Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel

I rarely leave reviews but this place was a great place to stay. It has such a unique and almost homey feeling to it. I travel nearly 100 days a year and have stayed in a lot of places. Housekeeping here is phenomenal. I was so impressed I went looking for things.... couldn't find a thing. You can tell the detail the staff takes preparing a room. Even the postcards on the desk are perfectly hung . Rooms were great, bed is comfortable and I REALLY appreciate feather pillows. The decorations of the lobby and restaurant were also great. Interior design was really cool. The ONLY thing I'd wonder about would be staying on the first floor because the hallway ceiling was really low.... but maybe the height is different in the rooms. Overall, kudos to the owners and staff of the hotel. Clean clean clean!

Absolutely loved our stay. The service was great and the staff were attentive. We loved the design of the hotel and how clean everything was. Our rooms had the best hotel pillows I’ve ever slept on. Well done!

Very pleasant hotel with a fun style and warmth to it. I found the staff to be extremely accommodating. The room was beautiful. Comfy bed. Good water pressure in the shower. Excellent view of a parking lot. ;) The pool is awesome, but I would hate to get assigned one of the rooms that looks over it. The club is a nice, quiet place to get away from the bar crowd. The food in the bar/restaurant is actually quite good and well above what you might expect at a hotel. The $15 breakfast buffet isn't particularly noteworthy.

I really only have two minor quibbles: the bed pillows are huge and so firm they almost pushed up on my neck, and the HVAC unit in the room blares non-stop and can be distracting. You get used to it, but I have to think that machine is pushing out at least 70 decibels constantly.

Would gladly go back and spend more time in this pleasant property. Top marks all around.

This hotel has a whole vibe to it. Love the decor and the huge pool and hot tub. Rooms are a tad small but still nice. So glad hotels are getting away from carpet. Overall it was a great stay for us. We will be back!!

Stopped in to talk with the assistant front desk manager. He gave us a tour of the area. Love the decor and the feel of the lobby. Great pool area. The Prince pillows are priceless.

I was travelling from Chicago with a gal pal to go Christmas shopping at the Mall of America. We had a late check in after 11pm. The desk clerk was very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. He was also very informative of the local seasonal attractions.

We were there strictly to shop, so we did not explore our hotel and take advantage of what they had to offer, but, we did enjoy our room!!! the decor was contemporary and stylish, I really liked the artwork above the bed. The room was equipped with all the necessities, ie. fridge, charging stations, extra outlets, iron & board, hair dryer. They even provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower.

The room was very comfy, cozy, and VERY CLEAN!!!! I am the type to flip mattresses before I get in a bed, so I check EVERYTHING!!!!

It does take a bit once you get off the expressway to get to the hotel with all the winding roads you have to take to finally arrive, but, all in all, I would definitely come back and stay again, even with the little issues I had.

My husband and I loved our stay for our anniversary! The overall ambiance was lovely. It was very modern and cozy! The parking was free. But there was no breakfast included. There was free Starbucks roast coffee in the lobby each morning which I really enjoyed! Overall we had a great time!! 10/10 ✨

Cute and quirky. This doesn’t feel
Like your typical chain hotel. Even though it is a Marriott it manages to come off as a unique local hotel. The rooms are adorably appointed and very space is made up to look and feel like a winter lodge. Definitely a great place to stay.

Haley at the front desk was welcoming and kind. The hotel smelled amazing the moment you walked in. Very modern yet rustic decor which made it great and unique from other hotels in the area. Room was great, very clean, loved the NO carpet. I wish more hotels would do that. Had a great “MOMCATION” mom vacation haha

It was a very comfortable bed and very clean. Everything worked great. One thing, I could not find any music anywhere. You might want to ask for assistance. $23 For an old-fashioned.

Stayed here a few times now. Very clean property with a super helpful staff. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. I like to run and there are some enjoyable trails nearby. My only gripe is that they never had enough towels by the pool, but I was able to find some in the fitness area nearby.

The best hotel I’ve stayed at and it’s affordable! The fitness center was perfect the pool was sparkling!!! ❤❤❤ I don’t know if that is the way this whole chain of hotels are but I’m content with finding out. the customer service was excellent!! After checking in he asked if I needed anything I said no and he said please don’t hesitate to let me know if you need anything and I could tell he meant it

I travel to Eden Prairie for work on a regular basis and Renaissance Bloomington is the only place I stay. I am a light sleeper so I truly appreciate the quiet rooms. The staff are always super nice and the hotel’s location is perfect for work.

Nice hotel with awesome staff. Their rooms are very cozy and clean. I've stayed here a couple times now and it's always been nice.

I’m here half a dozen times a year for business and I always choose the Renaissance in Bloomington. It’s a great location away from the hustle of downtown with plentiful free parking. The decor is modern and feels Minnesota-themed. The rooms are spacious and quiet, with excellent blackout shades for sleeping in. The Lars restaurant has an excellent breakfast menu or buffet, but check it out for dinner, too. Local flair and great price points.

This hotel is really great. I got a good deal online. The rooms are clean and decorated nicely. I loved the bathroom, the shower was really nice as well, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Also surprised how quiet it felt like this hotel was. I don't remember hearing a lot of doors slamming and people talking.

I went to this hotel the night before enlisting in the Marine corps. It had great personnel all friendly people and helpful. It has a pool and very clean rooms. It is in a very convenient location close to all sorts of places in Minneapolis, St Paul. They have a gym, pool and hot tub for any guests in the hotel. They were kind enough to give us a wake up call and served us breakfast at 5:00 AM. I had a great time while I was only there for one night.

Had a great 2 night stay in this chic hotel. It has a cool mix of rustic and modern.

Very surprised at this place. The feel, smell and atmosphere very upscale. Large pool, nice hot tub and workout room. I'd stay there again for sure.
