Family Dollar

As a general rule, I’m not one for non- dollar dollar types of stores. Let me tell you, the Family Dollar is like a maze of endless drugstore goodies at ridiculously low prices. I could spend hours getting lost in the minutia of the isles and endcaps. From the best prices in the state at times on Tide, to laundry baskets on wheels and pain relievers…..I’d say,take a monthly spin in and check out this concept for your household needs. FD carries some fun seasonal items that will entertain, make life more convenient and even keep you free of mosquito bites! Service has been cordial and hours are convenient.

Staff is always very pleasant. Find more than I need every time .

WORST place to work at. Management is poor. The manager, Carmen, changes the schedule to accommodate to her needs.. she’s late? She’ll go into the office make a new schedule that was changed to when she came in. Leaves early. Under staffed. Makes one person unload truck by themselves. The constant drama that occurs there is stirred up from Carmen. Always late from drinking the night before, gets drunk and texts you continuously. District manager, Yvonne is terrible because she makes up excuses for Carmen. Completely dismisses her actions even though within the first two months of working there while the store was open we went through 6 people myself included. Do not recommend working here and my
Business will be taken elsewhere until new management is found.

Turning customers away and closing early probably not good for business, especially a store that’s usually a quick stop
