This vet is AMAZING! They have taken such good care of our puppy, rooster! They remember who our fur baby is when he walks in. When we had an emergency the doctor met us in the lobby and calmed us down and kept us updated every step of the way! So glad to have such an amazing vet for our boy

My senior dog needed a dental cleaning because his teeth were starting to smell terrible. I was extremely nervous for the procedure and went to 4 vets to get a feel on the facility and the vet who would perform the procedure. As soon as I came to Cityvet and met Dr. McGuire I instantly knew this was the place to go to! He was friendly and made me feel at ease. The procedure went well and my dog is 10x more happier. We are incredibly grateful for CityVet on Preston Park!!!!!!!

We have been taking our dogs for grooming to Jessica for around 18 years, so we followed her from North Dallas to CityVet when she started working there. It's a beautiful office, I really like the how the grooming room is set up where you can see in and how the dogs are kept in kennels in the same room she is. Not to mention, everyone who works there is very nice, and of course, Jessica is the best groomer in the city.

My little newly adopted Wheaton Terrier has had very traumatizing vet and groomers visits so we have been very cautious of where we take him. My husband and I could not be any happier with the service we received. Dr. Tucker is outstanding and was patient through all our questions as first time dog owners. Jessica the groomer was amazing, patient and kind with our little anxious boy. All the front staff and techs were friendly and amazing! This will be our vet for life and we will recommend to all who need one!!!

This place has a great staff, who are knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Tucker is always patient and answers all our questions patiently. They are very good about returning phone calls. They are open on Saturdays, too, which is very helpful.
The new location is more spacious and has lots of parking spots. The vet techs Elijah and Jenny are awesome!

City Vet Experience

People love their pets as if they are their own children. So, finding a good vet you can trust to treat your fur baby, and especially someone, who will not take advantage of your pocketbook.

Also, my husband and I have been searching for a vet who would be comfortable with our two big monsters, their breed called “Mastadors”. One weighs 169lbs and the other weighs 196lbs. Most vets were intimidated by these two gentle giants. After trying five different vets, we found our doctor!

We highly recommend Dr. Tucker at City Vet in Plano, Texas. He takes the time to consult with the pet owner, takes the time to answer any questions or concerns one may have about their animal, he is cost conscious and tries to recommend the lowest and best route possible to treat your baby. He is not afraid of my two knuckleheads and the staff at the clinic make you feel as if you are part of their family.

We are currently seeing Dr. Tucker who recently performed a 3-hour surgery on our dog Bodabear. Bo is on the way to recovery and Dr. Tucker has been very attentive to us and Bo. Calling to check how he is doing etc.,

Dr Tucker + team are FANTASTIC. Denise and Krysteen are so good at filling in for me and taking care of Tommy Petty while he is at the vet to visit them. Best veterinarian team I’ve ever had the pleasure to bring my baby to. Would recommend Dr Tucker to anyone looking for a new doc. The front desk team (Cameron and Emily) are super helpful as well, helping me to schedule visits, pick up meds and communicate for me when Dr Tucker is helping other furrballs. 10/10 highly recommend ❤🐱

Dr. Tucker is a great veterinarian. He spends extra time with his patients, and is excellent at communicating his diagnostic impression and treatment plan even with complex problems. His staff reflects his professional and personable nature. They are friendly, and I never feel rushed when I bring our dog for a visit. The groomers do an excellent job. Jenny, his assistant is wonderful. I’ve boarded my dog several times and feel confident that he is well cared for. My wife Debbie and I highly recommend CityVet-Preston Park to anyone looking for a top notch veterinary care.

Pet owners in West Plano can't throw a rock without hitting a vet clinic. So when I say CityVet Preston and Park is the BEST, that means something. We have three very pampered dogs and two spoiled cats that are patients here, and there aren't more capable hands we'd entrust them to than Dr. Tucker's and his amazing staff's. With five critters, there's always something going on with one (or more...) at any given time, and it is extremely comforting to know there's an entire clinic full of experts who genuinely care at the ready. One of our senior pups, Rupert, the Terrorist Chihuahua, hates having his nails trimmed. In fact, hate is not quite strong enough to describe the growling, teeth-baring and carrying on he does whenever it's time to tame his 1/2" long talons. When he was younger, there were clinics that actually refused to perform the service, that's how nasty he is in the presence of clippers. But at CityVet, they not only trim Rupie's nails, they are always happy to do it and give him extra doses of TLC while he's there. I can't even begin to tell you how much that means, and makes the entire detail SO much more bearable. Dr. Tucker also takes the time to answer all your questions, is wonderful about following up, and is never out of ideas when it comes to solving/managing perplexing health issues. Prices are also very fair for services and prescriptions, and even though I'd probably sell a gold tooth for my besties, cost does matters when you're talking vet care times five. Whether you're new to the area or looking to change vets, take your furkids to CityVet Preston Park. And tell them Rupert sent you :)

My cat had an issue that I needed to get your looked at for…emergency vet visits aren’t in the regular budget…from the time I called and scheduled until we walked out it was the BEST! Staff is super friendly! Didn’t try to sell extra services and communicated the entire time! Dr Ekols was great and told me how sweet my grumpy cat was! I’d give 10 stars if I could! Thank you!

Every time I’ve needed to get my dog in they’re quick to respond and have great service. Docs & staff are friendly and thorough, what else can you ask for…would absolutely recommend!

I brought my dog Bones in today for a first time visit as we just moved to the area. We both get equally anxious about his visits, but the staff and environment here were calming and welcoming. We arrived early and they checked us in and got us into a room immediately. This is a big plus, as Bones gets nervous around other pets.
Our technician Jenny was efficient, knowledgeable, and reassuring. Dr. Cody saw Bones in a short matter of time. He was very warm and took the time to answer all of my questions. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Bones and I are very grateful for the high level of compassionate care that he received today and we will be back for his future needs.

Great place to groom you dog if they need some medicine to be groomed. My dog hates his paws touched so got kicked out of another grooming spot that didn’t use medicine to calm the dog while grooming.

They are great! I have been using Dr. Tucker and his staff for my three pets for over six years.

This has got to be the BEST Vet we have come across. Every visit is exceptional. Dr. Tucker is great! The grooming service is great too! Everyone is great to deal with and is awesome with the furbabies.

We've been with them for a little over a year and see Dr. Tucker whom we LOVE! He is super sweet with our pups and so great about educating us. We never feel like they're trying to upsell us on anything. We strongly feel that he only recommends lab work/imaging that is truly needed. We've come to Dr. Tucker for both our wellness and illness needs. Highly recommend this CityVet location to anyone.
