We had such a great time here. When you arrive there's a small area for parking on the side of the road. There are two areas you can hang out and relax near the water. You can go down on the same side as where you park come out or you can cross the street and there's another area there. Across the street is where the waterfall is. The water there is shallow on either side. Perfect for just dipping your feet in. We saw a gentleman fishing there. If you're wanting to hike the trail. It is not clearly marked. There is a service road with a orange gate. At first I didn't think that was it. We ventured up at thinking it was just the service road her access to the top of the waterfall. Once we got up there though we saw the actual beginning of the trail. I would suggest wearing long sleeves and long pants if possible. Trail is very narrow and has overhanging growth with thorns. Also wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy. There are a couple of areas where it is saturated with water. Being at the trail is narrow there's not much room for you to go around. You're going to need to do some bending and climbing over and under trees on occasion as well. The trail is easy to moderate. Overall it was a wonderful day to spend time there. I went with my dog and he had a blast in the water and on the trail.

Great place to hike and places to get in the water. We bring 1/10th scale RC Crawlers down here as it's a great place to drive them. Everyone down there is always interested in watching us too lol

This place is always been great but here are my recent years it's gaining more and more in popularity and it has caused a decline somewhat and its cleanliness there's a lot more trash from drug use alcohol broken bottles it would still be nice if people would take out what they bring in but I also only go here to play in the river with my kids

We didn't walk the trail because it was raining, water was rushing pretty fast, fog was thick, and it was freezing. Still a beautiful small area to wander. Falls to see in the area. Very easy trail in the beginning but the course definitely gets more advanced.

Beautiful scenery and nice trails. You can get almost all the way up to the dam or you can actually get in the river across the street near the parking lot. Love it and will return!

Awesome place at low water to check out. I'd like to see it full and see what the water does.
