I was thankful for Dr. Karich who was able to work on a tooth of mine that partially broke while eating. He was able to repair the tooth and eliminate the pain without a cap or crown. And in my other visits to his office, my teeth did not feel like they had been worked over with a jackhammer when his staff has cleaned them. I was 40 years old when I discovered teeth that felt beat up following regular cleanings did not have to be part of routine care of your teeth! Lastly, in the early part of the pandemic I felt safe at his practice.

We have had a great experiance with dr. Karich. Another dentist said my husbands only option was a root canal but dr karich was able to save the tooth with a filling. Even if we had needed a root canal it would of been half the price of the other place. All of the staff are very nice. Ive also had my teeth cleaned there and have no complaints.

Thank you for the prompt and friendly help. I had a tooth which had chipped and doctor got me in within a few days of my phone call. Even changed the initial appointment time when I had a conflict.
Wow!

Been going to this dentist for many years since back in the early 2000’s. Did a great job back then. Was personable, explained things well greeted when entering the room and saying good bye or have a good day when leaving. The last few years he has become a very unhappy man. Antisocial, when mad his work is shoddy at best and extremely sloppy fillings. Recently he caused quite a lot of pain for my husband and he is still in pain because Dr Karich did not undo his mistake correctly. His father Anthony Karich would be so disappointed and is probably rolling over in his grave.
I think it’s time for him to retire from dentistry and find something he enjoys in life.
We are switching to another dentist in the area. Our lives are important to us and want to stay as healthy as we can which includes our dental health.
The entire staff are wonderful and I assume they put up with a lot of his moodiness. They are saints for sure.

Dr. Karich seemed like a friendly person when I first meet him, however, things did change quickly after doors were closed. After being seated and what seemed to be 25 minutes, he came into the room and immediately started looking at my mouth. No warning or nothing! Just started talking about his thoughts on my teeth, honest thoughts as well. Pulling the side of lips far apart for a "better look" and flicking his fingers at my teeth to see if they are strong, OUCH! I felt so comfortable throughout my session with Dr. Karich that at some points when he would leave the room, which he did a lot, I just wanted to run away from the room and never look back. All I wanted was a friendly check-up on my teeth, but all I got was discomfort, soreness, and pain! NEVER GOING BACK

I apparently am forced to give him a star at minimum. Dr. Karich tried to tell me that my 8 year old son was already developing cavities in his PERMANENT teeth that he hadn't had for more than 2 years, despite a perfectly clean bill of dental health at the previous checkup about 8 months before. BACK STORY: At that previous check up, Dr. Karich applied sealants to my children's teeth without asking me first for approval. I found out after their visit that he had applied them. For health reasons due to a neurological disorder that both of my children have, as a necessary precaution as advised by their neurologist, they should not be exposed to unnecessary foreign substances and environmental influences as anything could potentially exacerbate their symptoms. Painting a "sealant" with ingredients unknown to me on my children's teeth without my permission got me a bit upset. I informed the receptionist that in the future they needed my consent before putting any substance in my child's mouth. Fast forward back to our most recent visit, where they clearly didn't remember or record why my children weren't supposed to receive sealants or fluoride treatments, nor did they even listen or care. Their main concern seemed to be selling me those sealants. They didn't care one bit about this jargon I was spewing about my poor special little children's brains. Dr. Karich insisted that my son was halfway to cavities in his permanent teeth since I was not allowing sealants. He must have also forgotten how he sealed my son's teeth just 8 months earlier without my permission, and I know those sealants aren't applied more often than every six months. So, theoretically and technically, his teeth having been sealed at his previous visit, if he was so close to cavities then wouldn't that mean the sealants don't work?? Plain and simply, he tried to scare me into doing the sealants, most likely to pad the bill to public aid, not expecting that THIS public aid recipient is rather educated and intelligent and also SUSPICIOUS. I asked for him to show me the evidence of decay, he bumbled that I would not be able to see it - he could not show me what he was claiming to see. I have been scammed by a dentist or two in my day, so I'm wise to their rhetoric of fear. The kicker: JUST TO BE SURE, so as not to unfairly and unnecessarily revoke what little sugary foods I allow my children to have on occasion, I took my son to another dentist for a checkup without telling her what Dr. Karich had said. She reported all was great, and my son's teeth were impressively well kept. I asked if she was concerned about any decay or evidence of potentially developing cavities and she LAUGHED and told me his teeth were the best teeth on an 8 year old she'd seen pretty much in the entirety of her practice. I recommend to Dr. Karich that he concern himself with practicing moral dentistry and not with robbing the system.

I scheduled appointments for my three children six months in advance for a day I knew they were out of school for convenience. With less than a month's notice, I was called and asked to reschedule so the dentist could attend a conference and I accommodated and scheduled on a day my husband could bring them in. Due to the school not dismissing my daughter on time, snow and a high volume of traffic for the school's Veterans Day assemblies, my husband was running only a few minutes behind their appointment time. I called and was told they would only hold the appointments 10 minutes. He arrived 12 minutes late and they would NOT honor the appointments. I will NOT be rescheduling their appointments and am utterly disgusted that after I accommodated their need, they were NOT willing to do the same for me.

I was never given any information about the work being done. I always had to ask an assistant after. It wasn’t until my third visit that my reason for going in the first place was even addressed. I thought they were the only place in town so I felt obligated to go there due to my low transportation options. Karich made me feel more and more uncomfortable with each visit. He would make comments I found to be belittling and my last visit I walked out in tears. I know my teeth aren’t perfect and if I could afford frequent visits I would make it happen. I didn’t even go back to get the work finished because of how awful he made me feel.
