The Country View Restaurant

This is the kind of place my wife and I love. Friendly greeting when we walked in. Homey atmosphere. Food was very good and could get items you can't find elsewhere. Service was good. We will go back since we found it.

Really great food, really nice staff. Lots of fun specials, and a great kids menu. The only negative is that it's a small footprint, so tables can be a bit close and it can get *loud*. Will absolutely be returning.

My boyfriend and I love this place. Excellent food and always a friendly face serving you a warm cup of joe. Will always remain one of our fave spots to have breakfast in NH.

So glad to have turned around for this gem. Had a delicious scramble and they even had Gluten free bread for toast! Servers were attentive and friendly. Definitely will be going again!

This was the first time I visited in a while. Sometimes that's a good thing, and sometimes not.
This vist was great all around! Wait staff ( only one at the time) didn't miss a beat. She was not only timely in greeting me, she managed somehow to take care of the other guests as well. ( about 10 people in all). This is the sign of a real professional!
My food arrived in a timely manner and it was hot. She checked on me often to make sure my needs were met.
Planning to frequent more often.

Stopped for lunch on our way from Bar Harbor to Boston. Found this little gem. Cute and quaint cottage-like with fun diner atmosphere. Great diner menu offering breakfast and lunch items. Had the Eggs Benedict and Omelette. Both were great and prices are reasonable. Fun waitress and the owners were so nice and down to earth.

Cute family owned and ran breakfast and lunch spot. Normal size portions with good pricing . The owner was working with the team and made his staff appreciate him as part of the team. Great experience. Wish it was bigger inside. Will definitely be back.

What is not to love about the Country View?
Service is so quick and friendly, the space is so cute and they've expanded to offer outdoor dining on picnic tables while the weather permits!
I've been coming here for over 20 years and unlike a lot of staple restaurants, this one stays good!! I love being able to go somewhere and expectations meet reality.
Portions are substantial and taste freshly made, unlike a lot of other breakfast places where things can taste like they were frozen.
Get the pancakes!!!

I've been driving past this place for years, but today was my first visit. It won't be my last! The food was fantastic! The service was also fantastic. Loved our server. The atmosphere was charming. Highly recommend this little place.

Changed from my favorite breakfast here today. Usually get Cali Benny. Today I had the drunken mushroom omelet. Delicious combination of Swiss, mushrooms and perfectly ripe avocado!

My niece recommended this restaurant and was she ever right. It was terrific. I had a ham and cheddar omelet with home fries and sour dough toast which was EXCELLENT. My niece enjoyed the rt 33 special. We also got a Togo order that the waitress timed to be ready just as we finished our breakfast. The waitress was good at her job. She didn't rush us, she kept our drinks full and she was fun!

I had a terrific breakfast at this place today. Never been there before but I will go back. The food was excellent. Everything else was very good, service, atmosphere, but the food, oh my gosh. Yeah this is one of those places that locals know and visitors would love to find out about.
I recommend it for sure.

I had a absolutely delicious breakfast this morning. I have never been there it was a first time experience and I will go back next time I am in the area. There are many plaques on the wall stating that they have won awards and I could understand why. Your first impression when you walk in is that they are very friendly I enjoy that a lot the woman that took care of me was pleasurable to say the least. And very proud to be part of the staff she said she loved her job and you could tell that you did. My breakfast was two poached perfectly cooked over crispy well done corned beef hash exactly the way I ordered it and home fries with extra onions exactly the way I ordered those as well. The coffee was hot and delicious and one through 10 they get an 11 for me. Thank you for a great breakfast this morning! God bless keep up the good work!
