I've been going to Mahan Creek since I was a child. I tried a couple other places as a young adult & NONE of them made me feel as comfortable as the staff at Mahan so it wasn't long before I returned! Dr Mahan was 1 of a kind & I believe Dr Mendez is doing a great job following his footsteps of not only good practice but also very friendly & welcoming! All ladies in the office are WONDERFUL! Again I remember some from my childhood & when some first started. They have always kept that place running like a top & welcome everyone with a smile!
Did I mention the facility? WOW! Most beautiful office surrounded by beautiful Mahan Creek! If the staff can't keep you calm the Creek & surrounding nature will! I hate the old building burned, but the new one is top of the line, state of the art & just as unique & beautiful as the first!
I cannot say enough about every aspect of Mahan Creek Dental! The people, their skill & ethic, to the land & building! If I have my way, I will never change Dentist's again. Oh did I mention I drive an hour+ just to go there!?! It's well worth it in everyday!

Dr Mendez is a wonderful dentist. He's skilled and knowledgeable with a wonderful customer service attitude. Always friendly and ready to listen. He is a perfect replacement for Dr Mahan. The entire staff continues to be skilled, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. They always greet you with a smile and keep updated with their patients. If you're looking for a new dentist, Mahan Creek Dental is the one. I've been going there for 40 years. The office itself is an experience with a most unique style, nestled in the woods with the creek rolling by. Going to the dentist isn't normally a favorite thing to do, but this place has a relaxing atmosphere that makes it a visit I actually look forward to. The staff and Dr. Mendez are very friendly, professional and use the most up to date equipment and procedures. I highly recommend them to be the place for you and your dental needs.

I came in for my 6-month teeth cleaning M.6.7.21, and everything went very smoothly, start to finish. Brandy did my cleaning, and she did a great job. She was very professional, and her work was excellent. Start to finish in a very
reasonable period of time. No pain, which is important to me as I get older. When Dr. Mendez came in, we discussed several things, and again we completed the checkup in a reasonable time period, while covering all the bases. Always love this dentist and staff. Had a dental emergency. They worked me in, took care of the problem, set a treatment plan, while being courteous and friendly. The views from the treatment rooms are awesome and the building is beautiful and very clean and well kept. I love this dental practice!

I would recommend this place to everyone the atmosphere was just wonderful and I want to thank each and everyone that took care of me. Y’all were the greatest. The staff were very friendly, polite and courteous. Katie explained everything as she was doing it so help keep my anxiety down. Dr. Mendez did a very good explaining everything also. I was very comfortable with the care I received. Would definitely recommend!!

Wow! What a friendly and welcoming dental office & practice!! We switched to this dental office for both convenience and our current dentist was retiring soon. The staff could not have made this transition any more smoothly for us. And this included my 2 year old who had only been to a pediatric dentist for cleanings and ckups! From the second you walk in, you are immediately at ease and comfortable. The staff is just amazing and the office is breathtaking, as it sits right on the creek. I never get nervous when I have a dentist appointment nor do I dread it. They're the best!

Mahan Creek Dental is all that one could hope for in an office devoted to dentistry. All of the members of the Mahan team are competent, dedicated, and knowledgeable about their tasks, and all are pleasant as well. The setting for Mahan Creek Dental is so unique- a log cabin fronting a thoroughly modern facility surrounded by Mahan Creek. I have been a patient there for more than 40years . Always I have received excellent care . There is a very professional staff who treat patients with great care . Dr. Mike Mahan , founder of Mahan Creek Dental, recently retired from active practice but not before hiring an excellent replacement in Dr. Mendez, who is currently accepting new patients.

I’ve been coming to Mahan Creek Dental since I was a junior at Alabama College in 1963. Except for my military service, this is the only practice i’ve used. I’ve had fillings, extractions, implants, crowns, and repairs to broken teeth from a motorcycle accident. My teeth are cleaned regularly by Crystal, the world’s best and happiest dental hygienist. She’s always a pleasure to be around as are Amy, Katie, Kristie, and Sandy. Completely professional but also close friends. Dr Mendez exudes a feeling of confidence and competence. It’s a great team to work with. A complete family atmosphere.

First off everyone knows that a dentist office is the last place you want to be at but if you need to go you couldn't pick a better dentist office than Mahan Creek. The staff are great and attentive and the dentists are top notch. Just had a root canal and despite the horror stories this didn't hurt one bit! Seriously!

I always feel very welcome on all my visits. No long waiting after appointment time. Very concerned about getting fitting correct. I have confidence in Dr Mendez. I would recommend Mahan Creek Dental to all my friends.
