McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks

I dare can say that this is THE best seafood and steak place in Minnesota. Every ingredients are fresh and the foods appear to be cooked just right. I had Parmesan Crusted Flounder and my niece had Fillet Mignon. We are pretty particular with food, yet very satisfied.

Wonderful seafood and steak restaurant in Edina, MN. The dinner offerings are consistently good and the service is fun and excellent. We visit often because we live within walking distance

I am never disappointed by this place, I usually go with my grandma and the staff all know her (since she goes often) and it is very nice. I like to try a new seafood dish each time and the flavor profiles always work so well. The crème brûlée is great, and the chocolate bag dessert is super fun. A bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for.

My friend and I stopped by for happy hour on a Thursday evening, which goes until 6:30pm. Service was fine, self-seating at the bar but it was a little crowded. Ordered off happy hour menu and it was pretty good. Mussels- 10/10 (the white wine sauce was awesome). Fried calamari- 9/10, the bottom pieces were a little soggy. Blue cobia tacos- 6/10 they weren't bad, but the fish should've been the star of the dish and it was a little underwhelming. Overloaded with a lot of other ingredients that, in my opinion, didn't add to it. Cocktail shrimps- 9/10, large meaty shrimp, only ask, is a little more of the horseradish cocktail sauce. Overall good experience, happy hour menu is worth going back for. Only real knock on the place, is that I only noticed two individual bathrooms, for a place that big, could be problematic. 😕

We had a 5PM reservation & they got us right in even though we were a bit early. I highly recommend getting a reservation here.

The vibe of the restaurant is very classy, chill & cozy. Our waiter was excellent.

We both ordered Filet Mignon which was excellent but we were both disappointed that the meal only came with potato & if you want a veggie have to order it separately which just seems a bit greedy.

Both of our Filets were excellent & prepared as requested.

We had cheesecake for dessert & it was divine.

All in all a wonderful experience!

Fantastic food, ambiance, and service. My daughter formerly worked at McCormicks and wanted to have us go for our anniversary dinner. She set up a reservation and I was greeted with 'Happy Anniversary,' by the way hostess, Carly. Marissa, our server, was friendly and bubbly. We saw the Manager Aaron, and another server, Lois, from our previous visit with our daughter, which was the first time we visited. It was busy and hectic, but so nice to have a few words with Aaron, Lois, and Carly. I definitely recommend! The food we've had from the 2 visits has been phenomenal!!!!

The food was delicious and our waitress was absolutely the best! Quiet atmosphere and private booths for a romantic date night.

I think our servers name was Garrett, I might be wrong, but either way he’s possibly the best server I’ve had in my life. Extremely knowledgeable about everything from the wine list to dinner menu to the desserts, and extremely personable to top it all off.

The food was amazing, we had a lot of apps at our table and all of them were delicious. I had the Parmesan encrusted flounder and would 10/10 recommend. Whatever that pineapple dessert was we got talked into was out of this world.

Food was as expected for upper level steak house. What garnered 5 stars was the service AND the smoked old fashioned! I was hesitant to order as many places in town water it down. This was NOT and the smoke flavor stayed til the last drop! Thanks Graham for taking good care of us!

The atmosphere and service were on point last night. We were out celebrating birthdays. I forgot to take pictures of the appetizers ordered. But we ordered the mussels, tuna, oysters and the shrimp. All of the apps were soooo good. We ordered more mussels and oysters.

The main meals were melt in your mouth. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. My entree was the blackened crusted tuna which I would order again. It was awesome. My friend got the flounder and she ate all of it. We will definitely be back again.

It was a wonderful place, atmosphere, to meet my girlfriend's Aunt's and Uncles for the 1st time. We talked for 3 plus hours. The wait staff was perfect for the amount of attention and being personable. BTW, the Wild Rice Andouile Sausage stuffed walleye was delicious.

Great service! We enjoyed a bottle of wine, flatbread, fish and chips, and shrimp and grits.

There is nothing better than to enter an establishment and someone greets you with a smile. Emily was so friendly as she smiled checking our reservations. We arrived earlier than our reservation time and Emily stated “no problem I’ll be happy to seat you Dana.” We were celebrating our Anniversary. Aaron was a ball of fun. He and I had great conversation after we ate. The restaurant was beautiful with a nice view. Emily checked on our table making sure everything was to our expectation. Our waiter Ryan was nice and friendly as well. This was our first time here but I can promise you it won’t be our last. If you’re looking for a nice, elegant restaurant with great food, look no further this is the place to be.

Our server was amazing all night. Stacy was very helpful with all our questions and enjoyed suggesting options to us, in addition to being delightful to interact with over the course of dinner.
We went out for a date night and did make reservations, but we would have been perfectly fine without it.
Our order included: Tito's cherry mule, Flatbread and oysters Rockefeller for apps; then pan seared scallops etouffee on parmesean grits and a Certified Angus Beef top sirloin with mushroom and a side of asparagus. For dessert we ordered the classic creme Brule and the chocolate bag. The chocolate bag was larger than we were expecting and incredibly rich, so I would suggest only that one for the chocolate lovers, rather than both desserts for two!

We had a nice time here for our anniversary. Good seafood! Nice wine list options also. I had scallops & my husband had the Ahi Tuna. (Flown in from Hawaii every 48 hrs we were told several times). Sat at a quiet table on the side. Dining room was big, nice with high ceilings. I forgot to take a pic but I did take food pics. They looked better in person!

We celebrated our 19 year anniversary here. Service was great and we even got a personalized menu! Thanks!

Beautiful up scale restaurant, service was attentive, warm and friendly. Food was yummy and drinks are delicious with a plentiful wine selection. A little on the pricey for the proportions but worthwhile for the atmosphere.

A very intimate atmosphere, low lighting, candles on every table, high end but not intimidating.
The food was very good. We ordered some raw oysters that tasted very fresh and clean. The cocktail sauce is clearly fresh made and delicious. The entrees were very good, the sides and sauces that came with each entree were perfectly matched. The desserts were very good as well.
Their drink menu is extensive! Lots of options for anyone.
Our server, frank, was wonderful. He was polite and friendly and took very good care of us. He even surprised us with an anniversary dessert!
I am very happy we placed a reservation as they got quite busy! We will certainly be back again!

Fabulous restaurant experience. My wife and I had the salmon dish with Asparagus soup. Absolutely delicious. This was a new entree to their lunch menu and prepared with excellence! Our server was top quality. We also had a VP of operations come to our table to ask how we liked our experience. This is a restaurant with lots of class. We have eaten here many times and always with a very positive experience. We will be back!!

Mccormick is great for business or fun! Date nights are good too.

Food is always delicious here and the service is on point!

I love that it's connected to a hotel now, you can eat and than go to the lounge with DJ and bar on Thursdays! Not sure about the other nights.
