I have been driving here since 2004. They treat me well. They work with me. I love my KW! Hopefully I will get another one with a manual transmission. Drivers give me a shout on the CB! They call me DRAGON 🐲 when they are not mad at me. Truck # 23574. Be safe drivers!🤪

Been with the company 5 yrs coming up in February.... I've been treated like family since day one... one feature I like about Schugel is our pet policy which include a dog on the truck. Thank-you J&R Schugel!

Good company to work for. Get you home when you need it. Plenty of miles to keep you rolling. Good equipment. Good customer and freight network. I see too many people complaining about this place. Honestly, nothing to complain about if you're doing your job right. Haters complain because they want to sit and not work. Be a go getter. This company deserves above 4 stars

I have worked for J&R Schugel for about a year and a half! I love how family friendly they are as a company, and how they genuinely care about their employees.

I’ve been working at J&R Schugel for a year now and since they are a family and employee owned business, they are always flexible when I need time off for family matters.

I drove with J&R several years ago and have since left the industry.
Every company certainly has positive and negative aspects but honestly this is a good company.
They treat their drivers well… the dispatch crew attempts to work with the drivers schedule and the equipment is generally nice and well maintained.
The only real negative is they run East a lot and there are toll roads they prohibit the driver from using unless the driver pays for it.
This is troublesome as it puts the driver on highways with numerous stop lights, small towns and Amish people to deal with.
But overall- a very good company and if I was still OTR- I would certainly work with them again.

Driver of truck 8009 on 15 heading into New Ulm today has been a phenomenal driver. The roads are glare ice and high winds and he has drove unbelievably well! Job well done driver! Tried to call company to notify them of the great job their driver is doing but was put on hold.

So far have no complaints. Everything is what I was told by my recruiter. Troy at safety was straight forward and pulled no punches. Orientation went very good. If you don't understand something, don't be afraid to ask questions. Update later when I'm with the company longer. Also want to give a shout out to the rest of the people at Schugel they took care of everything they said they would.

I love working for J & R Schugel. I get paid to see the beautiful country. My miles are generally good every week. I go home once a month for 4 or 5 days. My choice. You are the captain of your own ship they send me my loads and I don't hear from them unless I have a problem. Not really any complaints. If I had to give a con of the job I guess it would be weekend dispatch. They need more manpower but they bought super service so they are going through a transitional period

Just like any of their yards, vehicles get the maintenance and drivers get to unwind and relax! My favorite is the New Ulm Minnesota yard!

I've no complaints this far. Been here close to a year,and have loved working with them. Looking into buying my own rig and switching to contractor soon. I don't have any urge to go anywhere else. Cole has been an excellent dispatcher.

Just hit my 3 year anniversary this month and I have not one bad thing to say about this company I get plenty of miles and I have never and I mean never not got home on the day that I asked for. Cole keeps me moving and I always have a pre-plan or a load immediately after I send in my empty call.Plan on retiring with this company. J&R has treated me real well!!

We were an hour late for a strict appointment. Had a last minute truck repair but reciever took us is and we were unloaded quickly. J&R could have charged a late fee and didn't. They have high standards which we appreciate but were forgiving in this matter. We will do better next time.
