CLUB4 Fitness McKinney

CLUB4 is one of the best Olympic gyms PERIOD! I originally was a member from the Horn Lake, MS location, but have since moved to Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas. Club has a great gym culture and you will encouraged by others there to give it your all. DEFINITELY WORTH JOINING!!

This is my first and only Google review. The place rocks. The negative reviews are all some variation of "me or my family don't pay our debts," "the staff is cleaning too much," or "the staff doesn't clean enough."

If you're looking for an affordable membership to an enormous selection of serious, varied, and well-maintained equipment for cardio and strength training in a well-ventilated, clean room, you can end your search.

I want to mention Club 4 Personal Trainer Joe(Joey) Hickey. I've been a member of Club 4 for just over 3 years. I had never joined a gym until I had bilateral knee replacement. Since I didn't know where to start, I decided to work with a trainer. Joey asked me what my goals were and with his vast knowledge, steered me in the right direction tp strength training. I've never worked out in my life, but i know at 65 years old, I need it. Not only has my strength improved, but the education he has shared with me is invaluable. He sets goals and explains the path to get there. He always has had my best interest and safety in mind. One of the goals we set was to bench press 200lbs. I thought he was crazy. Now I bench press 200lbs! I've only been working with him for 6 months. Joey truly believes in his clients, showing respect and kindness. Listen him and watch your life change. As Joey says "Let's go"!!

The place is fantastic, the staff always greet people entering and exiting the facility, really have only personally interacted with Shane and Barrett and my questions were answered no problem. Even at peak times you can find work arounds if “your” machine/bench/squat rack is being used because the amount of equipment they have. I see many reviews complaining about vacuuming which confuses me because god forbid upkeeping the tidiness of the gym would inconvenience anyone working out yet the same people would probably complain if they saw a paper towel on on the floor instead of simply picking it up. It allows me to only give 5 stars but if I had to truly rate this gym, I’d give it 100 golden goose eggs 10/10 would recommend.

Great gym, lots of equipment to choose from. Kept up very well and always clean. Sometimes equipment breaks but they seem to get it fixed in a reasonable time. Members are respectful for the most part. Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership here but the GM Stephen made cancelling super easy. If they open a location closer to where I’m moving I will join there in a heartbeat!

Amazing gym. Love the kids club, the massage chairs, red light therapy, and the classes! The staff is nice and has fun challenges to do.

Great gym. There is multiple price packages and the equipment is top notch. There is a big variety equipment and its taken care of.

If you want a gym that isn't overly crowded with good amenities, this is the place for you. Obviously, in peak times, it is busy, but if you have been here, you know there is a loyal base of people that you will see regularly. In other words, "Big gym, with a small feel."

such an amazing gym!! love this gym! the employees are beyond nice and so welcoming! always kept clean and just in general a good environment. so many choices in equipment and love the woman’s room. besides some creepy people i’d say 10/10 ⭐

Pretty good gym for the price pay. Has everything you need and then some. The vibe is a bit antisocial - but that’s the vibe of most place nowadays since people have forget to speak to one another. But then again I’m old school and use to hit the gym in my early 20s before cellphones where people still spoke. But not terrible overall.

I love Club 4! It is so big and nice. I love the woman's only weight room. The classes are awesome. There are so many inspiring people at Club 4. I am so glad I stumbled across this gym a few years ago. It changed my life.

Good spot if ya have kiddos. They offer equipment for all levels of lifters. Come here all the time to get a lift in or go to one of their many classes and let the kids run around in the indoor playground area and play room.

It can get very busy in the evening and it's not as gigantic as some gym, however, it's a great gym to be. The equipment are kept in great shape, it's kept very clean, even the locker room and bathroom, which is rare, the stuff is very nice and always helpful, great trainers if you need one, and more importantly, the members are nice and have great gym etiquette. Great gym!

So far I’m loving this gym I love how it’s nice and open! I have the $35 membership with daycare and tanning! I’ve been using the tanning and love it I already have a nice tan after a week! I also use the daycare for my 3 year old son and he loves it! I just wish they would let them in the playground area the whole time they are in there for their 2 hour time! They are only open in the morning from 8-12 Monday to Sunday and then 4-8 Monday to Thursday! It would be nice if they could be open longer Monday through Sunday!

The manager Andrew is amazing. I had to call regarding a billing issue and Andrew helped me without hesitation. Andrew is a great guy and great personality to match. I love this gym.

We have 3 kids and the kids area doesn’t disappoint.

I've only been a member for about 2 weeks now but I've had a great experience so far! The staff is super nice and helpful. The gym is surprisingly huge, all new equipment and very clean, kept up. My boys go to the child center and have so much fun they never want to leave! Definitely would recommend it to anyone.

I absolutely love this gym. The gym has all the equipment I need plus much more. All the staff are friendly and helpful. You can tell that the general manager, Andrew, really dedicates himself to running an excellent gym facility with an awesome atmosphere. I see him involved everytime I'm there, whether it be cleaning, interacting with guests, or walking through to make sure things are running smoothly! Thank you Club4 for bringing McKinney the perfect gym!

Very nice and spacious gym with ample amount of equipment and not too crowded! Staff is very friendly and keep the facility nice and clean.

Enjoyed the HydroMassage at the end the very most. Very nice club spacious although concerning about the stations for cleaning and wiping down machines did not see one person wipe down any piece of equipment the entire time I was there which was today. Mask we know are optional but no one wipe down anything. Members stacked on top of each other extremely crowded. Understanding this was the only place open in the Metroplex. I would add more rolling paper towel racks to the club and spray bottles some people can wipe down machines a lot easier and more convenient. Planet Fitness has this figured out. Honest review will go back would love to feel safer knowing people are wiping down machines after each use which they weren't that was concerning..

Called to cancel my membership and front desk GUIDED me on how to do it online! Wow. Customer service even when you want to cancel. Gym was always clean, and staff extremely friendly. Wish I didn’t have to cancel due to moving. Thanks for all the reps!
