Dig Wines

I'm so unfamiliar with French and Italian wines. The staff here is excellent at explaining everything and finding you a perfect wine. Both my boyfriend and I found wines that we love here. And that's a tall order considering we have very different tastes in wine.

Wayne runs a great little shop with a variety of interesting wines from boutique vineyards in France/Italy, at a variety of price points. He's always happy to help you select the perfect bottle for any occasion!

If you are looking for an education in European wines, Wayne had expertly essembled a "greatest hits" collection that consistently rotates, with nearly all regions of France and Italy represented. Whether you are California wine drinker looking to expand your horizons or a old world enthusiast, Dig has something for you.

The best place in the city to shop for quality French or Italian wines (with a small by growing selection of German Riesling). Talk to Wayne, he is a gentleman and an encyclopedia, he'll look after you.

In Francisco we are blessed with good wine shops. But if we are looking for something out of the ordinary, a little something special, this is the spot. It is a little out of the way, but well worth the trek.
