Banana Republic

I was in the store yesterday to exchange a few shirts without a gift receipt or BR account tied to the purchase. Randi, the General Manager, spent 25 minutes of her day sorting out the return to ensure we received the highest possible value on the items and ordering the replacements. I expected the lowest price in the last 30 days or so, which would have been perfectly fine as we didn't have a receipt from the gift, and I was just hoping to exchange the items for a smaller size without much out-of-pocket. I walked away with the items ordered for home delivery plus a great shirt Randi helped me pick out for my partner, and additional store credit. The time, patience and kindness Randi showed was certainly above and beyond. I walked away feeling very appreciative of the great experience at BR. And of course, the store was prestinely clean and the displays were impeccable.

Overall, its fine. Spacious store, well stocked, clean. Staff was prompt to check on you when you enter. I do agree with the other reviews here that you do feel a little pressure to buy stuff from the staff. Trial rooms are neat. I like coming in her to feel the fabrics in person.

After a long day of wedding registry shopping we took a quick trip into BR to check out their suits as they were a potential for our wedding. Jodi in the front greeted us as we stormed in. As we were looking around she gave us honest feedback on the suits and when we might potentially be able to snag a discount (family and freinds). Jodi went above and beyond the call of duty and brought out the GM to help answer our questions as we were browsing the suits. A+ customer service and friendliness and A+ product knowledge as well. Will be coming back to BR @ Southdale!

Plenty of selection and exceptional customer service. There were plenty of available reps willing to help out, find different sizes, or start throwing try-on items in a dressing room for me. No wait to check out. They were also able to quickly locate items/sizes that were not in stock at other stores around the metro area. Located near Macy's in Southdale.

I live in a city where it's slim pickings for work wear
for women. I was in town and decided to swing through Macy's and was disappointed. On my way to another store I decided to stop into banana republic. I never really knew it as a place for formal business attire. Margie there was super friendly and helpful! She helped me find clothes that fit my body type perfectly! I will definitely be visiting the store whenever I have a need!

Took back defective items - no questions or excuses. Just gave me a new pair and sent me on my way. I'll continue to buy knowing they stand behind their products

Had a great experience with Jimmy and love the dreads. Very warm and helpful but not pushy.
