The Maine Beer Cafe

Before heading home, we stopped by The Maine Beer Cafe after our weekend adventures with the family. We would not typically pick a bar atmosphere for our family but the food posted online looked really good and we just had to try it. There were not many people working so even though the service wasn't super fast, we knew the bartender was going as fast as she could. We were in no rush so we were just enjoying relaxing after such a long day. We ordered a variety of food and I have to say it was absolutely amazing and incredible in every way possible. The buffalo chicken wrap was fresh and absolutely hot hot hot. The classic burger was really juicy topped with cheese and tomatoes. Everything was super fresh. We enjoyed chips and cucumbers as sides, which is a nice change-up from the typical eatery. Their main side choice is potato salad. Great selections of sides. As for the atmosphere, the inside is small. Mostly bar patrons filled the bar area. The crowd appeared to be very local and close knit with the staff. It was nice and clean. The bathroom also has a very interesting appeal with many decals that decorate the walls from different beverage companies. I would love to visit again should I find myself in the area.

I would come back to Maine Beer Cafe in a heartbeat. The location is a lot of fun with outdoor seating, jumbo jenga, and corn hole. If you are visiting with friends and aren't a beer drinker they also cater to others with Margarita and Bourbon flights. Not to mention, the food is fantastic for a beer cafe. I ordered the bacon gouda dog which was covered in crisp bacon and mouth watering cheese. I give it a huge thumbs-up for the snap-casing hot dog, rare to find in New England.

Awesome place. HUGE selection of beverages: many beers, even more bourbons, and plenty of ciders, soda, cocktails.... The food was delicious and the service was prompt, pleasant, and personable. Enjoyed everything about this place.

I absolutely loved my first experience here. Lobster roll was loaded with deliciously sweet claw meat, a lot of claw meat.

Great vibe, food & service from Jamie. Went on Wednesday, which is trivia night...place packed indoors & outdoor seating area. Seafood is directly from a local seafood company...fresh off the boat. Thursday nights are $16 lobster rolls...what else is there to say? Awesome find on my journey to cool places!!

We had stopped in for a quick dinner before going grocery shopping and got lucky that it was a Thursday and they were doing 16$ Lobster Rolls! Jamie is the sweetest! She made us feel right at home at the bar. We can't wait to go back.

We had such a wonderful time at this restaurant! The atmosphere is casual and fun. 100% recommend the margarita flight!!! It was amazing! The pretzels and smoked gouda cheese sauce and burger were so delicious! Definitely check this place out! So worth it!

Great place to drop by. They menu is great including the $20 lobster roll which is as good as anyone else in town. The Beer and cider selection is fantastic. Lots of local options you won't find other places. You can take home a mix and match 4 pack. It's a great spot to sit outside too. I highly recommend!

I haven’t tried the food yet... yet being the key word because I definitely plan to come back. I had a flight of NEIPAs that were all great! Bartender was very helpful, knowledgeable, nice the entire time. Everyone has masks. Outdoor seating was enjoyable even though it was 90 degrees. Awesome happy hour specials as well

Good location and fun atmosphere. Cool promotions and food specials. Ample beer assortment. Friendly owners and staff. Kind of a sports bar vibe. Reasonable prices. It would be better with more space, but that's true of many fine establishments. We'll be back!

Such a cozy environment! My food was amazing- I had Their Mac and Cheese and a chicken taco! the owner was really friendly and helped suggest some nice places to explore nearby!

The food was amazing and the beer/cider selection was great! Definitely make this a regular stop whenever we are in the area. Highly recommend the nachos and Mac and cheese!

Can’t say enough good about my favorite local hangout! Welcoming & friendly atmosphere. Owner/Dave and his staff are great at what they do and they are beyond just being cordial, it’s a genuine feeling of friendship extended to everyone that walks in the door, A+++

Super cozy little spot near the outlets with an incredible beer selection and excellent food. Seats about 25-30.

Busy night and there's a solo guy literally bartending, taking orders, seating people, and bringing out checks. He brought me an appetizer, two drinks and my food, all within 30 minutes. Excellent service. Good beer, burgers, and appetizers.

Great place to eat and have a few drinks. They have a good variety of beer and cider and an extensive bourbon list. They also let you order a mixand match flight, you could have beer and bourbon together.
The food is very good and the service is excellent. I'll definitely be back.

Seems like a local spot. Great food and service. Really fun place with an inviting atmosphere. Had an incredible lobster roll for 19 dollars. Mostly sweet claw meat
