Staff are nice and pharmacy personnel are very helpful. The biggest problem is billing. Keep trying to get an itemized bill but unfortunately seems to be unable to get one that shows what services I am being charged for with cost. When calling to about a bill the amount of money owed changes between phone calls with different personnel. Their system shows I paid one time and then the next time no payments have been made. Having issues on getting this resolved other than I seem to owe more money for no further care provided.

I was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday evening with the understanding that my IV antibiotics would arrive the next day morning by FedEx. They did not arrive. Option Care delivered them antibiotics Friday evening about 6:45. Home Health came Saturday morning to show me how to administer the antibiotics. I had missed two doses of antibiotics. The next morning I administer the antibiotics. By Sunday I was starting to have pain and went back to the ER on Tuesday and have been in the hospital 9 days. I believe this second ER Trip could have been avoided if I would not have missed two days of antibiotics because of Option Care. I will not be recommending Option Care.

My husband was an Option Care patient. He had a TPN and PICC line applied bypassing the gastrointestinal system which by application is a prosthetic device. Based on my direct telephone conversation with MEDICARE they will pay for it. I tried to work with Option Care but they ignored me and before I had a chance to resolve the issue, turned my account over to a collection agency. Option Care accountants are not knowledgeable of this aspect and ignores you if you try to work with them. They are "know it all's" and are not customer friendly. I refused Option Care billing support for his second surgery and the new company didn't charge me anything. They were paid by MEDICARE submitting the charges correctly.

My grandfather was discharged from the hospital yesterday. Option Care was supposed to come out today to teach/show us how to give/administer my grandfather IV antibiotics. He is overdue for his IV antibiotics. We left several messages & they have still not returned our calls.
