We called Midas asking if they could repair a broken weld on our muffler. With no hesitation, Chris said sure bring it in today and we will have it fixed the same day. Chris had it repaired within 3 hours. He also inspected the other muffler and found a similar issue which he repaired as well. The price was very reasonable and all the employees I interacted with were super nice and very professional. Thank you so much guys!

I had took my truck to a competitor next door and they wanted to charge me an enormous price to repair my ac compressor; luckily, I went to Midas and spoke to Chris about my experience with their next door competitor. He was able to do my repairs for half the price quoted next door!! Midas won my business from here on!!

The guys at Midas Thousand Oaks are the best. They have renewed my faith in auto shops. Very thorough with the issues we had. The 2011 Kia feels much better now! So does my wife.

Amazing shop & great employees! Good mechanics are hard to find and great ones like these guys... damn near impossible. Needed to have mufflers tips that are welded straightened out after another shop put the exhaust back on crooked. Went to multiple shops around town looking for help at a reasonable price and Andy at Midas was all the help I needed. He had the issue fixed properly and in no time at all. Everyone I dealt with at the shop was super respectful, friendly, kind, and professional. I will definitely be coming back here again in the future.

Doug (owner) is fantastic and knowledgeable. He is the type of owner that will take that Dealership Wishlist (wishing to take your money) and let you know what NEEDS to be done, what will need to be done at some point, and what basically is a money maker for the dealerships. Very honest, great to work with, HIGHLY recommend them.

Jim is AMAZING!! He has always been able to fix/address my Mercedes Benz concerns. I get my oil change here every year and his prices are very fair. He keeps his business honest and always has customers coming in. That says a lot! :)

Was heading home 4 hours away for work the next day when my car needed an urgent repair- no shop seemed to be able to help. Called Midas and Doug (the owner) answered.
He promised to look at my car and call me with a diagnosis. Within 4 hours he had the answer, repaired it at an excellent price and I was on my way home.
Straightforward, honest, excellent service.
This place really stands out.

Staff and management are great, service is fast and accurate. I have stopped taking my F350 to the Ford dealerahips since their service is so below expectations. This experience was great!

I have been taking my cars here since 2003 (I think). I do not go anywhere else. Doug and his team are amazingly knowledgeable and efficient. It is difficult to find an auto shop where you can trust the evaluation of your vehicle. They don't try to upsell you, or try to do repairs that are unnecessary. They will prioritize for you the things that are necessary. There is never pressure!

Doug's the best and so is his team. My car's exhaust system was badly rusted due to spending years in Maine. I stopped by Doug's shop on the way home from work and explained my problem. He asked me to bring it in the next morning about nine.

I did and, despite obviously being very busy, they managed to shoehorn my car into their schedule and replace the rusted parts. Kudos and a tip o' the hat to Doug and his team.

I have been taking my vehicles here for years and will continue to do so. Doug and his crew are incredibly knowledgeable and very down to earth people. They want to provide the greatest customer service at a very reasonable price. This shop has gone above and beyond to really make sure all your questions will be answered and all issues with your vehicle are accounted for. I will happily refer anyone to their shop for honesty on what needs to be done, and for them to provide a fantastic product.

This was the best experience I have ever had at an oil change business. I Was greeted and taken care immediately by the owner. He was very pleasant and actually started the service on my vehicle. Did not try to push any repairs or services on me that I did not want or need. I will definitely recommend them and take my vehicle back to them for service.

Doug, Kelly, and the team at this location are the best! I have used them numerous times on my personal car, as well as my employer's fleet of 18 vehicles. I always get the best customer service, attention to detail, fair pricing, all while getting the job done in a timely fashion. I highly recommend them!

Honest efficient folks at this location. They got me in conveniently, got right to work on my vehicle, accurately assessed the problem, then took the time to explain the problem to me in detail using a printed diagram of the parts involved. They didn't try to add on anything unnecessary and the cost was standard for the repair. Apparently my wheel was in pretty bad shape but I didn't realize it. I initially asked if I could bring the car back In to be worked on the following morning. But they told me they couldn't let me drive the car off in that state; it would be too dangerous. Let me tell you- I believed him. I'm not sure if he was the store owner, but this man (whose name I regrettably have forgotten by now) is the kind of established, responsible, good citizen type person that you better believe what he tells you. There were no gimmicks, no shady business at this shop. I drove off feeling very safe in my well-repaired vehicle knowing that in the case of any future vehicle repairs, there was no question of where I would be taking my vehicle. Hopefully this review won't cause that location to become much more busy;). But if it helps anybody to not get gypped by a less reputable shop, it will be worth it.

Friendly and good general car service and repair. We do not use them for our routine maintenance but do for extras like belt repairments and other minor repairs. They can be busy but will work with you to get your car back ASAP. The prices are good and the results are also. Highly recommended.

Update: Mar 1st 2021...still the same great service as when I reviewed them 2 years ago. It is such a pleasure to deal with their professionalism and service.
