We had a very negative experience working with the Tapley Agency. We reached out multiple times earlier this year to try to add car insurance through them (they were already providing our home insurance) and received no answer despite multiple attempts to communicate with our agent. We ended up getting insurance through another agency due to lack of response.

Last year, we paid our home insurance via digital invoice but Tapley incorrectly set up the insurance bill this year to go to our mortgage provider rather than to us. Our first notification of this is when we were sent a past due notice, called to discover we had been assigned a new agent, who then told us this had happened. We obtained new coverage through another agency, but Tapley refused to work with us to cancel the existing policy.

Insurance agencies are supposed to make the process of obtaining insurance easier, but our experience with Tapley was that it made the process more complex.
