Bela's Cafe

Almost always get the same sweet waitress. She keeps your coffee hot and full and food arrives pretty quickly. Their pancakes are amazing.

First time here, stopped for lunch with friends.
The place is a little dated, (that's what gives it it's country charm), plus the food and service are amazing!
I would highly recommend this place, and if their breakfast tastes as good as the lunch did, I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong.
P.S. the fries were the best fries I've had in years.

Very friendly server. Got the stuffed pepper soup and a buffalo wrap which was delicious. I will be returning.

We had a great experience at Belas cafe. The food was good and plentiful and the prices fair. We got a steak skillet, biscuits and gravy, kids pancakes and a veggie omelet. Coffee got topped up fast, the owner stopped by for a word and overall a great location for breakfast. We will be back if we are in the area again.

Four of us had a breakfast meal for lunch today and it was delicious. The service was fantastic and very friendly staff.

Clean and brightly lit dining area and quite large. Breakfast served efficiently with decent portions and ingredients. A nice steak and egg breakfast option at reasonable price. Very pleasant servers and an overall friendlly atmosphere. On street parking might be hard to find during peak times but was easy at 10 am on Saturday.

Fantastic local diner. You know the kind of place... Skillets, pancakes, French Toast, omelettes... Every town has one or two. This is the better of those in Oregon. Delightful service, frequented by locals mostly and tourists/campers on the weekends. Exactly what you want for a quick, tasty, clean bite to eat.

It was so good! The food was yummy and filling! They seemed very busy and understaffed but the employees were still working so hard! Would recommend coming here! The prices were also very pleasant!

Bella's offers great food at amazing prices. Based on the menu I was not expecting my meal to include so much. I ordered their roasted quarter chicken special which was about $7. The menu said quarter chicken and choice of potato plus dessert. For this price that's what I thought I would be getting just chicken and potatoes with ice cream or pudding as the dessert. I was quite pleasantly surprised when the meal was a quarter chicken served over delicious stuffing with green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. And the dessert was a half a slice of pie - I had the pecan which was overflowing with nuts. What an amazing deal!

Was in town as I had to swing by a local welding shop to get a trailer axle repaired. While I waited for the repairs that morning I decided to swing by and give this place a try as I always enjoy trying and supporting local cafes instead of chain restaurants. My server was excellent, she was a very nice lady and very professional. I believe I ordered french toast and a side of eggs/regular toast. I had quick service and my food was served hot. The food presentation/quality was excellent thanks to the great cook who was working, and it also tasted great! I absolutely will come by again if I ever am in the area! Highly recommend! Thanks for the excellent meal and keep up the great work! I hope I get to pass through town again sometime soon!

One of the best breakfast I've had in years everything's fresh and you can taste it. The atmosphere is more upscale than you would expect from a diner. The music and extra touches add to it.

Belas cafe. Boy when I tell you this is the best establishment in Oregon IL I mean it. The lady that took are order just brightened me and my buddies days. I will be back for sure along with my buddies. Long live Bela

Arrived in the morning for breakfast with friends in the middle of a storm. Atmosohere was pleasant and the staff very friendly. Great food! As we got served the power went out for a couple of minutes, staff didn't miss a beat. Great place!

Driving through Oregon Illinois looking for a place to eat and we discovered Bela's Café. It was a great experience. Delicious food. Warm atmosphere. Friendly people. Amazing pie. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

The Chef was Outstanding!!! The Omelets we had were Delicious!!! So tasty good... after a Big Night of Drinking!!!

Immediately received a greeting upon entry and were served exactly how you'd expect from a dang good diner!! Delicious and reliable. We hopped over here because we were completely and entirely ignored at Ogle County Brewing on Memorial Day.

Belas is an amazing place to eat. I have never tried something that I did not love!!! My entire family goes here to eat. And a lot of our friends. Great staff, amazing owners an all-around great atmosphere. 10 out of 10 would recommend
