Great dive bar. Staff is great. Show up 3 times and most of them will remember your order. Adam always takes great care of us. He has great jokes compared to Dann Puckett

Quaint little place , nice atmosphere, food grate & reasonable price , had A gumbo & Cajun jambalaya with lot of shrimp , grate sauce good texture & taste 👍👍if in the are worth the stop

I love old fashion bar you can belly up to & still light up at cigarette at if wish... You know like back before everyone became soft.

The food is delicious and the garlic bread is crazy good. Our waitress was knowledgeable and funny. Definitely will be going back. The atmosphere is smoky 🚬, so if you have breathing issues, order you good to go. You got to try the wings with the grilled seasoned onion rings. Amazing!!

When we walked in, we were told "this is a smoking bar, but the food here is phenomenal" and that was 100% accurate. Everything everyone in our party tried was fantastic, no complaints.

The chicken fried pork chop was recommended as the best option, and it is so good, you might like it even if you don't normally like pork chops. The grilled oysters are also top notch, but if you need a less adventurous option, the cheese fries have an excellent queso on there that will please the pickiest of eaters.

Definitely a great pick for some unexpectedly good food.

What a great experience! Came here for birthday lunch with my wife. No regrets. Fast service, amazing food, great prices, good music on the stereo. Just an overall awesome experience! Best of all was Todd, our bartender/server. He really made the experience great! Will definitely be coming back to see them, and enjoy another fantastic Po' boy.

Great catfish but have to find a new place because the cigarette smell is just not acceptable.

I went there on a Friday night with a friend, last night actually, for a laid-back atmosphere and a few drinks. The band Overdrive with playing. When we got there it was pretty chill and not a lot of people. It started to get crowded around 10/10:30. Ordered an appetizer of wings they were pretty good. The band was literally amazing? This is the first time in a long time I have ever been on my feet dancing during an entire band performance it was so good I can't even explain it. They are a cover band and they covered all kinds of music which I loved and they were just really good and they had a great chemistry together and really good music. Ended up being in such a great mood I ordered a bunch of drinks in my bill was high the server luckily was really nice and really friendly and helpful we even got a sample of a drink that he recommended in the beginning. First time there and the experience was awesome a really good crowd too.

Fantastic place for some good comfort food in the heart of Addison. My father and I like to frequent this please whenever we are in town on business. We like to play some cards and most nights they will open the door to the venue next door called Memphis. Note that smoking is permitted here, so if you are not a smoker your clothes will absorb the smell.

Live music every night. Excellent staff and bartenders who take exceptional care of patrons. Food is decent. It's a little bit of a "pick-up joint" but who cares...just dance your tail off to the band and ignore everything else. The music is what you are there for anyway.

An Addison staple. The menu is simple, and approachable. They are known for their oysters , which are procured from the best of the best suppliers in the Gulf. The entire menu has hidden gems. Don’t let the casual, local watering hole feel fool you. There are seriously amazing culinary delights to be had!
Go for any Po Boy!!! Bread is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside! (Rivals any Po Boy in NewOrleans.) My favorite is the blackened catfish Po Boy with cheese. The fries, ohhh the fries! You’ll throw rocks at McDonald’s! It’s a special secret salt made especially for THIS Shuck n’ Jive and Nowhere else.
The wings are OUTSTANDING! (Local tip)… Get the lemon pepper wings, it’s not on the menu, but it’ll change your expectations for wings! They are BIG and perfectly cooked. (Local tip)…Don’t ask for all drums or all flats, they are as perfect as wings get, honestly the best wings in Addison!
Honestly, a can’t miss menu that everyone will love!

I've been patronizing Shuck'n Jive and Memphis since 2000 and it's like my "Cheers"! The guys are GREAT! LOVE them ALL! And the owners and managers are also awesome! Great place to sit and socialize, anytime! And next door at Memphis they always have great bands and terrific "people watching" opportunities, lol. I love this place!! 👍🏻🏆

This place is so chill people are nice good location and the bartender/server BILL is amazing not only does he make the drinks but he attends on everyone of his customers and makes sure everyone is taken care of! Highly recommend! Nor just Bill but everyone at the bar location but BILL was my favorite 😊

Two thumbs up 👍👍. Where all the great musicians come through, great night life and awesome bartenders. Top 40 bands from hip hop to rock. Never a dull moment. Two bars connected: Shuck and Jive and Memphis. Kitchen doesn't close until 1:30 am. A must visit!!!

This place rocks. It's Cheers with a "Norm" and a "Cliff" and even a Lennie. Lennie owns the bar and is amazing. The stuffed shrimp was killer as was the red beans and rice. Drinking and a very diverse crowd. Live band every night and dancing in the aisles optional. I was pleased. Somewhat like the old "Hole in the Wall" before it burned down. Crowd is late thirties and up most of the time but the place to be in Addison. Waaaay better than Sherlock's or The Social Club for actually getting a bite, some drinks and some atmosphere. Great place with a lighter pace that those circuses. Servers were very attentive and likable.
