! I recommend this place!

Make sure you get the french toast and the home fries! Best I've had in Durham! Very friendly staff. The place can get packed on a weekend morning so plan accordingly. They also have really good coffee.

Stumbled upon this place in search of a good breakfast burrito. Ended up discovering so much more. Sunday at noon, all tables full, people happy, food looks amazing coming out. We ordered a bacon breakfast burrito to go and will 100% be back to explore more of the menu. Looking forward to trying some of the juices! What a find! Great prices too!

My wife and I came for breakfast and were delighted by the flavor of their burrito and steak and eggs with beans and plantain. The flour tortilla is warm and chewy with a light grill flavor.

One of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had!! Eggs were very fresh and had Turkey sausage, onions, peppers and cheese. So delicious!! My wife loved her desayuno catracho deluxe, also!! We found this place a couple weeks ago passing through Durham at night looking for coffee. Got some Frappes that were great too!! We will definitely stop here more often!!

Great food on a nice restaurant. Antique coffee grinders decorate the walls. Besides the great food, they also have a cooler with Mexican coke, jarritos and jumex.

Coffee and food were both very good and came quickly. Service was excellent. Great no frills place with a nice selection.

I'm not sure how they did it, but the magic and love in their vege omelet turned me into a morning person! Will most definitely be back!!!!
PS thier coffee was reminiscent of the coffee I fell in love with in Spain.

I tried this place for the first time the other day and I was very pleased. The fries were delicious (and cooked very well) and the wrap I ordered was also very good. The woman working was very nice.

A whole lot of menu on offer. Empenadas are delicious...unlike any I've had elsewhere. Staff is friendly, food came out fast.

What a cool little place! The girl we spoke to is the owner's daughter, and she is super cool. Down to earth type, polite, friendly! And the food is the epitome of warm, comfort food. Filling, freaking delicious and AWESOMELY affordable. So. Good.

Esmerelda's is a true hidden gem in north Durham! I got coffee a few times when they used to be located in Northgate Mall and loved it. I was happy to hear they had opened in a new location after the mall closed. I have only had coffee and donuts from them, but their food menu has so much variety and always looks and smells delicious whenever I am there. I need to plan a full meal soon. Do not sleep on this place!!
