Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bloomington - Mpls Arpt Area W, an IHG Hotel

Was shocked at the size and cleanliness of the room.
They had Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion all sitting out and accessible for use.
Nice just in case you forgot your own stuff.

Great service at the front desk.
Breakfast options were impressive.
There was a hot breakfast buffet set out.
Coffee, milk, tea, juice, etc.

Absolutely love their pet policy.
Pets stay for free!!
Which is very nice cuz some places want to charge you $250 mess deposit and fees... which is outrageous if your animal has any training.

Comfortable beds & a clean room. Front desk staff was confused on the final room charge & could not provide answers. Exterior doors were not locked, that was concerning for safety reasons. Left our cars there safely for 1 week. The airport shuttle was on time & the driver was very helpful with our bags & very polite.

For a 3-star hotel, it was clean, nicely furnished. The rooms had a good layout with a sofa area and the bed area divided by a half wall. The lobby and hallways were clean and stylish and the person behind the desk brought me a couple of bandaids when I broke a fingernail.

... and it is next door to a Trader Joe's.

Wonderful hotel with GREAT front desk employees! Every one of them were helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The shuttle drivers were kind and helpful, also. This hotel stay made my trip to Texas even better, as I could leave my car, have a really good complimentary breakfast, and be shuttled to and from the airport. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm in "The Cities".

Happy to give 5 stars to this hotel and the staff. After a canceled flight connection at MSP, I needed to book a hotel room very last minute. Before booking I called the front desk to ask a few questions about rates, the hotel shuttle, breakfast etc. and Brian(?) was incredibly kind and thorough. I especially liked this hotel because it was close to the Mall of America and across the street from a few stores and Trader Joes. In case I needed to stretch my legs or get some food before continuing my travels, I had plenty of options.

I booked the room online and called back as instructed so the shuttle driver would know I was waiting. The driver came as expected and was great. The temps were at or below 0* and he got out, took my luggage, loaded it up and got me to the hotel safely. At the hotel Brian, front desk supervisor, greeted me and had everything ready for my check-in. The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable for both my night's sleep as well as working the following day. Breakfast was as expected and an extra hour was granted for late check-out, which helped make my day even better. Thank you for helping to make an inconvenient and unexpected travel situation an enjoyable one!

We researched long and hard for a clean and fresh hotel with shuttle to the airport along with park and fly. Also, we are value conscious for price. This facility filled all those requirements. The only issue being a continuous traffic white noise from the very busy Interstate Highway 494.

Stayed here the last few days and Brian who works nights has made my stay so nice. Just a pleasure to talk to and made my night. Room is just as you expect at a Holiday Inn. Solid but never fancy

Brain is absolutely amazing! He’s very comfortable around guests very helpful and overall kind! Brain has helped us all night ever since we got here he made check-in super easy he was very kind and spoke clearly everything he said was well heard and well said. I really do recommend this hotel!

Clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. The shower was always hot. We loved the breakfast. Huge variety of different items. The breakfast had new items every morning for 4 days! The pancake machine makes a perfect short stack.
The service really stood out to me. Everyone from maids to Front desk were friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice breakfast well organized. The room well maintained. Customer service awesome. If you need the hotel this is the one you need to stay.

Overall great value for the price. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms and hotel were clean. Our room had a Keurig and K-cups. The full size Dove products in the shower were quite nice to have, as it ensured there was enough for everyone to use. We did not have any issues with other guests being loud at night. This was a family favorite, and we will likely stay here again when passing through on our travels.

Stayed here for four nights. I stay in a lot of hotels, and this was one of the most comfortable beds I've had. Breakfast was also great with three steam tables, so each morning offered eggs, egg whites, turkey sausage, pork sausage or bacon, and biscuits and gravy in addition to all the other shelf stable stuff hotels have for breakfast. Also used the pool twice. Very nice facility.

Great hotel. Clean, free breakfast is great. Only complaint is the toilet feels like you are gambling every time you flush… you aren’t quite sure if #2 is going to disappear or not…. I’m sure they are good for the environment, but nothing rooms the environment of a hotel room like a poo that won’t go down the hole. Super slow flush leaves you on your toes on if you got some explaining to do when you call the front desk… other than that fantastic place.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff super comfy beds with soft sheets, very clean room and a great breakfast. Our room was definitely a little older but no issues with anything and a great value

Nice location for this hotel. We were there on a busy weekend for the hotel. We also stayed on the first floor which should be avoided, if possible. Too much traffic in the hallways. Especially in the morning during breakfast. Free breakfast that was very busy every morning we were there on the weekend. They also have a patio out front of the hotel with some tables and chairs. The patio is partially shaded so you can be out there really any time of the day. It was used quite a bit by guests. Overall great stay for this location.

I stayed here while on business and I thought it was great! The location is nice and not far from much. Having a Trader Joe's across the street was really nice. The staff was good and the rooms were what I expected. Overall good stay!

This is a really fantastic Holiday Inn Express. We stayed using my reward night and ended up extending our stay for another night.

I did online check-in and received notice that our room was ready about 30 minutes later which was extremely quick. The receptionist was maybe new as instead of expedited check-in, she said I didn't have a reservation "go try a different holiday inn" I knew I was at the correct one so just asked if she'd check the already set out keys. She told me I was probably confusing this holiday inn express with the nearby holiday inn (non-express). I had to pull out my phone and show my reservation + the address before she would grab my keys, which were already set out with the other online check-ins. It was... uncomfortable.

When we got to our room, I was excited to see I had gotten a room upgrade for platinum elite status so Yay on that!! Our room was a king suite with walk in shower and we loved it. The separate sitting area had a couch, chair w/ottoman, breakfast table, TV, mini fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker, and cabinets. The bathroom was a standard sink+ shower with the vanity area outside of the bathroom area in the section between the sitting room and bedroom. Bath products are Dove brand. The bedroom was entirely separate and quiet as it was far away from the hallway - what a great way to set up a room! As always, holiday inn mattresses are just amazingly comfortable. I really haven't found another hotel bed that beats them. Even higher end hotels and resorts aren't as great as these. I'm only sad that the comforter seems to have changed. They are definitely not as good as they used to be. The bedroom was standard- king size bed, coat closet, tv, and end tables.
All rooms/areas were clean and comfortable.
We had the free breakfast both days. I love love love the pancake maker and the mini muffins. I had these both days. My husband had eggs, bacon, cinnamon rolls, an apple, and oatmeal.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone as on top of being a really nice place to stay, it's close to pretty much everything in the metro area and its reasonably priced with free parking.

Sommer was fabulous in getting us checked in expediently. They were so busy and we were a bit early. She talked us through it and let us know as soon as our room was ready. Very nice place to stay. Ànxious to see about breakfast in the morning.

We stayed only one night, we found a great deal and took it. Front desk guys from check in and check out were very nice although some other guests were kind of rude at one of them. The room and surroundings were really nice and clean. I did not like the breakfast menu but it's just that I'm a picky eater and everyone else seemed to be enjoying it so I don't think there was any problem with it. Overall was a great stay!!! 🤩🤩

Great place to stay, great service! The only downside is that they don’t have hot chocolate, but the staff were super nice.
