An outstanding restaurant with some of the best food and drinks in SF. We ordered a number of small plates and each was excellent. The bread, sardine chip, mushroom donut, oysters, fried chicken and steak are all delicious. We had to wait for over an hour to be seated but it was worth it. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. I highly recommend Rich Table, it’s truly worth a visit.

Had a spectacular dinner here. The flavors of the food are indeed RICH and delicious. I loved the porcini donuts, duck torn dumpling pasta, and mint ice cream dessert. Loved the blending of cuisine: Mexican, Asian, Italian, and American flavors all blended together. We also had fantastic service; our waitress was funny, kind, and attentive. Celebrating a birthday, this was a great place for date night. The mint ice cream dessert is always on the secret menu! Two cocktails each and five course for $110pp.

We had an unforgettable experience at the restaurant, not only in terms of the food but also due to the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly friendly, which was particularly impressive as we were guests from Germany. Choosing to dine here during our California road trip was influenced by already owning the restaurant's cookbook. It was a delightful evening with outstanding cuisine and warm hospitality.

We came last June to celebrate our wonderful friends on their upcoming nuptials. From reaching out to make the reservation to sitting down and enjoying our meal, we can definitely say that we give Rich Table a 10/10 review. Everyone we worked with to secure the reservation as well as everyone at Rich Table on the evening of the dinner, were so kind, so professional and just phenomenal. This was an evening we will never forget. The atmosphere, the food, the Rich Table team gave seamless and beautiful service and we cannot fathom a more special place to take our dear friends to celebrate their love. If you are looking for a special evening out to remember for years to come, we definitely recommend Rich Table.

Wow, Kevin, Jonny and Marcy all contributed to our excellent experience. Starting from the cocktails all the way to the desert we had a perfect experience. Our food was amazing and so was the location of our table right at the window. Definitely try the duck egg rolls. We will definitely be back when we return to SF

Going to a show, this is a great place to stop before the show. Just make sure you make a reservation, without one you’ll end up on the waitlist. The servers are great about asking what time your show is to make sure you’re out on time. Unfortunately, we felt ignored at the bar for way too long. We were there almost 15 min before we got a drink, and this is a lifetime when you’re sitting at the bar that holds 11 people total. Food was very good! The raclette foam could have had more raclette flavor, but I am just a good old cheese head. The duck was absolutely worth the order, I love this rich meaty dish and the way the pom seeds cut through the heaviness and add a burst of palate cleansing between each bite.

We had a great meal here. We had to make a reservation a few weeks in advance, but it was worth the wait. All the appetizers were top-notch. I also really love the pasta that we got. If I went again, I think I would stay away from the mains and just get every single appetizer on the menu lol. Not that our fish was bad, it just wasn’t as unique as other dishes.

As I was researching restaurants to visit while in San Francisco Rich Table kept popping up on different lists, food blogs, and articles, one even naming it one of the best restaurants in the city. So I knew I had to try this place.

I had a reservation for 10PM but I got a text a hour before saying I could arrive early if I wanted. When I arrived I was warmly greeted and seated immediately at my spot at the bar by someone who I later learned was the GM/Partner Jonny Gilbert.

The bar seat I had turned out to be perfect for me as I had a good view of the kitchen and expo station as well as being able to look out the windows and see some of the things that occur at night on the streets of SF. The bartender and every employee that I came in contact with were very knowledgeable and tuned in to good customer service.

I opted for the Chef Picks service so I could try a few different items including the caviar supplement and it turned out to be a great choice.

I have to say I loved everything, there might have been 1 or 2 things that didn't leave me wowed or blew my socks off. I can't remember the name of everything that I ate but here are some of the highlights:

2 things Rich Table is know for and they definitely lived up to the hype. Did not disappoint. Everything that you heard about it and more!

Oyster w/ Aji Amarillo & Gooseberry Mignonette 5/5 I don't know how I'll go back to eating oysters without this.

Dungeness Crab, Pomelo, Crab Curry, Spaghetti Squash, Trout Crumble 5/5 but I would rate it higher if I could. Probably the best thing I ate at Rich Table. The presentation is perfect but all those tastes and textures really come together in a way I could never had imagined.

Tonnarelli, Sea Urchin, "Cacio e Pepe," Idiazabal 4.5/5 Perfect al dente and creaminess. Yes Italians say don't eat cheese w/ seafood, but this is California dining.

21 Day Dry Aged Ribeye, "A199" Steak Sauce, Twice Baked Potato 5/5 I love steak and if I'm at a steakhouse I order it medium rare, which is a warm RED center and that is exactly how this steak came out of the kitchen. I'm not a steak sauce fan but the "A199" sauce is homemade and I really enjoyed it. Also nowadays I very rarely see twice baked potatoes on a menu but this was good.

