We are new to Castle Hayne and very fortunate that we have these folks down the road. I have been there 5 times (in 3 weeks) and I have not only got everything I need, but I have been treated so darn well, I cannot even explain. But today was the pinnacle- we needed to change our license plates and there was no way I was getting the old ones off. I walked in and asked what I might need to do the job. Nick (the owner) immediately said I can handle that for you. He did both cars, two sets of plates, and did it with the most genuine kindness. He spent a good 40 minutes at it (again, I'd NEVER have got the job done), using a variety of tools in his arsenal. Product, smiles, and down home service. Who needs the big chain stores. You folks ROCK! Thank you.

Very helpful folks. Not huge like Lowe’s or Home Depot but had what I was looking for close to home and a lot easier to get in and out for what I needed.

Has most of what I need hardware wise. Knowledgeable employees are always available to help find things quickly. Firewood, plants, tools, etc. Great neighborhood store.

My wife and I recently moved here and live very near this store. From day one all of the staff particularly Brandy have listened to our issues and suggested fixes. The owners are very involved in the store’s customer service and really bent over backwards to get us a great lawn mower and demonstrated what we could do with it beyond cutting grass. It fits into our garage perfectly!

I have never gone to this Ace store without finding what I need to get my project completed. Very helpful staff, willing to go the extra effort to satisfy the customers needs. They're not afraid to think out of the box and make suggestions.

This place was awesome. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The store is a nice size too theu have everything. They need to get rid of that guy selling smoothies on their property, he was In a dpoefiend nod when we were there today scared us.

Cost a little more than the box home improvement stores, but the staff is much more helpful. They know where everything is in the store and are happy to help. I'd gladly pay a tiny bit more for better service

I work for AssistedCare At Home (providing home health and home care/companionship) and we reached out to this local store on a whim, to see if they had any soap on-hand and a few other supplies. Nathaniel was so generous and kind! He helped us get what we needed, took time to offer recommendations, and then thanked us for helping the elderly and disabled at home during this difficult time in our community. What a treasure to have these kind folks at our local Ace Hardware still trying to serve our supply needs and offer curbside pick-up practicing social distancing. Thank you!

Great prices on propane gas, friendly staff helped me everytime I've been there, last time, they helped me with several tanks, if you need anything for your yard, call them and ask them they always respond :)

Just left there. They helped me with a tool to fix my weed wacker.Got home and in 10 min it was running like new. Thanks for all the great help 👍

This is a great ACE Hardware. It's family owned and operated. They are the nicest group of people and always ready to help you. Have great variety of things. My neighborhood go to store. Excellent store.

We moved to Castle Hayne from a small town in Maryland. It is such a pleasure to have this clean and well stocked hardware store right down the street from our new home. The people that work at the store are very friendly and extremely helpful. I will never go to a big box store again and will shop here on a regular basis. I highly recommend the store to all in the area.

They pack an awful lot of needed hardware into one little store. It seems like they always have the item I need when I need it. The staff is 100% customer service driven and know their stock and location instinctively.
