Apple Southdale

My experience at the Genius Bar at the Southdale Mall location in Edina, MN. was amazing.

I had made an online appointment prior to going (suggested, but not necessary but you may have to wait). As soon as I arrived I was greeted by associate by the name of Preston. He was amazingly kind, patient and knowledgeable. He worked on my phone for over an hour.
While the issue was not able to be resolved he was able to make an telephone appointment with the phone tech people for the next day, he also put a new screen saver on my device, picked out the right charging cords and at my request signed me up for Apple care and damage replacement, etc. If. If you see Preston, say HELLO from Amy. 🙂
Honestly, the entire staff is amazing!

I had a computer emergency a couple of hours before I was due to attend a wedding, and the staff at Apple Southdale graciously fit me in, appraised my computer, and got me to the wedding in time! William, who helped me, was awesome, as were his fellow coworkers. I felt genuinely cared for.

Had issue with my iPhone 13. Went to my cell provider first - they told me I will have to get a new phone.

I then come to this Apple Store (Southdale) and had a MUCH better experience. Apple floor rep that helped me was kind, knowledgable, funny, and helpful! He got me into an appointment with their technician within 5 minutes, even though the store was closing in less than 20 minutes.

Apple technician was very nice, smart, and again - helpful! She ran diagnostics and solved my issue very quickly!

Additionally, they gave me a new SIM tray opener for future use - for free!

Fantastic experience, will 100% be returning for any future concerns and products!

Thanks again for helping me right before store closing. You guys are amazing!

Wonderful the best Apple Store I’ve ever been too. The agent that helped me was amazing and professional just like Apple wants.

Had my iPhone SE 2nd generation battery replaced today. They got me checked in painlessly and promised me my phone would be ready in about an hour. Came back to the store about 90 minutes later and the same young woman recognized me, checked me in and sent me back to the tech repair table. I was almost immediately greeted by the same young man whom I had turned my phone over to initially and was told my phone was done and everything went as planned. They even had enough time to charge it to about 96% before I came to retrieve it. Overall I couldn’t be more happy with the process and knowledge of the people I had the pleasure of dealing with throughout this experience both here at Southdale and while on vacation in Southern California (not enough time to order the parts to have the replacement done there while on vacation).

Bought an Apple Smart watch as a gift for a friend at a very good price, good customer service, no waiting time, more than five minutes .

Friendly staff named Jaclyn helped and understood me easily. If you are struggling with screen protectors to put on your Apple devices then she will help you. I did not see any of bad customer service at this store today.

Sorry I forgot to charge my new phone for 24 hours before installing it before Tuesday, 7 February 2023😭 but all good, just worrying about if I did something wrong because she told me to charge it for 24 hours before installing, even though, it was full after I tested it.

Geoffrey does a stellar job assisting customers. I was in and out in 10- 15 minutes. Awesome sir😎😉👍

Great service at the Southdale Apple Store. I brought my '17 MacBook Air in for a new battery on Friday evening at 5:45 PM. I was told it would be completed by Sunday, which I was very pleased about. On Friday evening around 8:30, I received an email from Apple saying that the battery replacement was complete and I picked it up first thing Saturday. Excellent customer service as always. Thank you Apple!

Customer service is great here, they were able to solve my issues

Brought a 2013 iPod Touch (30-pin) in to get it un-bricked. Completely expecting the staff to look at me sideways, since I was bringing them such an antique so to speak. Necessary for my 2008 G35x, since it doesn't have Bluetooth audio streaming. Staff was terrific and accommodating! Never had a bad experience there yet, and this one was great considering they saved me from a life of radio 😋

I came in to get another pair of Air Pod Pro tips(original). I ordered a large pair only to realize the size I’m currently using is a Medium. Preston(I think that’s how you spell it) helped me out all the way through. Great employee!

Super efficient and helpful.
Answered all my questions about my repair. Dropped off my iPhone at 3:40pm and it was instantly repaired on the spot and ready for pick up at 4:20pm!! I was very impressed. ** Remember you need to make an appointment and you will be checked in. I appreciate their efficient, well planned customer service lines during the pandemic. I felt very safe. Plastic partitions and cleaned/wiped down after every customer visit. Way to go APPLE!!

Ive visited this store a few times now and my expectations have always been met and exceeded. I've had a screen replaced on an iPhone 13 Pro Max and work done on a MacBook Pro. Some reviews on here complain about getting lost in the mall or having to wait an hour to get earbuds inspected and fixed. I think these reviews say more about the people who live in Edina MN more than this store itself.

I worked with Mike yesterday and he was so friendly and helpful! He answered all of my questions on which Apple Watch would be best.

I also appreciate that this store enforces masks! There are so many people in there at one time and without that I’m sure they’d be even more short staffed with covid outbreaks. Glad you are keeping yourself and the community safe!

Tony, Tony was the man! We were buying a new phone and everything was going smoothly, but they had a minor malfunction in their system. It took everyone all the way up to the store manager to figure it out the issue.

After being patient on our end and them figuring it out after about 30 minutes they were willing to help us out.

We understand technology can be finicky and has its troubled parts, but overall was a very good representation of customer service!

We received the best customer service from the store. The agent was kind, extremely knowledeable and helpful. It was such a pleasure! My husband and I are quite thankful.

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience at The Apple Store at Southdale in Edina, MN. Every single person I encountered was very friendly and professional. I had to wait a little longer than initially told, but how can you predict exactly how long each repair will take. Communication was ongoing, so I was constantly informed with updates.

When I was being helped by a technician, another customer approached my technician to ask when she would be helped. He was patient with her and answered all her questions. She wanted immediate attention, but I told her it was worth the wait. I think she stayed.

Let's face it. Technical problems with our devices is very troubling. We feel helpless. But the professionals here make you feel important and "not stupid". That was a big win for me. Awesome job!

Great service. Associate was exceptional. He answered all my questions demonstrating clear knowledge of the products and spoke directly to my specific concerns. I felt he had listened and understood my needs. he built trust!
