Fun trail with a couple creek crossings. If you are careful you can find a way across dry, i did while carrying a 2yr old across so I'm sure you can do it too! Was about 2 miles out and back. Trail follows the river along the way which is always a nice bonus! The waterfall at the end is absolutely beautiful and more than worth the trip! No fee to hike this trail either. Get out there and enjoy the beauty of nature!

Fun hike. There are 3 water crossings so make sure to bring water shoes to get thru those. We had flip flops which worked but water shoes would be better. About 45 min each way but well worth it. There is a pool at the base of the falls that you can swim if you like to cool off. Definitely want to go back.

A little bit of a drive from Charlotte but worth it. The hike is mostly shaded. There's a few spots where if you're not paying attention to the trail you'll end up off trail but it's fairly easy to stay on track, there's a few narrow spots and one it two inclines nothing too strenuous. You can hike up to the top of the waterfall and there are ropes to help you get there too.

Loved this waterfall location. It is as advised, a tiny bit tricky to get to but it's totally worth it. It does have high ridges you'll be walking along to get there, but it's very manageable. About a mile and a half hike, rocks to climb easily and river crossing too are part of the easy hike there. The waterfall wading pool area is only about 5' deep at some spots. If your agile, you can climb up at least two tiers of boulders by waterfall. The water is obviously very cool so its especially enjoyable during hit days. We noticed on the return hike there was another hiking path that's a bit higher up there. We will stick to the lower easy path we originally took. You do hike along the river for quite a bit with plenty of spots to play and chill in river. Parking is very limited though, and trail head is not clearly marked. It's on other side of the street by the river.

Had an amazing hike at Little Bradley Falls. The scenery was awesome and the trail was in great condition except for a couple of recently fallen trees. The waterfall at the end was worth the trip by itself.

Great place to go for a hike. The trails aren't marked well and you'll veer off a time or two, but it's worth it. The trail is by the road so you'll hear cars. There's also a gun range nearby so you may hear a few rounds going off. Overall, I enjoyed the 2ish mile hike to the falls. There are creeks to cross which can be fun for kids and dogs. Once you get to the falls you'll want to relax on a warm rock and enjoy the scenery.

We visited Little Bradley Falls with a big group and enjoyed swimming in the basin below the falls. I really enjoyed the hike and the views once we got there! 🌳

Beautiful spot with a varied 2 mile or so hike out and back trail. Some river crossings, a few rock scrambles, some narrow spots but in general what most would call on the easy side of moderate. Several families, some older hikers and dogs along the way so doable by most.

It was a little tricky finding at first because Google maps takes you to a Scout camp if you just track to the falls and not specifically the trail head. A few spots not far in where you lose track of the trail and might think you’re headed in the wrong direction but keep on and it will widen back out and be more obvious.

This one is fun! Lots of rocks to climb on. We take the trail down by the creek where you have to hang on to tree roots and climb around rocks to get through. I think there is a trail that goes up and around to bypass this part. Theres no real elevation change so its not too strenuous but there are rocks to walk on and creeks to cross to get to the waterfall. Once there you can climb to the top while Mom freeks out watching at the bottom.

The hike to this falls was slightly moderate but fun. Some people may find a few spots along the trail challenging since there are a few areas that require you to balance yourself on rocks to either cross the creek or walk adjacent to it. There are multiple trails so I would recommend looking at or saving a map on your phone to make sure you stay on the correct path the falls. The falls was well worth the hike!

July 2018 visit and hike to Little Bradley Falls, NC was a true adventure! Due to heavy rain falls recently, the normal trails had been closed for maintenance. We decided to walk the river. It was originally .9 miles from start to finish and about a 30 minute very easy hike. Since we winged it, it took over an hour. Zero directions but loads of fun.

beautiful waterfall at the end. hiked it with my kids (7,7,9) and they loved it. we missed the river crossing at the Y and ended hiking up an extra .5 mile or so before turning back but enjoyed the views of that as well of river below.

Absolutely beautiful! Our favorite waterfall so far, we wanted a place to take our engagement photos over valentines weekend and this place was perfect, there was only one other couple that came the whole time we were there. The trail is a little lengthy but not challenging, only thing I would recommend is where waterproof boots or shoes while cold or something you can take off when warm because you do have to cross 2 streams and you're feet will get wet. Love this place!

Our favorite hike to date. Many fallen trees, boulders to climb over, creek to cross through a few times. You will be wet by the time you reach the falls. And the falls are beautiful. Trail isn't marked well, just follow the creek. So worth the one hour hike into the forest. We did see 3 snakes so just keep an eye out. Only passed a handful of folks and had falls to ourselves for a while.

Trail not marked. Little to no trail at times. Two foot high rock climbing for over fifty yards. Steep drop offs with less then eight inches wide of trail path. Numerous obstacles on trail to climb over, under, or find a way around. Have to cross two mountain streams. Trails that lead off into wrong direction. Still awesome waterfall.

Loved this waterfall. Very peaceful to be around and I felt like I could have sat at the bottom and stared at it for hours. Especially being a photographer, I highly recommend checking this out. You won't regret it.

Very nice shot hike would not recommend for small kids and some dogs not that the trail is that hard but the down trees and the bolder filled you have to go through maybe a bit of a challenge for some but overall the trail is easy and very few spots that I would call moderate. Follow the red dots up the hill to the left not alongside the river to start

Little Bradley Falls is a beautiful 40-foot waterfall that's moderate in difficulty to reach. The trailhead is along Holbert Cove Road after the bridge over Cove Creek and just after the trailhead for Big Bradley Falls. From the trailhead, head up following red blazes. The more obvious path along the creek goes nowhere. In about 0.3 miles, you'll have to cross a tributary but can usually get across dry unless very high water. Then at half a mile, another crossing that usually requires getting your feet wet. After this, it's pretty easy the rest of the way to the waterfall. Use caution near the waterfall as the rocks are very slippery.
