Dr. Marvin Im, DO

I've been a patient of Dr. Im's for over 12 + years. I feel he really listens to and care for his patients. It took me a long time to find a physician who would help me with alternative therapies and not just give me pills. I love his holistic approach and quick response time to my calls and messages. I highly recommend Dr. Im to anyone who is looking for a new primary care physician. Him and his team are the best.

Its not often we look forward to doctor appointments, but this is the case with Dr. Im's practice. The entire staff is welcoming, friendly, and very responsive. When you visit, its as if they're welcoming you into their home as a family member. Annual physicals are thorough - they measure and test for things beyond what most doctors ever consider. Results are presented in a clear and concise form with visuals and explanations, and results are tracked year over year to find trends.You walk away with a portfolio of information to reference which is so helpful.

Dr. Im cares about each patient as a whole person, not just a patient with a medical condition that needs treated by some insurance conglomerate's 'standard of care'. He is knowledgeable and takes the time to understand current medical research. He also takes the time to discuss conditions with you so you understand the implications - AND - he listens to you to understand how the condition impacts you personally. Dr. Im will work with you to create a plan of action which goes far beyond just giving you a prescription and sending you on your way.

Personally I deal with a couple of chronic, complex issues that lead to constant battles with inflammation. I joined Dr. Im's practice 3-4 years ago after being exhausted with having to visit multiple doctors, multiple times a year, with blood tests nearly every month, a host of prescriptions, and with the exception of one awesome rheumatologist, most of the docs just took my blood, my money, wrote scripts and sent me on my way. Dr. Im took the time to talk to me about the conditions, but also to discuss how lifestyle factors could influence the conditions both in good and bad ways. He encouraged me to make healthy choices, we talked about stress and mental health, he recommended supplements, and approached prescriptions only as needed. Bloodwork is far less frequent, however the testing d is very comprehensive which is invaluable.

The outcome of this approach has been phenomenal for me. Rather than just accepting that as I age things will get worse, I have marked improvement in key cardiovascular, hormonal, metabolic, and inflammatory markers. I've lost weight, and my chronic conditions are now stable and the most impactful condition is considered in remission. I feel better and am more active in my early 50's than I was through the entire decade of my 40's.

We have been patients of Dr. Im's for the past 10 years. Originally, we were just looking for a new primary care doctor for my husband. He's generally not a fan of doctor's visits, and prefers that I hang around, and I was surprised to be welcomed into his initial appointment so graciously.

We realized right away that Dr. Im took a lot of time with each patient and actually got to know them.

From that first visit to every one after, you never feel rushed, you never feel like you're being a bother or "overthinking" things.

I ended up deciding to switch from my existing primary care doc over to his practice for myself as well, and then a few years later, we realized he was a much better fit our little one than her current pediatrician, so now our entire family sees Dr. Im.

The office staff is also amazing - you basically feel like you're part of one big old family.

I think for me, trust in the American model of healthcare is a bit iffy. If you spend some time familiarizing yourself with how doctors are generally incentivized to treat patients, it's less about individualized care, and more about meeting quotas. It's hard to find doctors that you can implicitly trust, and Dr. Im is definitely on of the rare-to-find exceptions.

I have one of those annoying personalities where I feel like I research things to death, and honestly, in all my research, can't find a better family doctor in Columbus. You'll see what I mean from your very first visit.

Going to Dr. Im's office is like visiting best friends. For example, the friendly greetings by all the staff and availability of healthy snacks and beverages. On the serious side, the thoroughness of dealing with the health issues I might have at any time.

This office works like a well oiled machine! Meeting Dr.Im 20+years ago , was a very important day! A big gift in life is when your doctor understands and gets you. All working within the walls of his office are extremely professional and happy people! They are my wellness family… and all so easy to love ❤

Best family physician I have ever had! We started going to Dr. Im because he came highly recommended from a nurse friend who said patients go to him because he is not afraid to dig deep and figure out what the root cause of the issue is. He collaborates with his patients, it is never one sided. He really takes the time to ask a lot of questions and understand how you feel. He doesn't just look at lab results. He may have a waiting list but I would call to double check.

Dr. Im and his staff are fantastic! I first sought care from Dr. Im for chronic issues related to my Hashimotos. Dr. Im knows the disease well, listens to my concerns, spends quality time with his patients, and is truly interested in getting to the root cause of disease. He thinks outside the box and truly focuses on preventative care and not the normal "sick care."

Love this guy. He's got my back when life randomly gives me a health hiccup so I can focus on more important things in life. Dr. Im is incredibly knowledgeable, funny and reliable! If his practice is ever accepting new patients I suggest you hurry and meet him before spots are taken.

After a severe ski accident In 2018 I followed up with Dr. Im and found him to be thorough, knowledgeable and probably most of all... kind. He has a very good manner and will answer all of your questions. I have since referred my family to become his patients. His staff is also great and welcoming.

I am very happy with Dr. Im and his staff. Due to the level of trust and understanding, I am able to call the office and request the type of help I would have had to see doctor face to face for each time in the past. Dr. Im still maintains professional control, as he should, and I appreciate the cooperation and help I am receiving.

Dr. Im is fantastic and well worth the concierge fee that he charges to see him. As a patient I am able to be seen (in most cases) the same day as I call and am never kept waiting once in his office. He is also incredibly thorough and kind.

I left Dr. Osborne's (Dr. Im's former partner) practice several years ago after being notified of the change to a concierge service. The doctor I switched to after I received the notification conducted unnecessary tests, had ridiculous wait times, and was terribly inconsiderate. That experience led me to run back to Dublin Medical Clinic for the care I deserved to receive. In the end, the amount I paid out to Dr. Osborne/Im in concierge fees was less than what I was being charged by the other physician.

You get what you pay for!

Dr Im has done a great job working with me on my health and care. I absolutely love the personalized attention I get. It’s the way primary care should be! I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Im is by far my favorite Doctor. I regret moving back to Pennsylvania because I will never find a doctor like him! He was kind, compassionate and funny! I am hoping to move back in the area next year and I hope he will be accepting an old but new patient 😊😊
