WOW!! Absolutely delicious. You want REAL sushi you have to come here. We found this place and we were in shock that we didn’t find earlier. Idk what else I could say besides that we have been to all sushi places around here & NOTHING compares. The owner was amazing and the food was amazing. They are opening another restaurant she told us.
We ordered Aries, Fancy volcano, Spider roll,
Orange chicken & fried rice, California roll, Tigers roll, Holy crab. Our favorite was Aries and Orange chicken & fried rice. But honestly they really all were so good. They also stayed open past closing time until we finished eating and we had no idea. Kind service and most of all the Sushi was like art work so soft and delicious & crunchy too. Thank you for a wonderful dinner (:

The sushi is so delicious. Fried rice is too. It’s the best around. They don’t use a ton of sauce on each roll like all the other places around

I love this place. First, I have to recommend the crab Rangoon it's the best I've ever had! I work next door and often run over to get a quick meal when we aren't busy. Eva always remembers my order and they are super quick so I can get back to work. It's super fresh and they give nice sized portions.

Very nice staff most have been there awhile. Good presentation and quality. Lots of food options and everything so far has been very good. Ordered a tray for Christmas Eve and food was very good which is not easy on sushi to go.

We love this place! It is our favorite for sushi! The food is delicious and the staff is so nice! Eva takes good care of us every time! Sometimes it's busy but what do you expect! Definitely worth the wait! 😉

New to Grosse Ile, so trying the restaurants here for the first time. Ume did not disappoint. This is the hibachi chicken take out, came with soup or salad. I got the miso soup and it was delicious. The food is so good. Fresh, hot and good portioning.

We love the food so much!!!!! What a surprising gem on Grosse Ile. The vegetarian rolls are really really good and so are all the other hot entrees we’ve tried. Definitely worth your while.

Their Buddha roll is so good! Love this place, everything is always delicious. Vegan friendly.

Very friendly staff, beautiful attention to detail on the sushi. Don’t forget to mention everything is so fresh. They do have beer, sake and select liquors.

This is my favorite dish of the restaurant. Their quality of service and food has greatly improved since they opened that I’ll start going there more often. Their owner is a sweet and her dedicated staff take their art of cooking seriously.

This was the BEST hibachi grill I have ever had! Five stars is not even enough stars! I can’t wait to go back to try the sushi. The sushi chef was extremely busy. Carry out orders were non stop.

The food is very good and the portions are large. The inside is very nice and clean. Definitely one of my new favorite places.

Very cute place on gross ille. The hibachi salmon was delectable. If I was closer I’d frequent it more.

There was a small child there driving a mini car. Super entertaining and friendly atmosphere

I fell and hurt my knee right outside 🙃 their restaurant and went in to wash my wound .Bathroom was out of order they didn't ask if I was alright and refused to wait on my disabled veteran husband and me

My order is always correct. The staff is always friendly.

The staff are friendly, the food is great. They are really creative with the specials, too. Hibachi items are ample, and the rolls are our favorite. Good for dine in, or carry out. Seating is limited, but we've always gotten a spot. Limited adult beverage selection, but decent sampling of beer, wine, and sakis.

Seriously sooooo good! My mom and I get sushi at least once a week and when this shop opened up we decided to try it out... the freshest sushi I've ever had! The staff is very nice and the sushi is to die for. It's also very comfortable inside and has a great atmosphere. Definitely revisiting!

Oh it has been too long since I had a spider roll! This was so good!

Just got done with the most delicious sushi, by far the best. I just call and Ava knows exactly what we want she is amazing!!! General Tao chicken is perfect just the right amount of spices and so juicy. The best Asian cuisine downriver by far.
