COV Edina

I have been to the Cov a few times but decided to write a review for this visit.

The Cov is a great place for lunch as well as dinner. It feels both modern and tradional at the same time. It can definitely get busy and wait times can vary but once you get in its worth it.

I ordered a cov burger while my partner ordered the lobster roll. We didnt see anywhere on the menu that indicated included sides so we ordered truffle fries. When our meals arrived both had fries so we got twice the fries.

Both meals were delicious and exactly what we expected. We also got great drinks. They were able to customize easily.

After the meal we got the smores brownie ala mode. It was huge, so it was good to share. Even then we didnt quite finish. Desserts are definitely HUGE so be aware.

All in all, Cov is a great place for a date or business meal.

Bright airy place to stop in after walking around the Galleria. Everything we have ever had here has been good! Great bartenders making fantabulous drinks as well!

Always a great experience here. I am a transplant from CT and it like many higher end New England establishments. It is priced about the same, as well, so check their menu prices on line before you decode to bring a date. A good bottle of wine, two entrées and a shared dessert for two usually drops between $250 and $300. It is well worth it. Everything is always prepared perfectly and the portions are pretty generous.

We have found another great place to eat when we go to the cities! The food, drinks and service was outstanding! Eating here is a must.

Food is creative and excellent! We started with the brussel sprouts and I’d highly recommend that. There are many seafood options, although we ordered chicken and ribs this time and those were delicious. We were so full, but I plan to dive into the dessert menu next time. I, at least, remember that key lime pie was on there. 👌🏼

Drinks are top notch. I ordered the old fashioned with “half” sweetness and they nailed it. I heard wonderful things about the Pink Lady too, so I can’t wait to go back. Plenty of mocktails on the menu that sound amazing!

Service was phenomenal. Our server was patient, kind and informative. Ambiance is also really great. It’s calm, classy and clean.

The French onion soup is the best; seasoning was excellent. The crab dip had wonderful chunks of crab.
The crab cake and the fig walnut salad with goat cheese were amazing. My wife and I split the lunch
Lori was an outstanding waitress. She knew the ingredients.
Finally the key lime pie was huge and share with four of us. Sooo tasty!

Andrew and Sarah. They were amazing, came to MN for a client and did a quick lunch stop at this place. Sat at the bar. Fun environment, great atmosphere and the food was very good. But those 2 at the bar.. they made it happen!! A for Attitude, great personality! See you soon I hope , in this life or the next. Cheers

We had a large group at Cov yesterday (12) and I was so impressed at how well they handled the table. I have never seen a restaurant handle a group like that so seamlessly — food was well-synchronized, coffee and waters regularly attended to. They even split up the check several ways without breaking a sweat. I would definitely go back for a larger group like this. The staff was also kind and knowledgeable about the menu (had some questions about gluten free for one of the diners). Food was good, but service is what really impressed me.

I went during happy hour, great menu options. The menu is different from wayzata‘s. I ordered a margarita pizza, oysters, and the California roll. My cocktail was a pink lady. It had Prosecco and grapefruit juice with a rosemary garnish.

Such a cute spot! Each time I've come has been an excellent experience. The servers are always friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the wine and food selections. I happen to stroll in on a Saturday afternoon and to my surprise there was a happy hour as well as bunch in addition to the lunch menu. We opted to try a number of things on the happy hour menu. Loved everything but the Cov wings. They were smoked and you could taste the smoke flavor but something just didn't sit well with any of us. The bathroom was nothing special but clean enough to use without hesitation! Cov is a must try!!

Had some rosé champagne on my birthday this week along with the yummiest espresso martini! The drinks were fantastic and our waiter was great!

I went with a friend's for drinks and appetizers. We had the Lobster Guacamole and the Halibut Flatbread. The patio was great on a stellar day and very good service. We had a lovely time.

We both love chicken and waffles. If it's on the menu, we'll order it. Extra syrup. Well, we were surprised and enchanted by the offering of LOBSTER and waffles. Yes, you read that right. Lobster. That luscious crustacean beautifully seasoned, battered and deep fried, and sitting on top of some delicious waffles embedded with caramel chips. Slap Ariel silly! It was delicious. The chicken and waffles was tasty too. Our server, Doug, was great too. Very attentive and charismatic young man. We really enjoyed talking to him. We had such a good brunch.

This is one classy restaurant! Pricey but worth every penny. We recommend the the lobster guacamole Yummy 😋 the atmosphere has a sailors fresh seafood theme. It is always decorated festive. Can't say enough about this place. A must see to understand the classy experience!!!!!

Great date night spot! We ended up coming to Minneapolis for Mothers Day Weekend and decided to give this place a shot one night. Not only was the food fantastic, but the atmosphere and service were phenomenal. For the appetizer, we ended up getting the Pepperoni and Sausage Flatbread. For our entrees, we had the full rack of ribs and the Dungeness crab and shrimp Alfredo. Both were great. The highlight for me was the ribs though. Not only were they fall off the bone, but they were absolutely huge. We ended up taking half a rack home to eat the next day. If you're in the Edina area and looking for a great date night spot, give this place a try! We will be coming back whek we're back in the Twin Cities.

Cov never disappoints. Food and service were excellent 👌🏻. I got the root salad 🥗 and it was excellent! We will be back!

Brunch menu was bomb!! We split the avocado toast and french toast... portions are large!
Wait staff was on point and will bend over backwards to make sure you're happy.
Oh the complimentary roll is absolutely delicious!!

My wife and I arrived without a reservation on Saturday night, we were promptly greeted and shown to a table for 2 without delay. Our server, Nick was exceptional all throughout our dinner. We had what I viewed as a small issue with my meal, but the team went above and beyond to make it right. Nick and the manager, Dave?, we’re truly accommodating and professional. Great experience.

Had so much fun here because of Ben the bartender. Was fun to talk to and took care of us. Never missed an empty drink and was awesome with suggestions. A real professional! Can't wait to come back!

Love the Saturday morning Happy Hour. Very affordable apps with great non alcoholic drinks. Always a great experience.
