Cool vibes with Matching decor and seating setup. Souvenir shop. Great location. Street parking or pay garage parking nearby. Lots to do and see in the area. Service was lovely. Food was delicious. Timing spent for first time experience was decent. Atmosphere is Vegas like without the casino.

Had an amazing night at Hard Rock SF for my birthday. Our server Bunny was amazing and made me feel like I was a celebrity with it being my birthday thank you! The service was amazing, food & drinks were fabulous all staff are a credit to Hard Rock SF.

We (7 of us total) stopped by here for lunch on Wed (4/5) after our ride on the Blue & Gold Fleet. Seating was immediate. Wasn’t super crowded. The restaurant is clean and welcoming just like other Hard Rock Cafe’s we’ve been to. It’s entertaining and fun. Service was good. Our food came hot straight from the kitchen. All came out really well and tasted really good. Everyone enjoyed their meal which was great. Would definitely return if in the area again. Highly recommend if you’re at PIER 39 and looking for a good lunch. Restaurant 5/5. Service 5/5. Food 5/5. Food presentation 5/5. Value/Price ratio 5/5.

This place has a very cool vibe, burgers and fries are amazing. The staff's friendliness and engagement is excellent. I have been here 3 times in the past 2 months, and loved each time. The only thing I was not very impressed with was when I tried Messi burger(no offense to Messi, he's goat), but the burger was not so good. My recommendation would be BBQ bacon cheeseburger, fries, onion rings and few Long Island Ice Teas 😜

We visited this week on a weekend for lunch. Very busy place expect a 20-30min wait time. Or try to reserve a table in advance. Our waitress was so great and very helpful in suggesting the food. We ordered wings, drinks, flat bread and a chicken burger everything tasted delicious. They gave us one wrong order and corrected immediately later complimented with free fries. Overall excellent experience I highly recommend it if you are visiting pier 39.

Very expensive but the staff are amazing! They are fast and helpful and some of the nicest people I came across while in California. One of the guys even helped me explain that Elvis was the king of rock and roll to my un trustful son 🤣

I've always liked to visit the Hard Rock Cafe in every city around the world that has them. This one was pretty nice too. It's a good atmosphere, especially if you sit at the bar. Other than that, it's the same food and rocking experience you'd expect from the world famous Hard Rock!

We went in for my birthday lunch 4/7 and I figured let’s give it a try. I don’t usually like crowned places but I mean I’m in the bay!

We had gotten a reservation to be safe but luckily we didn’t even need one they sat us down immediately.

The server was fast and the staff very attentive to all the tables needs.
The food was delicious and this drink I forgot the name was amazing coffee martini style zz

Amazing atmosphere just too loud heavy metal sometimes, good service, good food, but expensive. The new Messi Sandwich was delicious, the lemonades refreshing, and great steak.

Love this Hard Rock Cafe the most. Services, food and drinks are great, staffs in the restaurant are so welcoming, friendly and great team players. Enjoyed my Birthday celebration there. Rock shop cashier is prompt and polite too. I would definitely come back again.

Rocked up to Hard Rock Cafe with expectations as high as a soaring guitar solo, and boy, did they hit the high note! From the décor, a masterclass in rock n' roll history, to the burger that had me headbanging in flavor ecstasy, it was a chart-topper of an experience. Even the staff seemed like they could've been on tour with the Stones. Came for the grub, stayed for the ambiance, left with a rockin' good memory. Encore, please!

Great location on the pier! We sat at the bar & Ronaldo (lawd I hope I got his name correct) he was just so great! Our drinks were good & strong!👌🏼
He made sure our glasses stayed full & we didn't need for anything! Hubby & I opted for burgers (which is unusual) & they were so damn good!
Great atmosphere! Good music & videos! We bought anniversary glasses to remember this moment!

Brought 25 Uk students for a meal, Rose was great, everything was ready when we arrived and prompt efficient service, our group also received 20% off in the shop. I want to say a massive thanks to Rose, 2 students were unable to go on the trip due to ill health and she gave us a free gift for them. Thanks, we will be back next year

Overall I would say it is worth visiting

My husband didn’t want to go to a place we had been before, but we weren’t disappointed. Service was great and our host was too funny and sweet. Love the kid’s meal coming out as the guitar with sauces in the frets. My husband LOVED his Bahama Mama and my son enjoyed his sauces way too much. I had a burger that I intended to save, but ended up consuming the whole thing. It was tender and juicy.

Great service, great food! Loved the bbq ribs, they gave me a huge portion of ribs and their taste was great! I wanted to sit outside and I saw that there was a bit of mess with the number of the tables, but the good thing was that my waitresses was very clever and she found out a resourceful way to solve it.

Great place to eat. Realy friendly and also realy Kidfriendly. We had Burger and Nachos and was realy good. The Kids Meal included a little soccer ball.

Our first time here and it was great. the only thing I would critique is that the drinks were a little weak for their price. But they were delicious, we had the hurricane. The sliders were the best I've ever had a cool vibe. The several were very attentive and friendly.
If you're from Canada they do not bring you a credit card machine to pay, you just tell your server and she'll bring you to the server station where you'll pay. You'll have to bring cash to tip if you are going to tap your card.
