Top notch public course and amenities! Course difficulty matches the same level fun factor: A LOT. This gem has beautiful manicured fairways and super soft, bouncy greens. Tons of elevation changes; careful tee shot placement; and a solid approach game will all come to play on this course. RTJ has some competition!

Holly and Frankie were fantastic, we had a such a great experience with them, would highly recommend hanging out with them, so much better than the guys from the pro shop

I've been wanting to play this course for a while now but it never worked out when I was in the Birmingham area. I finally was able to play today. Unfortunately with all the rain they've gotten in the area recently the course was very wet, cart path only. I enjoyed the course but I'm sure I would have enjoyed it much more if it had been dry. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I will play again.

Had a tee time yesterday but we were running late and called pro shop to let them know. Casey in the pro shop couldn’t have been nicer. He fit us in when we were ready to play. They were having an outing as well so they were very busy.
Also the staff in the grill was extremely nice and accommodating.

Great golf course, the clubhouse is beautiful. We've had a couple of company functions here, a golf tournament and our annual Christmas luncheon, and each time it was very enjoyable. The staff are polite and accommodating, and everyone thought the place was gorgeous.

One of, if not the best public course in the state of Alabama. It is always in great shape and the greens in the Winter time are perfect. Very challenging from every set of tees and four of the five par 3's are the toughest around. Practice facility is top notch, with bunkers, 3 greens and plenty of fresh grass to hit from. Don't skip lunch either. The food is a little pricey but the quality and service match the price.

This is a great atmosphere for Business Meetings or Impressing anyone. The surroundings and views are spectacular and the food has to be tasted to be believed. It is well worth the money to enjoy this literal 5 Star dining experience.

I can’t give enough positive praise to Liesel and her staff in the Food and Beverage department at the Timberline Golf Club. I made one initial call to inquire about a reception following my Father’s funeral on 3-13-2020. Once I conveyed the preliminary details and let her know i was planning everything from Texas, Liesel assured me that I no longer needed to spend my time fretting about the reception, as I had so many other things to take care of for the funeral. She literally handled every detail for me and created a beautiful environment and a delicious buffet for our family and friends. We were all welcomed with open arms and kind words. The experience could not have been better. Thanks so much.

Excellent golf course that in great shape. Convenient to I-65 from Bham or Montgomery. Staff is friendly and professional. Pro shop well stocked. Excellent practice facility also.

This is a very nice course. I would rate it a little less than Farm links and Limestone Springs. To me very close to Ballantrae. I really enjoyed this course.

Club staff second to none. The course is beautiful and challenging enough for all levels of play! Post-round, enjoy great food and beverages in the clubhouse.

Great food, great service, and great atmosphere...nice views of the golf course while you eat lunch...all of the food I've had there is great and I've tried most everything.

Great course and friendly people. Little bit of a drive but well worth it.
