Omg a Mexican Chocolate cookie?! 👀 So moist and delicious.

Also their jalapeño biscuit sandwich was soft and very tasty. They use cornmeal, and it’s not spicy. Had it warmed up, and the egg was still soft and warm on the inside.

Really affordable for most SF places, and they don’t upcharge you for milk substitutions, I really appreciate that.

Great cookies and pastries. Always nice when I can support a non profit social enterprise providing job training and employment for folks with disabilities. Plus Jamilla is a big fan

This place is awesome. They use quality ingredients to make some of the most delicious things you have ever tasted.
The atmosphere is very upbeat and welcoming with a focus on customer service. They actually hire people with developmental disabilities and those who are homeless or at risk and teach them solid fundamentals for getting and keeping a good job.
I can't say enough good things about this place. Mark, the manager, is awesome and caring, and Martha, the baker, is a step above other bakers and makes some of the most unique and delicious treats.
I also have to mention Roxeanna, who works just about every position in the bakery and is always courteous and efficient.
Do yourself and stop into the San Francisco treasure today.

I've used their service twice to ask for custom-made cakes/pastries. They are super adaptable, and so far, the rosa de Reyes and pan de Muertos were fabulous! I highly recommend them for custom-made realizations for sure!

Egg, cheese, ham Jalapeño biscuit is terrific. We have walked by this place since it opened and never went in because our timeshare (Inn at The Opera) stopped doing breakfast since COVID.Today was a wonderful find. The rest of our party raved about their choices too. We’ll be back.

Underrated cafe on Gough. Great bakery items (I reccomend the cinnamon buns), fast service, rarely a line.

Icing on the bun is that they provide employment and training for people with disabilities, who are homeless or at risk.

This place is divine. Selection, flavors, priced right. The baked goods are exactly as the tags say. They taste exactly like you image - perfect. I got quite the selection this morning, just had the Mexican hot chocolate snickerdoodle cookie. Oh my, I wish I had gotten a few more. It’s perfectly chocolaty, just like a rich cup of homemade from scratch hot coco. But then the spice from Mexican hot coco comes through - so good. And the cinnamon sugar on the outside balances the spice as well as the rich chocolate.

I also got the egg salad sandwich (needed to eat some ‘real’ food before indulging in the baked goods). The egg salad had some diced fresh jalapeños in it. They helped balance the rich creaminess of the egg salad as well as the seeded bread.

An excellent nonprofit worth supporting (it is staffed by disabled and at-risk employees) that coincidentally has really great baked goods.

There are a couple of vegan and gluten-free options — usually cookies — and their pizza always has a creative vegetarian option. I don’t know that I’d trust anyone else to put pistachios on pizza but they make it work.

The music tends to lean towards left-of-the-dial classics played none too loudly. The window seats offer a good view of pedestrians but not so many that it is distracting from any work you might be doing. Limited power outlet access.

The best scones, hands down!
They currently have two, cherry/almond, & ginger/currant. Both are great! Can't wait to try other flavors when they change!

Not only is this an excellent place to get freshly baked bread and delicious sandwiches but they are a social enterprise supporting people with disabilities to get work. That's a win win for me!

They do a really good job. Delicious baked goods. I don't drink coffee, so I can't speak to that, but their scones are great as are the rest of the baked goods.

COVID abounds, but they still let me work on my PC and sip on coffee.

The mushroom empanada tasted very good. The shell was crisp, not at all soggy from the contents.

I had a really nice galette from them today. It was very tasty and wouldn’t have made any additional recommendations to make it better. I would go back.