Then came dessert. I was celebrating my birthday so I was given a Mint Chocolate Sable with Mint Chocolate Cream and Ice Cream. 4.5/5 That was perfect and I would think it couldn’t get any better but then I was given an Orange Granita as the end of the Chef Picks and it was amazing. 5/5 I love chocolate and all things chocolate but this was even better than I could have ever expected. I mean the shaved ice with the orange segments and the vanilla ice cream (gelato?). I guess it brings back nostalgia for the creamsicles I used to have as a kid but so much better.

Overall a great experience with all of the exceptional food and enhanced by the employees and their friendliness and service along with meeting one of the Chef/Owners Evan Rich and conversing with him and Mr Gilbert about the industry.

Second time being here and it was so nice to be back! Great place for seeing someone I haven’t seen for nearly two years, and I’ve always love the casual ambiance. Food was interesting, though maybe quirky to some, but we definitely loved it. Looking forward to revisiting soon!

Me and my husband had a wonderful dinner at Rich table. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were greeted by the host and he seated us right away on time for our reservation. All of the staff came over multiple times during our dinner to refill our waters or ask if we wanted another cocktail. Our waitress also went over the menu with us in depth and gave us some of her recommendations. I recommend getting a few dishes to share. We started with their porcini donuts, which taste like a savory beignet and we really enjoyed. We also tried the bluefin tuna Toro toast which was delicious, but we don’t think for $20 It was worth the price given they don’t give you a lot of tuna. We also got their take on an eggplant Parm and the aged beef dumplings, which were great. For a pasta dish we tried the lemon ricotta pasta with vodka sauce and thought it was really fresh and the sauce was great. For our main entrée we had the 21 day aged ribeye and their take on a twice baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly, we would highly recommend trying. Come hungry! We would definitely come back to Rich Table.

Everything was delicious!! I’m still thinking about the porcini donuts 🤤 I recommend sharing dishes so you can get a wide variety of dishes to try! The sardine chips were so tasty and the peach pasta was a flavour combo we hadn’t had before, very good! Will definitely be recommending for a fancier night out.

Only qualm was our cocktail order took quite a while and didn’t arrive until after our appetizers. Tasted great! just would have been great if the drinks arrived together.

Good overall experience. The food was outstanding delicious. Exclusive. Innovative. Taste full very well presented. the wine selection was excellent the service was very good.
The downside, but it doesn't change the experience much, was that all our clothes came out with a very strong smell of food (Bring easy to wash cloths) and that the waiter was so loud that make our ears hurt (Bring earplugs ;-) .

Amazing experience! We came here after a show that ran overtime, so we were a bit late. Regardless, we were greeted with a huge smile and the cocktail menu. When cleaning up the first course of bites, our server asked if we would like to leave the sauce to eat with the bread we had left. We both found this very thoughtful because usually at these fancy restaurants I’m worried about my food getting cleaned up too quickly and not being able to enjoy everything long enough! At the end of the night we had to run off to get our car out of the parking lot and completely forgot to take our to-go bag with us. We got a missed call and voicemail to let us know, and they were going to hold it for us for another 30mins even though we were the last customers of the night and had already left! The service was amazing and so was the food. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The fact that we got a reservation for 5 people was incredible for a Saturday night. The food was incredible, prepared to perfection and our server was so nice and attentive, answered our questions and even asked the chef about vegan food options for someone in our party. We mostly ordered a bunch of dishes and ate it cafeteria style.

My favorite by far was the aged beef with the enchilada on top. I had no idea it would be as flavorful and delicate as it was.

The cod was also a close second favorite. Who would’ve thought that peas would taste so amazing. It didn’t even taste fishy.

I loved the experience so much

Absolutely phenomenal meal. We loved every dish we tried and all of them were so creative and delicious! Our favorite dishes of the night:
Porcini donuts (could have eaten like 10 of those), which were so light and airy and had the perfect umami texture.
Chicken Liver Mousse, which was served with madeleines made with crispy chicken skin (sounds weird but was soooo good) - perfectly balanced flavors
Tonnarelli pasta with uni cacio e pepe, such a creamy and umami flavor
Duck mille feuille lasagna was so crispy and the duck really added an awesome dimension to the lasagna
POGS shaved ice was so refreshing and reminded us of Hawaiian shaved ice, and the little fruit jellies were a great touch! The desserts all seemed to have a whimsical, childhood/nostalgia theme to them and it was very cute.

We really loved Rich Table and will definitely be returning. Come with a group and order a la carte family style so you get to try a bit of everything!!

One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had! Food was very delicious - porcini doughnuts were my personal fave. Miso cod, sardine chips and coconut shaved ice were also amazing. Service was also exceptional - everyone from the hosts to the runners were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the food. Can’t wait to come back again!
