Cottonwood Grill

This is my second visit and am doing this review on location. And quite the busy day this Wednesday afternoon! Good reason it is wing Wednesday. My first visit I ordered The Poseidon wrap with duck fries and a peach margarita. The margaritas didn't disappoint as there was definitely a kick, but hardly noticeable. The wrap looked gorgeous and was very tasty and the upgrade to the duck fries...WORTH IT!! Super crispy fries and very tasty, they should sell them by the pound!! For wings today I ordered the spicy honey garlic flavored. The wings.....are......terrific! Ten wings and fries or tots for $10 on Wednesdays!!! Hope to see y'all here....cause I'm not gonna know!?😄

Update: We came here with a group of 10 to celebrate a birthday. Everything was fantastic!! The food, the service, everything!! We all left very happy, and our bellies were full!! Thank you so much!! Will be back soon. 😃

Normally I have no complaints, but the burgers tonight were way undercooked, and nobody can convince me all burgers are served raw unless the customer requests otherwise. We waited over an hour for our food, that wasn’t even cooked thoroughly. Very disappointing! And the service was mediocre at best. Hoping for better food next time!

I ordered the BBNU “Best Burger in New Ulm” and it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had before. Perfectly cooked, juicy and delicious. Great fries too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an amazing burger in the area!

Very good food and staff. The pizza is awesome. Best I have ever eaten. Well worth your trip. The only complaint is that this place is spendy.

Food is fantastic. Short staffed but who isn't now days we enjoyed our time together while we waited. No issues with anything. Power bowls are my fave.

Great staff, great food, and a great place for work related parties! I love their chislic app and any giant sandwich they have. The duck fat fries are seasoned so well that they're a must! The bartender/server always offers up a nice mixed drink to try to change things up and he's always very nice to my wife and I on every visit.

Had a fabulous meal tonight! Great food & drinks! It was busy, but the staff was great & handled everything very well.

Traveling through New Ulm, we happened upon this gem. I called to make sure we could visit and that it was not members only. It is open to the public and we were more than welcomed. We planned for take out as we had dogs we were traveling with. They let us know we could walk the dogs onsite while we waited for food. Food was great. Fairly priced. And beautiful setting. We will be back.

Great food and service, several different specials and freshly prepared menu items to enjoy any time during the year or after 18 holes of golf at the New Ulm Country Club.

The food was fantastic! I had the chicken parmesan sandwich and my hubby had the bison burger. Delicious! We also had the "duck" fries. The garlic spices were yummy! Glad we stopped there for dinner. Worth it!

The duck fries are amazing!! Everything from the time we walked in to the time we left was great. We will definitely be back!

Love the "new menu". Burgers are delicious, other options are great too. Definitely try the homemade chips. We have enjoyed sitting outside during the summer. Decent prices.

Nice restaurant by the New Ulm Country Club. The restaurant has nice views of the golf course and is near Flandrau State Park. The food is really good and reasonably priced. There is also a big back area for large functions or gatherings. Sometimes there has even been music events!

The Food is amazing! Their Chizlik is so good. Wait staff is very friendly and very accommodating. Prime Rib Saturday's are worth waiting for!

We had really good food affordably priced. There is inside seating with social distancing. The servers were very friendly and wore masks at all times.

My husband and I have always had excellent service and food here and have recommended The Grill to many when asked where's a great place to eat in New Ulm.

Wife: My New Ulm favorite! The cottonwood grill is the perfect way to spend a summer evening. We love to eat on the deck, enjoying the warm summer nights. I love their burgers and Goosetown beer. :)
Husband:. Seriously my favorite New Ulm place. I'm sharing the night with my Beautiful wife. Tuesday night special. Awesome food, $2:00 beers. Proof that God loves us is right here.

The poutine was to die for. Comfortable atmosphere to stop after our brewery tour.

Hidden gem of New Ulm. The food here is fantastic. You don't need to be a member to eat here. Good food, friendly staff.

Best place to eat in New Ulm. Can be busy but have never waited for seat. Wait staff is nice and get the job done.
