Plaza Garibaldi

A standard Mexican restaurant with above average food. The inside it warm and welcoming alone with the staff. I have never had an issue with any of the staff and attitude; everyone is very friendly. The food is typical Mexican-American and meets all of my high expectations. This is a good place to host large parties too. Here is some information from their website:

It was wonderful to revisit this old hangout from college while I was in town. They’ve really added on in the last few years with the outdoor patio. I had a wonderful lunch for a great value out there. Can’t recommend Plaza G highly enough.

Plaza Garibaldi is hands-down, the best restaurant in New Ulm! Love the atmosphere, great staff, absolutely LOOOOVE the food, cannot beat the AMAZING margaritas, and the value is unmatched!! So glad to have this spot in town!!

Great food that doesn't break the bank. Fast service that doesn't break your patience. And courteous to a fault that doesn't break your mentality🙂 Maragrita was tasty and made me wish I ordered a pitcher (just for myself!). Between the complimentary chips, the appetizer and enchilada plate I left with a looser (not loser!) belt.

Great chips and salsa (by far the best around that I've tried). Prices are quite good. Food is tasty and plentiful. It's one of our very favorites in the area. It's worth the drive out of town to have it.

I've eaten here several times and each time it's been great food and good portions! The staff is a bit chatty with each other but maybe it was because they were busy!! Would definitely eat there again.

We've been dining at Plaza for many years. Their food has allways been consistently hot, fresh and tastes great! Customer service is great and staff is attentive. Menu has lots of great options for adults and kids. My favorite go to meal is the Durango Special. Definitely recommend!

Excellent food! Great price for two!! Had a picture of margaritas and two meals for less than 50 bucks, plus had extra to take home!! The server was very funny and very respectful!!

Friendly staff as always!! Quick to sear us without a reservation. Quick, friendly service. Food was delicious as always also!! Highly recommend!

The veggie fajita was generous in portion and flavor. I especially enjoyed the grilled pineapple they added for me. The outdoor seating area was a nice option, but the flies can be an issue.

Amazing food and the waitress was so nice! First time ever coming this way and this was the first place we stopped to eat at and it did not disappoint, everything was so flavorful.

Food is always good here. Staff is super friendly. We do both take-out and dine-in both are fast service.

The best Mexican joint in town with a huge selection of entrees. Excellent service as well.

The tortilla soup here was delicious!! A generous portion topped with avocado & sour cream. I got a side of their homemade habanero hot sauce and - it will cure whatever ails you. Thanks Plaza Garibaldi! Until next time...

Seriously that place has been on fire the past few years. The food is so good I leave a huge tip every time.

Good menu with quality ingredients

Great food! Fast service. These folks don't miss a beat. Never thirsty and never hungry. They start you out with chips and fresh salsa right away.
Definite favorite spot.

The servers were fast, attentive, and friendly. The food was delicious. The chips were crispy and the salsa was flavorful and not too spicy. We ordered enchiladas, a chimichanga, and chile relleno from the lunch menu. All were tasty, though the enchiladas with ground beef were a little bit salty for our taste. Overall, we would go back again when we're in town!
