Brighton City Police Department

I'm a home care RN and while dropping off a lab specimen for a patient at the brighton health center I managed to lock my keys in my car. I called the police station and asked if they do lock outs. I found out they do!

They were there right away and were able to get my car unlocked. Before I called them I called a few towing companies and it would've cost me 120.00 for the service that they did as a public service! They were professional and friendly.

I had to give them a few pieces of information for safety and truthfulness but that was it.

I have always found the police here in Brighton to be quick to respond and as fair to all parties involved as possible.
Also, I enjoy an occasional 3am or 4am lone walk around town and feel completely safe doing so.

I saw the story on the $200 fine for the person using vulgarity! Thank you to the Brighton PD for protecting children!!!

I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THE FACT THAT ON 11-20-15 AN OFFICER ALLOWED 3 TEENAGERS & MY 20 YR OLD SON LEAVE THE MJR MOVIE THEATER PARKING LOT KNOWING THEY HAD JUST SMOKED POT IN THE VAN THEY WERE IN !!! MY 20 YEAR OLD SON TOOK THE "WRAP" AS IT WAS HIS MARAJUANA, A MINOR OFFENCE SINCE IT WAS $50 OF POT ILLEGALLY OBTAINED BUT ALL THE KIDS WERE STONED ~ INCLUDING MY YOUNGER 17 YR OLD SON WHO I FEEL BASICALLY GOT AWAY WITH A CRIME !!! FORTUNATELY MY RESPONSIBLE 24 YEAR OLD ADULT DAUGHTER WITNESSED THE EVENT & TOOK MY 17 YR OLD SON IN HER CAR AND HE GOT HOME SAFELY ~ AND THE 18 YEAR OLD DRIVER WHO HAD BEEN SMOKING MARAJUANA PROCEEDED TO TAKE MY ELDEST SON & HIS GIRLFRIEND TO CONTINUE THEIR POT EXPLOITS BY DRIVING HOME TO HOWELL COS IT'S MY SON'S BIRTHDAY !!! THANK YOU MS. FEMALE OFFICER WHO'S NAME I DON'T KNOW YET ~ THANK YOU FOR "PROTECTING" LIVINGSTON COUNTY FROM DUMB STONED KIDS DRIVING RISKING NOT ONLY OTHERS LIVES BUUUT THEIR OWN !!! IF THERE IS AN ACCIDENT TONIGHT I PRAY YOU WILL BE PARTIALLY HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN !!!
