Best Georgian food, hands down. Nearly every time we visit SF we stop here.
Hearty lunch and dinner foods, as well as sweets.
The shuba is excellent.
You can buy full size cakes for parties.

Never had Russian bread before... I must say. It was so delicious! If you are ever on the Bay area.. Stop by yo pick up some sweet bread to go with your coffee😋

The piroshki are consistently delicious.
Avoid the pretty desserts because they are usually dry. Very much look but don’t touch. Still gets 5 stars because of the variety and tastiness of the piroshki.

Their piroshkis are gigantic and delicious and can be pretty much a meal by itself! They also have different fillings from cabbage to potato to beef and cheese. I tried the potato one and it was delicious! I also tried their cherry turnover which was also a good sized pastry.

Highly recommend and I would definitely try even more pastries the next time I’m around the neighborhood.

This is the place where delicious chebureki are sold. It is a deep fried dumpling that is very popular in Eastern European countries as an appetizer. This meaty turnover with the authentic Russian flavor is a must try dish.

Delicious. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Their Piroshkis have always been my favorite but their breads and desserts are amazing too.

This is an amazing place to get traditional and cheap baked Russian goods. You can tell that the local Slavic people know about this place and come often.

The customer service is very good and the food is also very good. I highly recommend the Napoleon Cake.

If you want to experience some of the Russian cultural food, this is the prime spot to do so.

One of my favorite bakeries ever in SF. I often get a piroszhki as a very delicious grab and go meal. Today was my doll's birthday so I got a beso(sp?) for them. Raspberry white chocolate mousse cake shaped like an apple. So very delicious and very cute. So many other beautiful confections you'll have to see for yourself. They are hella rude to you here if you're not Eastern European it's very good. I also love getting the poppy seed roll.

Updated review 8/29/2021: We lucked out. The piroshkis just came out of the fryer at 1pm on a Sunday. They were still warm. They were awesome. We ate one outside and decided to buy another for later. No line too. Love Moscow & Tbilsi!

Original review: Takeout 4/19/2021. Tonight I had their beef, potato and beef/cheese piroshkis. They were perfectly cooked with a slight crunch on the outside. The insides were spiced correctly making each bite better than the last. I love the service here because the line moves fairly quickly. Great job everyone at Moscow & Tbilisi bakery.

Comrade, how many car windows did you still have when you got back to car?

4 out of 6! A truly successful San Francisco parking experience!

All jokes aside, if you can get parking, and if you get can get parking where your windows aren't going to get smashed in, you totally need to go.

Do note, they come fresh out of the fryer every 10 to 15 minutes. So maybe just sort of hang around and look like you didn't hear asking to take your order until you see them taking out a new tray.

The Soviet era Decor is amazing.
It looks like one of those fake stores showing the Glorious achievements of socialism in some Soviet era magazine.

Sadly, no Eurasian or Mongolian women in babushkas behind the counter anymore. And no, I'm not joking about that.

The lady was very kind and helpful, coming around to the counter to my side and pointing out their most popular items based on my preferences. Super tasty chocolate mishka and poppy seed items!

Nice little Russian pastry shop. Prices are very affordable. Stuffed eggplant roll was delicious. Came here for the khachapuri after a search on Yelp. It was good, but I understand it's traditionally made as a pastry canoe with an egg on top. This was more of a cheese envelope without the egg.

We were thrilled to finally find authentic piroshkis , excellent , so tasty and satisfying!
The prices were amazingly affordable on everything, and we had to try the tempting pastries which were just as authentic and wonderful! (We have been grieving the loss of the famous “House of Piroshki” we grew up with 30-40 Years ago when we came
Into the city from the East bay - and finally found THE PLACE!!)
Please patronize so they never go away…. This was a true gem of a find!

The I got the piroshki, other meat pastries some desserts they were all delicious and the price is very reasonable. The staff were friendly too. They packed all my items carefully.

Lots of Russian savory and sweet goods. Got the almond horn, which is a bit different from expectation, more like almond cannoli than mandelhoernchen as I thought, but still good. The beef and onion pirozhki was warn and tasty.

Great place for eating piroshka, and the pastries were very beautiful to look at! Must go.
