Vet Partners Edina

There aren't enough words to write in a single review to express my gratitude to Dr. Ruff and her staff. In February, my poor pup went through a traumatic injury that left our family spiraling with decisions, ER visits and multiple sleepless nights. I was referred to Vet Partners in Edina from a good friend of mine, who assured me I would get the best care for my sweet LUCY. The rest is history. From the moment I stepped foot in the clinic, I was welcomed with comforting staff that instantly made me feel like my fears were over. For the first time (out of numerous vet opinions/visits) I felt like my voice was heard. Dr. Ruff immediately offered a level of care I hadn't experienced elsewhere. A decision for surgery that was weighing heavily for a month, was made clear in a day.
To Jake, the most awesome vet tech, thank you for making surgery day so comfortable and safe. Your kindness and confidence made the worst day into a better one.
Alexis, my post op warrior, I left knowing Lucy was prepared and comfortable. Thank you for making the transition to home life easier!
To the amazing receptionists, thank you for making my numerous phone calls and questions feel painless. Lucy and I loved meeting all of you and getting hugs (both of us) that we definitely needed.

My dog has met three of the vets now, and they’ve all been terrific in working with him and working him in for urgent needs. Although this location is further from me than others, I am so glad to drive a little ways to make sure he gets the care he needs in a relaxed environment. They’re really great at educating and helping me understand what my dog needs.

As with any pet care, prices can add up. But VetPartners offers the option to pay a monthly flat rate to handle all care. This came especially in handy with a puppy. Even though we moved further away from this location, we continue to return as they've always provided great care and advice.

I cannot express how grateful I am to all of those at Vet Partners Edina. Not only have they provided quality preventative care and customer service to my pets over the years, but have come to the rescue when my dog has needed emergency care. They have been kind and supportive to me and my pets all while delivering the best vet care I've ever experienced. Thank you to everyone at Vet Partners!!

I cannot say enough good words about this clinic. I have been coming to Vet Partners in Edina for 9 months and I will try to summarize my experience (and include a photo of my dog because that’s why we’re all here):

- As a first time pet owner, there’s a LOT of information out there. I’ve also heard of several people having poor experiences with vet offices “shaming” them for not making the “right” choices. None of that here.
- The entire staff (phones, front desk, vet techs, office manager, and vets) are incredibly friendly. I’ve never had a poor interaction with a staff member.
- I’ve seen multiple vets, and they are all great. Dr. Daney, in particular, is wonderful about having open, honest conversations about your pet’s care while still letting you feel like you are making the decisions—a skill! Beyond that, I had to take my pup to an out of state vet and ER clinic while camping in Colorado. When I got back to MN, at my next visit, it was clear she actually read the notes from the other vet and discussed them with me.
- Prices never seem out of this world to me. Granted, I’ve only been using the puppy plan (worth it) and haven’t had major issues, but everything feels reasonable and transparent.

Overall, I’m just really pleased. It’s nerve wracking picking a vet for your fur baby and trying to make the right choices, so it’s nice to have an easy experience.

Truly the best vet clinic in the world. My husband and I moved away from Edina a few years ago, and while we changed our own primary care physicians, our cats’ healthcare remains the same because they’re just that good. Everything they do is marked by compassion, care, kindness, and transparency. And they’re so communicative! I’ve had some instances where I’ve emailed photos in a panic asking if I should be concerned about something or another, they always respond with empathetic and honest answers. Also, when we walk in holding our three cats, they’re genuinely excited to see them all—warms my heart!

I’ve referred three friends here thus far, and all of them have said it’s been a marked improvement from issues they had dealt with elsewhere and that they’d be returning here for life. If you’re in search of a vet that will make you feel safe and secure about your animals’ health, this is the place.

So happy I made the switch to Vet Partners Edina! I received some tough news about my French bulldog and Dr. Daney even asked how I was feeling during my appointment - she sat down and explained everything going on with my pup. The appointment was not rushed and I felt educated on what’s going on when I left.

I cannot recommend Vet Partners Edina enough for anyone who has a pet that might be a little anxious to go to the vet. They have plenty of resources and advice for anxious dogs, and they are always extremely kind. All staff care so much about the needs of each unique dog and their family.

I am so appreciative of Dr. Ruff & Sarah's kind & compassionate care for my cat's first visit, and answering my questions so thoughtfully about how I can best care for my cat. The clinic is a wonderful environment! Thank you, Vet Partners.

The staff is always so kind and seem to really care about what is best for the pet. They do not push you to buy extra things like some vets and are very transparent about costs and what they are doing. My dog is actually excited to go in and get all the love from the staff.

Most caring and loving clinic/team! They always have my dogs health as top priority and always give the most loving & professional care. In urgent medical situations it's always handled with kindness, care and high priority. Also taking care of me as well as a concerned dog mom! Highly recommend Vet Partners! You all are the absolute BEST!

Our first time to this clinic was with a very sick dog that came out of nowhere. Turns out she must have eaten a poisoned rodent that found its way into our yard. They were amazing at helping us get set up with everything she needed before they closed including holding a bed at the emergency vet for us if things went downhill. Saved us tons of $ not having to hit the after hours emergency vet. After using the same vet for over 20 years I decided to try them for regular veterinary care and SO HAPPY we did. The staff, processes and the facility are great! I have never left there feeling rushed out and my questions are always answered or referred to someone who can. The follow thru is amazing! Loved my previous vet, but this place is exceptional!

My cat Louie is such a special member of my family and the doctors at vet partners in Edina have been so good with him, specifically Dr Carlson and other doctors and staff, Louie is getting older and vet partners truly cares about him and me and it really shows, thank you vet partners

Very professional and caring office. And they are letting owners into the building with their pets now so I feel my pet's anxiety was reduced. Dr. Groth took very good care of my cat, developed a good treatment plan and made sure I was comfortable with it. Knowledgeable and made me feel confident. They were also able to get me in earlier than initially scheduled because her condition worsened. Highly recommend!

I want to mention too, I used to go to a different vet, and the prices were more affordable, but I did not receive the level of attention/empathy, and time I get from this office. The customer service is exceptional. I'm emotional when it comes to my pets, and these people get it!

VetPartners has always taken very good care of my pets. They always do their best to accommodate making appointments to get them in for their care. The care plans are affordable and I would highly recommend them.

They were very patient and listened to all of my concerns. They were free of judgment and very good with my cat. I highly recommend this vet office!

Started our pet journey here when they could get us in for a same-day emergency visit for one of our pets. We have gone here for at least 2 years now and have never experienced a more kind, caring, and compassionate vet clinic for our pets. We've had major emergencies with our animals and they have been there for us through it all. They even sent us this beautiful hand-drawn card after the loss of our beloved dog. I've been taking GusGus and Ozzie to Dr. Carlson for a couple years now, I absolutely will not go anywhere else. The care and attention my dogs get is the best I've ever seen. There are vet clinics much closer to me but they don't have the amazing team from Edina! Thank you for always answering my questions and checking on my dogs after their visits.

I have a dog with several autoimmune issues, both with digestion and bones. The VetPartners staff (even front desk when I call in) know him, respond quickly and are compassionate partners in his care. Their monthly preventative coverage plan saves me a ton of money as well. Very happy with my service.
