Gotta make up for some of these bad reviews. I had a totally great experience. The line moved quickly thanks to the knowledgeable, understanding and lovely people behind the counter. I had a package to send internationally so they me helped with the form, and in the end the total price was much cheaper than anywhere else I'd checked. No complaints!

I always have a pleasant experience at this location. I go once sometimes twice a week to mail items for work and the staff has always treated me well. I've never experienced a wait time more than a couple of minutes.

My USPS home mail delivery is another matter. Never know when a carrier will deliver the regular mail to our house. It can be anytime between 1100 am or after 6 pm. So many disappointing daily dry runs to check our mail box. Wanted to praise the USPS for its expeditious handing of two deliveries between USA & Thailand; Germany & USA at a time volume is brisk. Mailed a letter on 17 November from San Antonio to Thailand. Eleven days later (shortest time) recipient notified me it had been received. Our son sent a heavy Christmas package (4.2kg) from Germany on 18 November. It arrived last night on 9 December. Exactly three weeks after mailing. Both are excellent times based on previous experiences. Applaud you, in these cases, for your excellent delivery service. Receivers in Thailand & San Antonio were overjoyed & happy with the contents. Added note: your USPS Informed delivery is a great service.

We had a great experience getting passports for our family on a rainy Saturday morning. We got there about 745 to sign in. We were the 4th in line and we left before 9. A young woman by the name of Lolly handled our applications. She was very nice, very helpful, efficient and pleasant. We were fully expecting someone there who would do their best to be obstructionist but she was the complete opposite. Thanks very much.

I had to go to the main post office to get my shipping materials. They were kind enough to allow me to use one of their carts to take it to my car. It is wheelchair accessible.

Wonderful post office with exceptionally helpful staff. Always impressed with the employee (possible supervisor) asking people in line what they are there for, in an effort to expedite their wait. They patiently answer questions and even help with the self-serve kiosk.

I thought the customer service here was excellent. I brought a vital record that did not have the hospital's name that I was born in. As of 2016 that's a requirement. The cashier was on top of helping through this problem. I thought he did an excellent job explaining what was needed, and was great at assisting with a process that could have potentially been stressful.

I'm writing a review because the service I received at this post office was exceptionally great! Dorothy was the clerk who assisted me with my shipment. I didn't take my own boxes and 2 items I was shipping were either too large or too small for the boxes that were available. Dorothy patiently sought boxes into which my items would comfortably fit. She also took the time to make sure they were padded properly so my items wouldn't be damaged in transit. She did all of this with a smile as she joked with her co-worker and me. I can't say that I've ever had a bad experience in any post office but i've never had a clerk take so much time to assist me with so much kindness. Sometimes, it's the little moments in life where we see each other's humanity, and act accordingly, that make the difference. Dorothy, you were so kind and truly appreciate it. All of the clerks I observed during my visit seemed pleasant and personable.

I have always had a pleasant, efficient experience at this Post Office. The passport division is another and separate concern from regular postal services. I would not disparage all employees and postal services based on dislike of the passport division. By the way, I made an appointment at the East Houston Post Office for a passport. I arrived about 10 minutes before time, and it was quick, with no lines.

Staff is friendly, service is quick, and NO SPAM. What more can you ask for. Oh, and the stamps are cool. Much more pleasant to look at than all the stupid ads on electronic media. Finally, as long as no one sneezes, nothing to go viral in one way or another.

I make plenty of trips to this post office since it's unsafe to send things out in the mailbox these days. They are never too busy and the place is always well kept. Last time I needed to mail something out an older man employee was nice enough to explain how stamps work and give us the best deal ( even though it was only like .57c 😂) he was very nice & made that visit one to remember with his jokes.

This is our Main Post Office "USPS" and we are very pleased with their services. They receive, insure and ship mail and packages internationally. They have an office for US Passports, also PO Boxes for rent, mail sorting, and a separate Business delivery. We are always greeted respectfully and sometimes cheerfully despite potential of large influx of customers. These are hard working people and they serve our country. May God bless and protect them. Thank you for your service.

I went to this post office every day over a one year period. I would drop packages at 3am and never had a missing package. It is actually open at 4am with a person in back. Go in the front door and knock on the wooden door and a person will answer, great when you have a oversized package too big for the slots.
