Arkan and his family are wonderful people! Aladdin’s Market is a gem in AA for any Mediterranean food items. It’s rare nowadays to find a small grocery store where you can talk with a friendly, knowledgeable owner who takes pride in the business. Prices are fair and quality very good - we come from Pinckney to shop here!

It was my first time going to any middle eastern grocery and it was a great experience. The owners are very kind and friendly. The place is packed with items from the ceiling to the floor, so it could be overwhelming if you don't know what you're looking for, but the owners will help you find things you want, explain things and answer any questions. Also their homemade toum was great!

I was looking for yellow peas for a long time, found them and other awesome groceries in this store. The owner was extremely nice. Store itself is quite big and clean. I would say it's not only Arabic store it's definitely international. I will be back for sure.

This is my go to place for the least expensive and highest quality dry goods, oils, spices, pickles, nuts, canned beans, cheeses, and prepared foods. Though mainly Middle Eastern, its span extends from Morocco to India, all within a small store run by the kindest man.

It’s the ONLY place to get pita for me in Ann Arbor. He gets it bi-weekly from Dearborn. Grocery store pita is only good for composting.
They also have good homemade food such as hummus, taboulli, mujadra, etc. Aladdin’s also carries fresh feta, a small amount of produce, rice, teas, awesome cookies, dates, candies, and more. Super nice family. Check it out!

I love this place!! The owner is a wonderful soul. He has made so many suggestions concerning foods that I was unfamiliar with and everyone has been outstanding. I am a repeat customer because of the owners kindness and the outstanding food selection.

They have a really wonderful takeout counter. If you are lucky, you can catch the owner or his family alone and they are very helpful and friendly, usually it is bussier than you would expect with a lot of neighborhood traffic.

Their garlic sauce is probably our favorite in town - they also have the cheapest haulomi cheese in town.

Such a cool little market! Family owned and operated, it had a very personal, friendly feel. I personally enjoy foods from all over the world, and this is a convenient stop for Middle Eastern fare. I especially enjoy their prepared foods counter with grapes leaves, hummus, meat pies, garlic sauce, and kibbe. The sweets here are very popular, and the selection of pickles is awesome for a smaller shop. I've never even been to the Middle East, but I have come to appreciate the wonderful food, and am happy to have such a market locally.

This place has become my go-to for all meat sources. Excellent meats! Anything I cook turns out so much better with their meat! Highly recommend! Very helpful staff!

You can find large selection of Turkish product which I believe much better quality than middle eastern products.

this place has great prices and selections, and a lot of good basic foods. i didnt expect such a diversity of products, and many of the foods they sell here are both cheaper and better than what's available at supermarkets. the deli food is delicious and home made, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. much of the stock is preserved/dry goods, but they have meat, dairy, eggs, and produce for general needs. some of the reviews are quite critical, but i think aladdin's is a much better option for groceries than rite aid or the liquor stores nearby. i am not sure whether most of the imported brands are good since they are not familiar to me, but the things that i did purchase (shawarma, falafel, jajik, dates) were tasty and reasonably priced.

We’ve been coming here for years. We always stock up at the deli counter-best grape leaves ever—everything is amazing. Lovely family owns this business-you may get to meet the kids on a Saturday when they’re in helping mom and dad. A secret treasure in Ann Arbor.

Friendly and helpful staff. The hummus/jajeek etc in the prepared section is always good. This is my go-to place for Middle Eastern groceries.

I love this Middle Eastern grocer. The owner is friendly, and always has a good supply of natural laurel oil soap ($5 for 6 bars). Alladin's prices are extremely competitive, and a good deal for the normally expensive Ann Arbor. Highly recommended if you are looking for typical Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food or non-food items. It's the best place I've found on the West Side. I'm looking forward to trying their hummus next time I go.
