Old world charm, in a quaint, old style Italian restaurant. The menu is straightforward, the specials are always changing, and the food is always incredible. I recommend the house dressing on the salad, and all the pastas are stars! But if you can get there when they have the Steak Pizzaiola, it's worth it!

The food was fantastic. The service was just ok , It took forever to get our bill about 40 minutes .

A local favorite that also makes a great destination for the out-of-towners. Traditional Italian cuisine in a quaint and charming atmosphere. I tried the Lobster and Shrimp Pescatori for the first time! Perfect! And don't forget to ask for the martini menu.

True fine dining in our local area. The food was above & beyond excellent, the soup was to die for. The steak, the seafood and pasta were cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!!

We always like coming here, especially for birthdays or special occasions like Mother’s Day. We were there just last Friday and had a fine meal. Good service and great ambiance. The server was very helpful, and the specials are always interesting!

My husband & I came to La Vigna for a late birthday dinner. The food was delicious, especially the fettuccini rose & chocolate martinis! We had a little issue with our gift card and Violet was extremely kind and provided amazing customer service in getting the issue resolved. Thank you! We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed the small town, personal dining experience.

My only complaint is that I'm so uncomfortable because I couldn't stop eating! Everything was excellent! I'll absolutely be back.

Went back there for the first time in years a couple weeks ago and had a fantastic dinner. Great for the kids as well. They had a new butternut squash soup that was absolutely the best I've ever had. My wife had oysters as an appetizer and she said they were very fresh. Overall a great experience that I recommend to anybody looking for a night out that won't break the bank.

My daughter dined here a couple months ago and promised me that my craving for fine Italian pasta would be satisfied if we dined here so we drove about 50 miles to check it out. From the moment we walked in the door the service and food was a 5 star experience. The entire staff is in continuous motion striving to provide the best customer experience I rarely experience when dining at so many other places. Kim was our server and was a true professional and very personable. The Fettuccine Alfredo w/ chicken was delicious. I have La Vigna on my list of favorites and will most certainly support this establishment in the future. It's a hidden gem and highly recommend other folks give it a try.

Food is spectacular. Ambience cozy and comforting. Dinner conversation is easy with subtle music in the background. Easy parking. Unpretentious. Everything A+ Will be back for sure. Worth the drive.

If I could live in a cot at the restaurant, it would only be second to a Caribbean Beach. Out of the way but soooooo worth it.👌🏻❤👏

Everything we tried was beyond fantastic- I will make it a mission to try everything on the menu, and then go back and do it again! It was full but we could still hear each other, which is something I important if you like your tablemates. Hard to find great food and ambiance, but here it is. We'll be back!!

I can't say enough good things about this little restaurant. It is not what you expect to find in a small town in rural Illinois. The location is peaceful. The building is quaint and well decorated. The service is very friendly. And the food is better than most Chicago Italian restaurants costing twice as much. It is out of the way, but well worth the destination. You really should take the time to check this place out.

La Vigna is one of the best restaurants in the area! Both the food and the service are excellent. I've never been disappointed with anything I've tried. The menu has pasta options as well as meat and fish dishes. They have great daily specials, also. Their soups are amazing, though if you prefer salad their house Italian dressing is also very good. They have a full-service bar with great wines and cocktails. Dessert options are all good, though their fresh sorbet (flavors vary often) is my favorite. I recommend this place all the time!

Consistently the best restaurant in Oregon, Illinois. Cuisine served in an intimate, yet casual, setting. Authentic Northern Italian food made fresh daily. (They make their own stock.) Professional, friendly wait staff. A little pricey for a small town but more than bargain by metro standards. Never, never had a bad meal in more than ten years of going there.

A hidden gem. The Hacker-Pschorr heffeweisen, the gorgonzola dressing, the salmon, and the ambiance -- all exquisite! I shall return.

I am using my wife's google account but I ate at La Vigna last night while in town for business and I have to say that I have NEVER had a better Italian meal for as long as I can remember. The hospitality was amazing thanks to Violet and the owner spent 30 minutes of his time sitting and talking to me and making sure my dining experience was to my liking. If I could give La Vigna more than 5 stars I would. I will be back in a few weeks as my business requires me to be there.
